Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 18, 2018 Author Staff Share Posted August 18, 2018 Have a full Feng Shui audit at Sky Peak Bukit Batok this morning. A1 Beach Road Prawn Noodle:- Location: 217 BUKIT Batok Street 21 Have posted this stall previously in the forum when I last visited the new flats, here. Nice firm noodles + tasty. Ordered the dry prawn noodles with pig’s tail. Their premium plate costs: $5/-. Normal is either roughly $3 to $4. Notice the thick dark rich soup... However for health reasons, I often just give it a sample sip.. that’s it! And then imagination go ... “too rich... unhealthy, though!” Today, there is a new Coffeeshop at Blk 292 Sky Peak BUKIT Batok. Seems like have taken over much of the business from this block 217 Coffeeshop. As it is more quiet now. This is the newly opened foodclique Coffeeshop below Blk 292 Sky Peak MSCP. In a year’s time... let’s see if this will still be around.. At the rear of the conveyor, a staff collects and wash the dishes without ever moving around..looks like someone must be permanently station there to collect the plates or if it reaches the end of the conveyor, the dirty items may just fall off? The above work area looks crammed and no sitting room? The elderly staff has to stand the whole time?

Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 8, 2018 Author Staff Share Posted September 8, 2018 Chai Chee Bak Chor Mee (Noodles) at Koufu Tampines Central Their noodles are light and balanced. Nowadays one bowl costs $4/- each. Not my TOP choice. As there are better stalls out there! But a better alternative than eating a rice dish. If one happens to be around that area. But looks like at my visit in the morning on a June 2019 Sunday, the cleaner was the only one benefiting from it. She will collect the tray and left over plates. Place it on the conveyor. And once it successfully enters the system; she collected a piece of receipt. This receipt is for a discount...
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 17, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted July 17, 2019 Jalan Sultan Prawn Mee. Basic bowl is $6/- each. Great taste and quality. But a pity at $6/- lacking quantity = not filling enough. Of course... need to pay more ... Like the Beach Road Prawn Mee at East Coast Road, it has the noghiang fritter stall... Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 21, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted November 21, 2019 Signage says ENG Kee Prawn Noodle Two large crunchy whole prawns... other than that taste is so so... especially the soup has a strong garlicky taste... not to my liking.. You can also add free extra sambal balachan chilli.. This can drink costs only $1.00/- wow! Nowadays it is at least $1.50/- or more elsewhere! Bought the drink from Mak’s Cafe... Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 9, 2020 Author Staff Share Posted July 9, 2020 Wang De Fu Prawn Noodles at Shun Li Industrial Park Big $4/- with generous portions of prawns. Chilli not spicy could have been hotter. But filling.. or rather a comfort food. Most importantly, passed the test. Erh what test? No strong after taste of spices after the meal. As in many instances... garlic aroma still permeates in one’s mouth. Slightly sweet because I added an extra generous helping of chillies:- Took a snapshot of the customer in front of me collecting the soup based version:-
Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 20, 2020 Author Staff Share Posted September 20, 2020 Block 302 ACX Food Court Old Place Prawn Mee $4/-. At 1.20pm on a Sunday afternoon.. ran out of bee hoon. Opted for Mee Pok. Not bad, tasteful.

Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 23, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted September 23, 2021 265 Bukit Batok East Ave 4 $5/-. Unique black sauce noodles. Nothing fantastic. Added two more dollars of the intestines. Not that chewy.. most likely frozen before been cooked… Overall edible.
