Thanks good to start or symbolically start before 7th month and continue renovations during 7th month. But safer not to start renovations during or on 7th month. Incase those things happen to stay during 7th month. and get pretty angry when disturbed. Okay to start renovations during 6th lunar month. But no offense.. if one has a loaded gun pointed at one's temple/head.. and NO CHOICE.. else got to sleep on the road side.. then.. what can one do right? Just beliefs. That if a house is EMPTY during 7th month, and if an entity or entities decide to stay during the duration of the 7th month. By going into the house WHEN they "claim it" first i.e. during 7th month; and taking over the house and do defects check or other related things... these entities can be might angry that's all. But if one has a gun on one's head .. that if one does not do certain things .. and if no where else to stay until house is ready.. than take the risks, lah. But if one is able to hold out during this 7th month, then hold out. Note: Chinese 7th month starts on 4 August 2024 and ends on 2nd September 2024. However, can check if it’s possible to still shift furnitures in etc during that month? Frankly, strongly not recommended. In case those entities find it too comfortable to be in your new home. And move-in during the 7th month. Question: Ok so our house will be ready on 1st August, however there is no auspicious dates before the 7th month start. In this case, we will shift everything in before that and move in after the 7th month. Is it okay to leave the house empty then? Not perfect, but if you have constraints, then take it as no choice. The preferred is to do everything after 7th month. Question: You mean to leave the house empty without furnitures and move in the furnitures only after 7th month? Yes, this is preferred. Question: Ok understood. Will arrange the furnitures after 7th month then! Note: Chinese 7th month starts on 4 August 2024 and ends on 2nd September 2024.
