Bamboo is again featured very prominently in this picture:
1. Bamboo plants are featured prominently in the background of this picture.
2. The old man uses the bamboo to fish.
The act of catching the fish symbolises the usefulness of the bamboo.
No wonder, why the Chinese `love' bamboo.
Many homes used to hang out their clothes on bamboo poles.
Again, with a little imagination, you can see so many uses of bamboo.
