Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 13, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted November 13, 2019 Case Study 1: Should I avoid buying a unit facing the church? 1. The first thing that came to my mind is Flo Residences Condo at Punggol. It also has a church right at the southern tip of the shared plot of land:- 2. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is recommended that the unit i.e. windows do not directly face towards the christian CROSS symbol. 3. Thus if one is considering buy stacks such as 356, 504, 506, 508 or 510 best to buy the highest possible floor level. 4. As the church has yet also to be constructed, it is anybody's guess the location of this cross. 4.1. In many new church buildings, this cross could even be mounted onto the external facade or facades.. thus if one's unit is at a low floor, surely, when you open your window(s)... get to see it. 4.2. Better still, if possible, try not to buy these stacks.. unless it is a last resort. 5. Please also note that sha qi can also come from sharp corners (if any) of the church and/or sharp roof-lines. If so, the roof-line can become a sha qi aimed towards one's unit opening(s). Flo Residence Resource: Extract from the above link:
Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 13, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted November 13, 2019 Case Study 2: Is there an issue if my unit directly faces the cross on a church's roof? 1. Extract from a previous review of HDB Waterway Sunrise II:- Resource url:- https://www.geomancy.net/forums/topic/15765-hdb-waterway-sunrise-ii-bto-launched-in-february-2017/?tab=comments#comment-33936 Depending on where the church places a cross. Some churches place it on the tip of their buidling or on the face of their building. There could even be a possibility of such a cross facing a unit at either Block 653B stacks 56 or 58. If so, this is considered inauspicious. In this example: If the above cross is shown as a red marking X, below:- Above: Extract site plan of HDB Waterway Sunrise II Then it could be at the same level of a specific floor of stack 58, then this is considered inauspicious to face such a "church cross-spine". Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 14, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted November 14, 2019 Case Study 3: All stacks/units are even numbered 1. As 4 or 44 or 444 are even numbers, there can be units that may have #04-444. 2. Certain Chinese consider a number like 4, 44 or 444 unlucky! 3. Sometimes, it may also affect Re-sale value, especially if the buyer simply has an adverse thought of it.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 19, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted November 19, 2019 Case Study 4: Sha Qi or Poison arrow from neighbouring block's sharp corner 1. Every corner I turn to in this site plan is like a web of poison arrows... 2. Below: Stack #440 has two poison arrows aimed at it. So as stack #494! 3. Can I be 100% sure that there is a potential arrow aimed towards my unit? 4. A poison arrow from a sharp corner can only happen if it is aimed towards a unit's opening such as the living room window (hard to cure).. to aimed at a bedroom window... 4.1 Ultimately, one has to physically present within the unit: standing inside each window area looking outwards... otherwise, your guess is good as mine. Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 19, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted November 19, 2019 Case Study 5: Advisable to avoid purchasing a low floor unit that may have a view into the interior of a Precinct Pavilion (PP) 1. The planners of this development did a good job to tuck both PPs at each end of the development with one side of it facing a road. 1.1. This means that there will be lesser units facing towards and/or looking into the PP. 2. Below: HDB Plantation Village where one of the PPs is wraped around Two Blocks: 125A and 125B:- 2. Here, whenever there are activities be it a wake/funeral = chants and religious ceremonies performed or say functions like a Malay wedding.. could mean some sound (noise) generated and spread towards the inner stacks/units of this two blocks:-
Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 19, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted November 19, 2019 Case Study 6: Is there an issue buying a unit close-by to an Electrical Sub-Station (ESS)? 1. Frankly, there is no known effects of even living directly above an ESS. 2. In fact for this development, the two ESS are a reasonable distance away from the stacks highlighed in yellow. 3. Thus there should be no excuse when it comes to a resale, here.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 19, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted November 19, 2019 Case 7: Units with a view of the Common Bin Lobby (CBL) or main door close to it 1. Under Symbolism in Feng Shui, it is considered inauspicious to see the CBL from the main entrance as shown under the YELLOW colour code:- 2. Best also to avoid purchasing stacks/units colour coded in RED = especially #481, #468, #490 and even #300. 3. Colour coded in Green is considered not perfect. But can be considered if one want to. Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 19, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted November 19, 2019 Case 8: Is it a concern if my unit faces a school? 1. Two stacks #366 and #368 are directly facing a future school. 2. While stacks #338 and #340 is also facing the future school but closer to it's fringe. 3. It is good that these four stacks are a considerable distance away from the school and usually the classrooms along this stretch. 3.1. Thus, it is as far as it gets. 3.2. Some consider a school especially after school hours and during long periods of school holidays Yin = quite, no activity. 3.3. And living too close to a too Yin location is considered not ideal. 4. Other concerns include:- 4.1. Expect around 2 or 2 1/2 plus years for construction work on a school. If so, expect noise and dusts during this period. 4.2. It is recommended to purchase a unit that is at least 6th storey's high. 4.2.1. This is to avoid a potential poison arrow from the roof-line of the school slicing towards an openin of a unit: be it the living room windows or bedroom windows. Newowner
Hi Shifu For these blocks at Plantation Grange and Garden Vines do you have the NSEW North South East West thing that you have drawn for Plantation Village? My appointment is in 1 week time and all the flats that are good for my fengshui is all taken up at Plantation Village. I would like to live above the 8th floor as well. When I look at my charts.. For housing this is what i should look out for: My wealth is Metal - North-West or West. My other top 2 is Earth - NE/ SW and Water - North. What blocks should I look out for instead at Plantation Grange and Garden Vines if I want to face the NW or West? I would really appreciate it, thank you!
