Bounded by Toa Payoh East and Kim Keat Avenue, Kim Keat Ripples  comprises 3 residential blocks, with heights ranging from 16 to 31 storeys, creating a distinctive skyline. 

Inspired by the nearby Kallang river, the development's landscape and building facades are designed to mimic water ripples coming together and merging. The development's name conveys this design inspiration. 

Residents can choose to unwind and relax at the lush rooftop gardens found over at the Multi-Storey Car Park, single-storey childcare centre, and two of the residential blocks. There will be fitness stations and children's playgrounds providing residents with spaces to keep fit and have fun. For greater convenience, more facilities like a childcare centre and a Residents' Committee Centre will be provided within the development.

Case Study 1: HDB Kim Keat Ripples comes under Period 9 Flying Star Feng Shui

Case Study 2: Male breadwinner purchasing a unit at Kim Keat Ripples + Fire at Heaven's Gate

1. Based on a sample of one of the stacks/units = #430; part of the kitchen and most likely the stove could be located at the inauspicious Fire at Heaven's gate.

2. Do look out for similar or same facing and orientation of the layout. As they might also be affected by the above concern.

Case Study 3: Avoid buying a low floor unit that faces the entry/exit towards the development.

In this example, stack/unit #410 directly faces the entry/exit into Kim Keat Ripples estate service road.

Thus avoid low floors as the vehicles coming into the development can "displace" sha qi towards units like #02-410 and #03-410.

Case Study 4A: Kudos to the designer/planners of this estate's placement of the common bins for two (2) blocks = 268A and 269A. (But not that great for Block 270A.)

1. HDB Kim Keat Ripples applies the traditional classic placement of the common bins (recycle and refuse):-

2. In two above blocks, it is great to learn that even if stacks #422, #424 and #414 and #416 are close-by to the common bins.

2.1. Fortunately, the blue colour codes shows that the common ins are bounded on each side by two emergency exits. This implies that from the main entrance of these units or for that matter the kitchen area; no unit has a view into the common bin lobby.

2.2. In addition, even if one were to stand at say stack #412 or #426. Also in general cannot see into the bin lobby.

3. However, do take note that there is a high possibility if one is standing at the main entrance of stacks/units #440 and #442 = might see into the common bin:-

3.1. This is the only complaint.

Case Study 4B: There is a stigma attached to stacks/units such as 444 or 414.

1. Often (unfortunately, this has more to do with future re-sale value.

2. Thus even if one is neutral to such numbers. One can never sway a potential future buyer to be concerned with such a number.

2.1. Or even worse, give such potential future buyers and agents the excuse to "low-ball" the offer!.

3. Therefore if one is in doubt, do skip these stacks/units.
