The planned BTO flat construction (at West Hill) within Bukit Batok Hillside Park area is a serious ecological concern. It is the site where the petition was created to conserve the entire BBHP area for the sake of our biodiversity and for ourselves and our future generations.

Case Study 1: Any concern if my unit faces a church? Four Stacks #975, #977, #957 and #959 face the compound of the church.

1. Some Feng Shui Masters advice against buying a unit near-by to a church and /or facing it.

2. There are also some who fall within the sphere of being a stigma.

3. For whatever reasons, plain and simple, try to place these stacks as a lower priority. 

4. Under Symbolism, it is good for the unit to face the spine of the church, such as the cross usually found on more traditional churches.

Case Study 2: Example of Front Door facing a long corridor = Stack #911

1. Stack/Unit #911 is considered as having it's front door facing a long corridor.

2. In theory #911 also faces the staircase. But fortunately the staircase (directly on the opposite end is literally a distance away.) 

2.1. And by law, this staircase door is required to be closed at all times. Thus no issue, here.

Case Study 3: Stacks near-by to the Precinct Pavilion (PP)

1. Avoid low floors of stacks #973 and #919 which has a view of the PP.

2. During activities at the PP, there is a possibility of "noise" coming from it towards #931, #971 and #975. (Possible also for #925 and #927 also.)

Case Study 4: This estate would have been planned better with suggested MSCP as shown, below to take advantage of a. Park View as well as a b. buffer for the church, c. traffic noise and even the d. afternoon sun.

Here's to could have "killed four birds with a single stone."

Case Study 6: Stacks in close proximity to the Common Bin Lobby (CBL)

1. Stacks #951 and #981 share the same wall as the CBL + Front door is just a stone's throw away from it.

2. As for Stacks #957 and #979, the entrance to the CBL is visible from it's front door.

3. Especially for these four stacks it has more to do with a stigma + hopefully also considerate neighbours who do not have a habit of littering the CBL.

4. Eventually should these units be placed for re-sale; it may become a potential buyer's consideration in their decision making to buy or not to buy and/or even with a "low-ball" offer(s).

Case Study 7: Any concern if my unit shares the same wall as a Lift Lobby/Lift?

1.  Some were told that is inauspicious for one's unit to share the same wall as a lift-well. As the lift are in constant motion. Is this true?

2.  For unit #957 there is totally no cause for concern given that the Lifts x 2 are sharing the same wall as the HS + Kitchen. And never a frontage or living room/bedroom sector.

3. In fact, it is a blessing in disguise. Given that (touch-wood) should anything happen or the unlikely event of the collapse of this block, it is good for a unit to share the infrastructure with a HS + Lifts x 2 = Added security and structural strength. Much like a unit sharing a wall with a set of EXIT staircase/stair-well.

Case Study 8: Period 9 Flying Star Feng Shui of HDB West Hill BTO

1. Majority of the units are either facing NE1 or SW1 facing. With a few stacks/units facing SE1 and E2.

2. Under Period 9 Feng Shui, SW1, E2 and SE1 enjoys Double Auspicious Stars [#9] + [#9] at it's frontage.

2.1. For NE1, overall less lucky as this Double Auspicious Stars [#9] + [#9] are instead wasted at the "rear" of the unit which is often the kitchen - especially for the 3, 4 & 5 bedrooms flats. However, a saving grace for NE1 facing stacks/units is that it enjoys a "Sum of Ten Water Star"

2.1.1. Here an individual sector's Base Star + Water Star adds up to Ten. Even if this sector has bad stars it can flip to become favourable sector.

3. For SE1, it enjoys a "Sum of Ten Mountain Star"

3.1. Here an individual sector's Base Star + Mountain Star adds up to Ten. Even if this sector has bad stars it can flip to become favourable sector.

Case Study: Every site even this development has it's the Good, the Bad and the Ugly Units

1. Remember, even if a geomancer says that this is a good development. However, a good unit also depends on where it is within the development:

3. Often if one is lucky, even if the unit is not so fantastic superficially. Some units are like an unpolished gem. While others unfortunately may be a hopeless rotten apple.

3.1. Just imagine, if the unit is like a 10 year old rundown 1,000 cc car. Even a good Feng Shui Master is unable to turn it into a good unit!

4. Under Habit 1, one possibility is by ranking one's bedroom type by stack/unit: 1st choice, 2nd choice etc...
