Irregular lot - How to cure?

Hi Master,

I bought a lot that's irregular on the back where the left side is longer than the right side by 25'. The lot is facing East at front. So the lot is East - West. I read several Feng Shui that states it's bad luck. How could I cure it? Should I plant hedges across to make it rectangular and pretend that longer side is not my land? Or could I plant trees and grasses on that extended part?

Thank you for posting the plot outline.

Good news is that frankly, I have seen worst-off plots than this. 

Other than this there is really limited information (Below - Reference: Habit 1: A Triage). But strongly belief that if built in a "robust" manner, this plot should not be a problem.

And concepts like Habit 3: Concept of Maximizing Luck...

Thanks for replying to my post but could you be a bit more specific, e.g., what other info you need? Since I'm not currently in the state where the lot is, I can't show you the lot. And what do mean by building in a "robust" manner? 

I can tell you the front is facing East (slightly NE). The irregular part is at the back, which is facing West. Beyond the property line is natural preserve with tall pine trees. The trees are taller than the house. There may be a bit of open green space between my lot and the natural preserve. I'm thinking of planting trees and landscape my lot, especially the angle area. I'm checking with the builder representative to see whether I can plant trees beyond my property line on the right side as well if it's open green space. I'm waiting for answer on that. I just want to camouflage it so it doesn't look like it's a sharp angle with a missing marriage corner. Does that make it better? Or the tall pine trees beyond my property line has cured it?
