Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 9, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted June 9, 2021 Case Study 1: Sha Qi from potential Long corridor towards Block 95A Stack 510 - also depends on the position of the front door. Photos are for illustration only. (Not from this estate) View from the front gate of this unit: P.S. Please note that the photo illustrations were from a recent T.O.P unit at another HDB estate in Bedok i.e Bedok South Horizon. Additional Stacks/units that may be affected by a long corridor: Block 95C Stack 578 Block 97B Stack 60B
Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 26, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted June 26, 2021 Case Study 2: Potential sharp corner of the MSCP building corner (up to 7th storeys) aimed towards Stack 628. I can also see the ESS with a sharp corner aimed towards 594. Fortunately it and the sharp corner of the MSCP does not seem to be a threat at all, here. Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 3, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted July 3, 2021 Case Study 3: Entry into the estate and #02-576 and #02-578 1. Good news that stack #578 is set-back a distance from the entrance of the service road. 2. However, in the evenings many vehicles would turn into the estate towards the MSCP car park. 2.1. If so, some vehicle head-lights may when turning towards the service road shine their lights into the living room and bedrooms of both #02-576 and #02-578. 3. Thus do avoid these two units like the... the plague... else expect to install "heavy" night curtains.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 3, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted July 3, 2021 Case Study 4: Possible Tian Zhan Sha towards stacks #654, #656 and 652 1. Wind influence of Macpherson Weave is mostly via North-South (High / Low pressure zones) due to it's close proximity to the East Coast (sea) and landfall. 2. If strong winds flow from North towards South towards #654 and #656, then do control the wind through the windows of these two stacks. Else may affect both health and wealth. 3. "Wind, wind, go away!" Not me.....#652! Why me? .... 3.1 The good news is that usually wind less likely to flow West to East around Macpherson Weave... PHEW! 3.2. Just in case, if one imagine holding an umbrella and if the wind tilts the umbrella one direction and tries to yank it out of one's hand.. then... do control the wind going into the unit! Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 4, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted July 4, 2021 Case Study 5: Precinct Pavilion (PP)+ Avoid low floors of stacks of #592, #594, #590, #628 and #630 1. Avoid low floors of #592, #594, #628 and #630 has it has a view into the PP. Where on occasions there are funerals and religious rituals performed at these events. And on occasions wedding music played out (noise pollution). 2. Also avoid low floors of #590 due to the occasional "noise pollution" also. 3. There are two more PPs in this estate: Block 95 and Block 99 3.1. Same considerations as above.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 4, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted July 4, 2021 Case Study 6: Avoid low floors of stacks #606 and #608 to avoid the frontage facing building wall(s) or the roof-line of the school (Sha qi). 1. For Stack #596 also potential roof-line of the school building(s) and "noise" during school hours. Related:

Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 4, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted July 4, 2021 Case Study 7: Who don't want to have unobstructed views? Kee Chiu! "I want! I want! I also want!" P.S. This is just sampling. There can be more.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 9, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted July 9, 2021 Case Study 8: Sha Qi or Poison arrows from neighbouring sharp corners 1. It is inevitable that once blocks and stacks are not arranged parallel to each other this can result in poison arrow(s) from sharp corners of neighbouring blocks aimed towards some stacks/units. 2. For example, there is sha qi from stack 640 aimed towards 624. 3. Please take note that this is just one sample. There may be more under this development. Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 31, 2023 Author Staff Share Posted March 31, 2023 Case Study: Every site even this development has it's the Good, the Bad and the Ugly Units 1. Remember, even if a geomancer says that this is a good development. However, a good unit also depends on where it is within the development: 2. Is your potential unit under the Good, the Bad or the Ugly? 3. Often if one is lucky, even if the unit is not so fantastic superficially. Some units are like an unpolished gem. While others unfortunately may be a hopeless rotten apple. 3.1. Just imagine, if the unit is like a 10 year old rundown 1,000 cc car. Even a good Feng Shui Master is unable to turn it into a good unit! By the way, (above) this falls under Habit Number 11. 4. Under Habit 1, one possibility is by ranking one's bedroom type by stack/unit: 1st choice, 2nd choice etc...
