Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 7, 2021 Staff Share Posted July 7, 2021 Sorry, I am using an iPhone. Thus roughly placed the red dot = Centrepoint. For more accurate… use the green box outline to locate the exact center.

Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 7, 2021 Staff Share Posted July 7, 2021 1. A rudimentary method is to scan a copy of this area of the layout plan, paste on a card board and cut-out an outline; 2. Next balance it on a nail to locate the centre of gravity. 3. It should most like be around the “red dot” area. 4. The method I used earlier is called “the eyeball method”. P.S. Please remember to discount the. Non-living-in area where possible. And yes not everything are missing areas! As can be seen from this case.
Ykr
One more question for this topic please: As I understand, we shouldn’t take the balcony into consideration, in placing the centre of this apartment. I want to ask, why is that? Thank you very much

I want to ask, why is that? Thank you very much It is not a living-IN area. And even in recent years, the Singapore government had to regulate how much ratio to floor area the balcony or PES is allowed for each flat. I have added this details somewhere in this forum. Forgot .. roughly perhaps not exceed 19%? Total floor area.. or thereabouts! “This is my way or the highway, lah!” Anyway there is no ruleset on this matter. Some others may do so, I don’t know… about them.
