JoyAnne Posted May 28 Share Posted May 28 Mr. Lee, The people on the west side of my house are constantly creating smoke. They are all chain smokers as well as instead of using their green waste bin they are burning nearly every day. They didn't start the outdoor rubbish burning until the eldest man in the house passed away. They are in violation of the local burning laws, but the fire department has chosen to do nothing about it. The smoke gets into my house even with doors and windows shut, it has caused some damage to my outdoor storage as well. I must run air filters and make use of my air-conditioning more than I would usually need to do, which is draining my finances. Their burn pile is close enough to my house that the tree between our properties is visibly swaying from the smoke/heat and I have had to use my leaf blower to remove the ash before letting my dogs out. I have told them this a problem and they don't care. I was advised to hang flat mirrors facing their house and so far this has done nothing. I considered my p8 house #3 star locations and am unsure if I have applied the correct cures. In the NE 1,3 (missing corner, as well as the outer side of my front door) I have a solar light on a metal stake- In the N 3,5 I have a metal gate, metal solar decor, and still water (1/2 outdoor the other 1/2 is a bedroom) and the annual 3 falls in the center of my home which is 7,9 where I have still water and a mostly unused electric fireplace that is painted blue in a room that is rarely used with a happy cow figurine, and few plants. All of this started at the end of April, and seemed to calm when I applied some monthly star cures, but started up again last week near the end of May. I have considered cannons - we live in a town that is located in an extreme fire risk and has burned down before. We are still trying to recover and these people feel like a threat to me as well as my whole neighborhood, I am also concerned for the small child that lives with them a few days a week.
