Due to delay, renovation work completes in 7th month. Can more in in 7th month?

Dear Master Lee,

I have issued that renovation work is very likely to complete between 2nd to 3rd week of August that falls in 7th month. 

Currently my husband and myself has been staying at sister's house for nearly 2 months. I have briefly mentioned that we might require to stay till 4/9 and that sort of bothering them. 

Question is: is it good to move back during the period of hungry ghost month? which day is auspicious? What should be done if we have to move in during 7th month? 

Another question is about placement of altar table, unsure which position is suitable.
