Is the Hydrant bad?

Dear Sir,
The main door faced a hydrant right cross
the street on some one else's front yard. Is
this bad? Why should I do?

Hi,
How wide is the road? Is the road a two way traffic road or a small road? Is the front lawn clear such that immediately when you
step out of your main entrance, can you clearly see the fire hydrant? Does your house have a fence to `shield' it from the fire hydrant.
Please clarify, thanks.
Cecil

The road is two way traffic road. There is no fence and it's quite
clear to see the hydrant from the front door. Maybe I pay too much
attention to look for 'things'. The front door to the road is at least
100' long. Compare to the lown and the size of the house. The hydrant
is kind of small. Like I said I probably pay too much attention to it.
But it did borther me that why I ask you is it bad? My nephew told me
hydrant is water, water bring money. It's kind of make me feel better.
But he is a kid. I rather to hear from you. Thank you!

Hi,
Currently, the fire hydrant is considered too far to be a threat to your
house. You can always use plants on either side of your main door or in the
garden.
Yes, symbolically, the fire hydrant is water. But this `water' is too small
to have any effect on your home.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Frankly, a picture (photo) tells a thousand words.

This sentence you wrote is ambiguous. For example, is this unit at ground floor or higher up. Given that you also made reference to a lift etc...

And/or a sketch of sorts.

However, as at now, if in doubt, don’t buy.

Hi. What is the cure for beds located above a car garage? Also, is it ok to have an empty house behind our house? Thanks.

1. Do you know that 70% of Feng Shui is based purely on common sense?

2. Frankly, with or without Feng Shui, common sense says that there can be a remote chance of a vehicle catching fire.

3. Thus common sense says that if a vehicle got shorted / electrical fire or overheated engine compartment, one day it may catch fire.

4. And common sense also says that fire flames upwards.

5. Another common sense thing is that there are some owners/ occupiers of homes may either store flammable items or hoard flammable items in a garage. Again another common sense thing.

6. Therefore, why must this be a Feng Shui thing?

7. Even without Feng Shui, this is pure common sense. More of a concern particularly in type of home construction. Such as many American homes that uses wood and dry walls to construct their homes...

8. More....

8.1. Best not to park a super-car in this garage. Especially if it has been in a start-stop traffic jam earlier. Or if this vehicle is not maintained properly or the car has been "abused or bruised"  earlier...

9. You wrote:  "Also, is it ok to have an empty house behind our house? Thanks."

9.1. Although this can be based on the Yin and Yang principle.

9.2. Buy hey! This is again one of those common sense thing. No need Feng Shui to elaborate it on.

9.3. And yes, it falls under one of those 70% common sense Feng Shui thing.

The link below includes a Fifth (5th) habit... called? ..... hmm....

Extract from the above link:

Common sense says that one can install fire safety equipment e.g. a fire sprinkler e.g. those that has a glass bulb ... where if there is a fire, the glass would burst or nowadays a fire sensor connected to the house alarm system... which monitors for smoke and fire "down under" at the garage.

I did a search in the internet.. for alarm system with fire monitor... use such tools... available today.... you sleep upstairs and let the fire monitoring system handle it.. etc....

What has this really got to do with Feng Shui.

Unless one really get a Feng Shui Master ... and really, he/she asks to place cures e.g. maybe 6 coins... etc.. for what?

The morale of the story?

Next time, see if one can try to relate the situation to common sense?

Look.... I did a search in this forum for : "Common sense" and found 540 results on this.....

The implication is that there are so many things that are related to common sense. And often, a poor excuse to seek help from a Feng Shui Master on them...
