khandha5
My question was, how important are sleeping positions opposed to the arrangement of the furniture? My problem is that i have a little altar and meditation place in my sleeping room and now found out that it is opposed to a toilet on the other side of the wall which is according to your site not so good. Now i wanted to move the altar so it is in a good place and causes no more obstacles. The problem is, to do that i would also have to move my bed and the only way i could move it would be in a direction that would be considered bad according to my sleeping-position-chart (my good ones are east, south, north and south-east).so now that leaves me pretty helpless, begging for an answer from an experienced "feng-shuiist".well, thx anyway for your beautyful site,Larspicture of my bedroom:
Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 23, 2001 Staff Share Posted April 23, 2001 Dear Lars,Thank you for bringing up an interesting question.I can understand your plight in wanting to try to apply the various FS theories. In previous forum messages, I tried to elaborate that priority should be given especially to the `Shapes and Forms' with regards to the location of the position of bed. Therefore, priority should be given to the `proper' placement of the bed. In your situation, although one's altar and mediation table is on opposite wall as the toilet; although it would be `nice' to change the location, but if it does adversely affect the `proper' positioning of the bed, do not do so. Leave the altar/mediation table as it is.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 4/20/01 9:46:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:My question was, how importantare sleeping positionsopposed to the arrangement ofthe furniture? My problem is that i have alittlealtar and meditation place inmy sleeping room and nowfound out that it is opposedto a toilet on the other sideof the wall which is accordingto your site not so good. Now i wanted to move the altarso it is in a good placeand causes no more obstacles. The problem is, to do thati would also have to move mybed and the only way icould move it would be in adirection that would beconsidered bad according to mysleeping-position-chart(my good ones are east, south, north and south-east).so now that leaves me prettyhelpless, begging for ananswer from an experienced"feng-shuiist".well, thx anyway for yourbeautyful site,Larspicture of my bedroom:
