How important are sleeping positions

My question was, how important are sleeping positions
opposed to the arrangement of the furniture?
My problem is that i have a little
altar and meditation place in my sleeping room and now
found out that it is opposed to a toilet on the other side
of the wall which is according to your site not so good.
Now i wanted to move the altar so it is in a good place
and causes no more obstacles. The problem is, to do that
i would also have to move my bed and the only way i
could move it would be in a direction that would be
considered bad according to my sleeping-position-chart
(my good ones are east, south, north and south-east).
so now that leaves me pretty helpless, begging for an
answer from an experienced "feng-shuiist".
well, thx anyway for your beautyful site,
Lars

Dear Lars,
Thank you for bringing up an interesting question.
I can understand your plight in wanting to try to apply the various FS theories.
In previous forum messages, I tried to elaborate that priority should be given especially to the `Shapes and Forms' with regards to the location of the position of bed.
Therefore, priority should be given to the `proper' placement of the bed.
In your situation, although one's altar and mediation table is on opposite wall as the toilet; although it would be `nice' to change the location, but if it does adversely affect the `proper' positioning of the bed, do not do so. Leave the altar/mediation table as it is.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
