lilistera Posted July 26, 2001 Share Posted July 26, 2001 Dear advisor,I have bought the FS Ruler- there is a scale in centimetres and inches on it and 2 (!)different lines with Chinese characters... as I understand that wordings in BLACK is not auspicious; but wordings in RED is good... I am not familiar with Chinese and can't understand the difference between these lines. But for those who purchase rulers, do take note that there can be as many as four different variations of the rulers.The reason for the variation is due to the way, the measurements are interpreted by the people who manufacture / copy them.For those who live in Housing and Development Board Flats (HDB) in Singapore, you will find that the measurements of the doors are within the `red' auspicious zone. This was deliberately done ... with assistance from Feng Shui.
