Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 12, 2002 Staff Share Posted January 12, 2002 Dear All, According to the principles of Shapes and Form Feng Shui, it is deemed inauspicious to have a swimming pool or pond located on the western side of a house. This is due to the fact that the west side is linked to the white tiger, and having a pool in that area is akin to exposing the 'mouth' of the white tiger. It is advised against doing so, as a hungry tiger symbolizes financial loss or potential disasters. Warmest Regards, Cecil
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 14 Author Staff Share Posted July 14 In Summary In Shapes and Form Feng Shui, it is believed to be unfavorable to have a swimming pool or pond situated on the western side of a house. This is because the west side is associated with the white tiger, and having a pool there is like opening the 'mouth' of the white tiger. It is not recommended to do so, as it may lead to financial difficulties or disasters.
