myfs_78788
Just a quick question, I am building a web site for a project on Feng Shui and the twelve animal signs. What would be an auspious colour for the background. I was thinking red with gold, or black and gold. It will not be published but marked so I want a colour that is likley to be auspious for me I am a wood snake with a weak earth element. The marker is an earth pig.Can I also gain your permission to refernce your site (link) as well as credit you for an excellent informative site. Many thanks Tracey
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 17, 2002 Staff Share Posted February 17, 2002 Dear Anon,I feel that you have asked a very interesting question. In this website, if one noticed carefully, we have chosen various colour schemes also for various sections of the website:-1. For Feng Shui resources e.g. our banner or header is green. Green symbolises the east or growth or literally speaking " growth in one's knowldege ".2. For the forum, the colour is blue. Which represents "water element" i.e. fluid. Where forum messages are always fluid and like the "waves" is never constant. Questions posted; for example are frequently new or distinctive.3. This website uses various different colours. 4. For our astrology section e.g. http://www.lovesigns.net - usually many people associate Chinese astrology with love and black with speckled dots of white represent also the stars (is also appropriate) for "astrology" which relates to the stars or planets.5. If you are using red or any other colour, always try to make sure that the text is readible.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 2/17/2002 1:47:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Just a quick question, I ambuilding a web site for aproject on Feng Shui and thetwelve animal signs.
