Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 1, 2002 Staff Share Posted April 1, 2002 Dear Yang Ming,1. For HDB apartments, it is relatively quite easy because majority of the apartments were built either under Period 6 or (today) Period 7.2. If the apartment you are reviewing is built anytime between 1984 to 2003, then it does not matter if it was built in 2001 and completed in 2002 (this year). Therefore, most or all new HDB apartments should be considered as under Period 7. For older apartments built before Period 7 ie. 1983 or below, do check if there were any major renovations done between 1984 to-date. If so, the apartment would most likely be a Period 7 unit.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 4/1/2002 2:51:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Can i use the handover Date asthe age of the building forHDB flats?.
