Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 12, 2002 Staff Share Posted April 12, 2002 Note: The full edited Case Study is found here:-http://sg.geomancy.net/about/location-mainpage/location-mainpage.htmThis is a continuation of Part I: Site location of Geomancy.net office. Refer to this same conference in a few most recent forum message.1. As promised, here are more pictures of why this location was chosen for Geomancy.net's office.2. As mentioned in the earlier e-mail, the office is located in Yio Chu Kang, a sub-urban area. This location is considered as the one of the most auspicious locations as it is the only `Cricket' land in Singapore. In the paranomic view (attached), you will find:-2.1 The office location is actually in a Resort Condominium location.2.2 This creates the ambience for both Robert and myself to innovate and work in a serene enviroment. 2.3 Unlike other competitors, we decided on such a wholesome living, in the mist of greenery, full resort living, swimming pool etc...We feel that work and play can come together!2.4 In the picture, you will notice a basin like location.2.5 You will also find that the roof of this development is pretty good because we chose it as it provides protection e.g. triangular roofs pointing outwards.2.6 We are also at the ground level and a walk into our office is like in the picture shown in Part I.2.7 The water position in the pictures: You will see that it is water flowing in to-wards the development. In fact, we totally enjoy our new environment! Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 17, 2002 Staff Share Posted April 17, 2002 Note: This is an interesting link about the Punggol 21 project:-The URL where you can find out more about the Punggol 21 Master Plan - One of the last largest major housing development area1. This is a further note to the case study of our office situation.2. As part of our strategic planning, we have decided to be situation just a `stone thow' away from Singapore's ambitious Punggol 21 project housing. 3. Where this is the area where, most of the major Housing & Development Board public flats are situated.4. To service and support a large number of clients who intend to do renovations, or move in to the area since early this year, we were able to reduce travelling time to the new flats at Punggol 21 and bordering it ie. Sengkang and Buangkok Cresent area.5. Our hope here is provide a faster turn-around time. Even though Singapore is small, the traffic problem will continue to grow. And .. I believe many of us... really hate... being caught up in a constant nasty traffic snarl. For now, it is felt that, this has been positive. At the same time, we are still above to support easily new housing located especially at Choa Chu Kang and Sembawang. This will keep us quite busy for many years to come.Warmest Regards,Cecil
