2. Well, if you ask me in Singapore, this is very true! In the attached article, you can find out that Singapore families queue up 4 nights in a row just to book a government apartment.
3. In our culture, we hear this term in our daily life: The Kiasu Singaporean.
4. Meaning of Kiasu: Hokkien for "afraid to lose". eg Kiasu Singaporeans will camp overnight for free stuffs. Or in this case.. camp overnight to "book" or buy something... like property?

6. Whenever there is new launch of a major sale of property... you can either see a huge surge of use of Feng Shui tools for searching a good house or calls from `concerned' buyers...
