myfs_82642
I wonder if anyone can help me. I live in a SW 2 Facing house. Last year we had 3 sets of French doors installed. One is in the North Bedroom which is a guest room, one set is in NE which is a childs room which lead on to a balcony and the third one is downstairs in the Kitchen breakfast area which is right between NE & East sector. (All the doors open outwards!)I now understand that this is very bad Feng Shui too many mouths and I am currently not opening any of them. However are there any cures that would allow the doors to be openend in the summer months when it is hot in the day time? Is there anything that you can advise? Many thanksNathalie
Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 19, 2002 Staff Share Posted June 19, 2002 Dear Nathalie,In majority of my audits of homes with too many mouths; the main consequence (so far) or the main issue is on the `children'.I.e. the children or ground adults, have difficulty marrying i.e. becoming bachelors or spinsters. For older persons, the only consequence is on finance if the front area is lined up directly with the back door or window. I.e. Qi flows directly from the front (in a straight line) to the back. If this can be avoided, this is ok.If your children are still young, then it is still not a major issue opening them in summer months. But if your children is of `dating/marriage' age, then, there is consequence of staying single.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 6/19/2002 8:13:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:I wonder if anyone can helpme. myfs_82642
Many thanks Cecil you have really put my mind at rest, my eldest son is only 15 at present and I would prefer him to study at present as I feel he is perhaps a little too young to get married at present. He is a very bright boy but very lazy at doing his homework and as his teachers say he considers homework as optional and when he does it a page of work is plenty. His bedroom is in the East and after a bout of 3 weeks sickness I moved him into the North guest room due to deadly five yellow flying star and his health has improved. I have a missing west corner if I put 6 windchimes in the West will this help him or not, or are there other things you would suggest? His Kua number is 5.May I congratulate you on your speedy responce, I am truly staggered.Warm regardsNathalie Quote from: free-advice Listmanager date: Thu, 20 Jun 2002 02:00:05subject: Re: French door problemsFrom: "Cecil Lee" Dear Nathalie,In majority of my audits of homes with too many mouths; the main consequence (so far) or the main issue is on the `children'.I.e. the children or ground adults, have difficulty marrying i.e. becoming bachelors or spinsters. For older persons, the only consequence is on finance if the front area is lined up directly with the back door or window. Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 23, 2002 Staff Share Posted June 23, 2002 Dear Nathalie,In Feng Shui, there are two concepts:-1. study facing a good direction. You can use the free Feng Shui report to look at it.However, caution is that it is always better to have the study table position based Good Shapes and Forms than (para 1 i.e. nice to have). For example, if the best direction is to place the study table next to the bedroom door; this may be distracting to your eldest son even if the direction is good!2. Another traditional idea is that if it window of the bedroom open out and to the right (a distance away); there is a tall e.g. tower, this signifies, scholaristic achievement. Many FS practitioners encourage the placement of a small figurine of a pagoda (metal, glass or ceramic) on the right side of the study table. In my opinion, this does not mean that the child will pass all his exams with flying colours but rather, one day, it is hoped that he complete e.g. university. In some cases, we hear of children who even fail badly in a specific exam e.g. primary or secondary school. And because having tasted the bitterness, and thru good upbringing, he/she may eventually, excel ...I am not too sure about your layout plan with regards to the extend of missing corner and its relationship with the rest of the layout plan. In my opinion, you may try to place one there (trial and error Feng Shui).
