Dear Cecile Lee,
I love your website as it is full of interesting information. I have studied various books on feng shui and have a question.
My main door situated in the North-West is directly opposite my kitchen door and when the kitchen door is open it is in direct line with the kitchen window. If I close the window will the "chi" still "go out" throught the window or will it remain inside???
Thanks and best regards from Sunny SPAIN,
Lola

Usually, if you have a sketch of the layout would be nice. But, based on your writing, it looks like closing the kitchen window would take care of the straight path of `qi' (chi) going out of the house.

It is best that Qi can meander rather than go off directly thru and out of the house.
If you do not see a direct path from the main door to the back, this is acceptable.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
