Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 21, 2002 Staff Share Posted August 21, 2002 Dear Anon,It is not ideal to have such a situation. On a commonsense approach to Feng Shui, this is because of the fear of leakage e.g. leaking sewerage pipe etc.. However, if the pipes are in good condition and well maintained, this is still OK. Since, there is not much you can really reverse the process. More importantly, it is best to avoid placement of e.g. the dining table directly underneath the toilet bowl.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 8/21/2002 7:40:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Hi Cecil,I would like to know if it isOK to have the master bathabove the dining room and partof the kitchen? jjerome
Hi Master Lee, I have the same situation wherein there is a water closet above the dining table. The only difference is that the developer built a load bearing , waterproof, protective concrete flooring in between the toilet sewerage pipes and my ceiling. The height difference of the toilet floor to my apartment floor is 5.50 meters. The protective floor is built 0.80 meter below the toilet. Is this okay? Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 19, 2018 Staff Share Posted December 19, 2018 As clarified earlier, it has more to do with common sense = possible leaking from the pipes. Thus, if this does not happen, not perfect but have to live with it if the dining table is (still) there.
