myfs_88310
Dear Master Cecil:Can Ba Gua correct "forms and shapes" problems of a house? Is Ba Gua a much effective cure than crystals and metals? I am told by a Feng Shui master not to use Ba Gua because it blocks both negative energy (sha chi) and positive energy all together. What is the real function of Ba Gua? And how and where to use Ba Gua properly?Thank you for your advice in advance.Warm Regards, Jen
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 14, 2003 Staff Share Posted February 14, 2003 Dear Jen,In general, a ba gua or ba gua mirror should not be used inside a home. It is used facing out of a home.Try to check out a set of resources that I had posted last year under Photo Tours of Interest (with pictures).Under this link one can find the various types of Ba Gua mirror(s).Some have a Kirin figure, while some have a set of door gods on it.In many of such instances, the Ba Gua mirror is used for two reasons:1. to ward-off evil and or2. to neutralise sha qi e.g. facing a T junction. Quote I am told by a Feng Shuimaster not to use Ba Guabecause it blocks bothnegative energy (sha chi) andpositive energy all together. Some mirrors have concave, while others have convex or even flat mirrors. Under the above resource, I had covered some of this information. However, if it is meant to be used to ward-off evil, then; here it does not men that it will block off positive energy. Therefore, there is no right or wrong answers to this question.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 2/14/2003 12:26:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Master Cecil:Can Ba Gua correct "forms andshapes" problems of a house? Is Ba Gua a much effectivecure than crystals and metals?I am told by a Feng Shuimaster not to use Ba Guabecause it blocks bothnegative energy (sha chi) andpositive energy all together. What is the real function ofBa Gua?
