myfs_88310
Dear Master Cecil:What is the correct design of a Ba Gua and its color?I am asking this question because there are too many variations of Feng Shui tools on the market these days. For example, I just browsed the internet to look for Feng Shui products. Some online shops sell 3 metal rod, 4 metal rod, 5 metal rod, and 8 metal rod wind chimes. The missing one happens to be the correct one, i.e. the 6 metal rod wind chime. Those shops also string up three I-Ching coins, 4 I-Ching coins, 9 I-Ching coins, and 6 stringed up I-Ching coins are unavailable. As a buyer, it is very easy to unintentionally purchase the wrong Feng-Shui products.I have another question. Exactly one day ago, I got your consensus to hang my 8 metal rod wind chime in the NE corner. A member of this Forum immediately wrote something like: "do not hang wind chime in the NE corner outside the house because the NE is the devil gate". I do not know I should keep my wind chime there or take it down. Please advise.Warmest Regards, Jen
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 18, 2003 Staff Share Posted February 18, 2003 Dear Jen,Please see below:- Quote On 2/15/2003 12:25:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Master Cecil:What is the correct design ofa Ba Gua and its color? Last year, I went out to buy various Ba Gua mirror. And created some resources under conference Photo Tours of Interest (with pictures)Please do a SEARCH under this conference for terms like " Ba Gua " or " convex " and you can visually see the different types of Ba Gua mirrors. Some mirrors are convex, concave, some have door gods on it, some have a lion with two swords in its mouth. Please take the effort to go thru these resources, first.Under the above resource, I have also indicated which type of Ba Gua mirror is normally being used. For those who wants to learn authentic Feng Shui should do more research, first.I personally only apply authentic Feng Shui. Not only authentic, but it must be seen or observed to work for MOST people, MOST of the time. And the guiding principles are:1. No sales of Chinese products be it a figurine, ba gua mirror, wind chimes etc... This is always to ensure, no conflict of interests.2. Simply do a SEARCH in this forum for in-fact so many past questions. Which I purposely did not archive. But is always available if one wants to find out.3. Why not do a search for NE or devil's gate - instead of posting the question below? I am sure, you can get the answers. For example, if one does a search on the main page one can easily find out that there is such a resource available:-http://sg.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-gate.htmIs it so hard to do a SEARCH. I can help to act as a catalyst if one simply cannot find existing resources. But personally, I find it an abuse of the forum is if frequent asks questions are posted, and the next few days a reply pop-up.This should not be the case.Since there are so many users, it is prudent to go and do your homework, first. And if one cannot find the information, feel free to post it. Quote As a buyer, it is very easy tounintentionally purchase thewrong Feng-Shui products. If one know what exactly Feng Shui is about, and perhaps understand:-1. All Feng Shui concepts especially if it relates to cures based on Flying Star MUST use the Five Elements Concept. For example, 6 coins has been mentioned often enough. If one is still not familiar do a SEARCH for ` 6 coins ' or ` 6 rod' wind chime.Or do a search for `3 coins' to give a clue as to what a 3 rod is all about.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote I have another question.
