Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 4, 2003 Staff Share Posted March 4, 2003 Dear Kelvin,1. There are two methods:-The `9-grid' that you had mentioned or a `pie-chart' method.2. For your case, it is much easier to apply the pie-chart method.3. In the attached illustration:3.1 At the East cardinal compass direction, the sector for the pie-chart at East (E) should be as shown:Where blue coloured X to Z is = (equal) to Z to Y. And the exact compass direction at East (E) is at the mid-point of the pie.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 3/4/2003 12:34:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:My Main Door is facingSouth-East, how do i place thegrid since the house is not inthe North South Orientation. Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 4, 2003 Staff Share Posted March 4, 2003 Dear All,1. Attached please find another sample of the pie-chart method.2. Under this example, one can clearly see each sector is `labelled' showing the sector of influence. 3. Overall, I personally prefer to apply the `pie-chart' method over the 9-grid method.4. For example, one can even prepare a pie-chart frame and print it on a transparency. And this transparency can be placed on-top of say an A4 sized layout plan. - Very effective!Warmest Regards,Cecil
