myfs_97509
Hi Robert and Cecil,I live in a double storey terrace house in Malaysia. My personal Kua is KUN (2) and my wife KEN (8). Our house faces SSW with main door located in WSW. According to 8 House theory, we found a good property but unfortunately our common bathroom on both levels sits in the NNE direction which is my Sheng Qi sector. My master bedroom is located above the main door but stretches across the building. The bedroom door now faces NNE; according to the Smaller Taichi, my attached bathroom, located in the East, sits in the Wealth sector of my master bedroom. Therefore all 3 of my bathrooms are located in unfavourable directions. I have read your answers to similar questions that there are no cure. Alternatively can these methods work, (1) If I put a metal Gourd in the bathroom to absorb the bad Qi or (2) hang a round crystal inside to deflect away the bad Qi?When using Flying Star method, should I use SSW as my main door direction or WSW?Your advice is highly appreciated. Thanks.
Staff Robert Lee Posted October 27, 2003 Staff Share Posted October 27, 2003 Dear Frederick,(1) If I Quote put a metal Gourd in thebathroom to absorb the bad Qior (2) hang a round crystalinside to deflect away the badQi? Yes, if you read through some of my past postings and illustrations on the use of the bottle gourd, this is considered an "authentic" Feng Shui cure. Here many Chinese Feng Shui practitioners recommend it to be placed between the toilet and the wall of the bedroom. Especially if one's bedhead is against this wall.Another use, by some FS practitioners is to use it in place of the six-coins or the six-coins in a salt water bottle. (#2 or #5) Here, it is symbolic of "sucking" the bad qi.There is no harm using it. Since, many authentic Feng Shui schools do recommend it.As for the crystal, it is frankly a modern invention. And no crystal appeared earlier than 1970's (in bulk). So, I leave it to you to imagine whether it can or cannot work. Although, some FS practitioners could say that like can be diffused by it.Therefore, between the bottle gourd ("Hulu") or the crystal, the bottle gourd seems to be the more popular "authentic" cure.Personally, the other next best alternative, which is not a Feng Shui cure but rather, "commonsense approach" is the use of hepta air-cleaners. Brand leader such as Honeywell, Amcor etc... With new Japanese comers like Sharp coming into the scene.I personally prefer this last "scientific" approach. I use three air cleaners in my home. And touch wood, and when I first used them, each time, I nearly fall sick, but recovered immediately. And for the last three years, I do not have to see a doctor. The last time I saw a doctor, was to check on the Feng Shui of a clinic.I know of many mothers who needlessly worry about their family. Nowadays, when I look at the palms of several clients, they seemed to "worry unnecessarily". Therefore, if this investment can help; I personally feel, that they have one less worry! In this senario, who cares about #2 or #5! Science can help!Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 10/27/2003 6:38:08 AM, Anonymous wrote:Hi Robert and Cecil,I livein a double storey terracehouse in Malaysia. Staff Robert Lee Posted October 27, 2003 Staff Share Posted October 27, 2003 Dear All,Further to what I had mentioned, this is a link to the Honeywell air cleaner website.I personally believe that if one frequently falls sick or family members fall sick; a higher success rate is to look at the use of air cleaners, than purchasing bottle gourds etc...http://content.honeywell.com/yourhome/eiac-air_cleaners/air_cleaner.aspWarmest Regards,Cecil
Staff Robert Lee Posted October 27, 2003 Staff Share Posted October 27, 2003 Yeah, forgot, Honeywell site also recommends the use of specific plants to help clean the air in the home:- http://content.honeywell.com/yourhome/eiac-air_cleaners/plants.htm Perhaps, for those who cannot (for now) afford the air cleaner can look at the recommended type of plants that can help to clean the house's air.
