I have just scanned thru your message, but did not fully understand it. But
for the star chart of 5ms 2 ws and 7, yes, with such a combination, a third
element water is useful here.
Under the Five elements concept:
Earth -> Metal -> Water
Since #5 and #2 are bad earth; Metal can help to draw out some of these
earth. But not enough. In fact, this location should have `more metal' to
help to further balance #5 and #2.
A double edged sword is #7 weak earth. During this current period 7, #7 is
still favourable. After 2004, this #7 is not as favourable. Thus especially
next year, water is favourable to help reduce #7.
Overall, this three cycle flow is considered auspicious or ok.

AS I HAVE CAME TO KNOW THAT IT IS NOT ADVISABLE TO PLACE WATER FEATURE INSIDE A PROPERTY IN THE EAST, NW,NE, AND SW SECTORS IN 2004.HOWEVER,IT IS GOOD TO PLACE IN SE AND NORTH.
BASED ON THE FLYING STAR OF THE OFFICE,I AM THINKING TO REMOVE FROM EAST TO SOUTH-EAST AREA WHERE BASE STAR #6 ,MS#1 WS#6.NEED YOUR ADVICE WHETHER IS ADVISEABLE TO PLACE THE WATER FEATURE IN SE AREA?YOUR REPLY ON THIS MATTER IS HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

Yes, with the Flying star chart where there are #6 x 2 (strong metal) with MS#1, a water position can be used here.

For water positions:
1. Particularly for Period 7 homes, where there is double #7's under Period 8 (due soon), water positions can be used, here.
2. For example, for N2 (352.5 to 7.4) and N3 (7.5 to 22.4) which has double 7's at it's facing direction, unlike, your case where you want to enhance #6 strong metal(s) with water, water positions at Period 8 "bad metal sector 7" should be used to "drown" or neutralise the #7.
3. For some homes, the alternative may be to see if it is better to change to Period 8. (This depends on the interior layout and the Period 8 N2 or N3 star chart).

1. Therefore, it may not be totally true or 100 percent true for all cases, that water cannot be used at certain sectors.
2. The Flying Star chart has to be looked at.
3. This is because, as mentioned above water positions can be used especially where there are WS#7 or WS#6.

5.1 Other situation is to locate where is the WS#8? Water position can be activated at WS#8 for wealth.
5.2 Although you mentioned that water should not be used at EAST, but, take this example:
5.3 Under Period 8, East 1 67.5 to 82.4 or (75). There is a double #8's at the facing direction.
Therefore, even at EAST, water position can be activated at this sector (since there is a waterstar #8 located here).
Since there is a MS#8 with WS#8 at this sector, a cuscading water fall can be used, here for great beneifit.
