Dear Master Cecil,

Is it auspicious to have clothes hanger being fixed right behind the door? I've seen quite a lot of people hanging their shirts, pants...etc behind the door of their bedroom. Will there be any feng shui issue for the "good chi" to flow in and out of the bedroom?

Please advice. Thanks alot in advance.

Dear Anon,

1. Feng Shui encompasses various aspects, including the environment, the site, and the interior of the home.

2. All of the aforementioned factors have an impact on Feng Shui.

3. In my view, there is no problem with airing shirts and pants, especially if they are not excessively soiled. This is a common practice in the real world.

4. Given that not all of us live in an ideal environment, as long as a room is adequately maintained, I personally do not see this as an issue.

5. Many of us have read Feng Shui books that advise against placing a TV set facing the bed, as it is considered inauspicious. The rationale is that when one sleeps, the spirit may see its reflection on the TV screen and be startled.

6. However, what if the spirit is an extrovert and wishes to view itself before roaming?

7. Nowadays, modern TV sets have minimal reflection. For instance, it is difficult to see one's reflection in a matte black LED monitor screen such as an IBM PC.

8. Another consideration is the tolerance level of individuals. Some can handle spicy food, while others cannot. Similarly, some can sleep comfortably in a room surrounded by mirrors, while others cannot. People also have varying stress tolerance levels.

9. We have a relatively short time on this earth and should be able to enjoy our environment and live comfortably without being restricted by unnecessary limitations. Otherwise, we become slaves to our environment.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil

BEWARE OF THIS AGE-OLD FENG SHUI SCAM

No wonder, Feng Shui suffers from a bad reputation, today

Many Feng Shui Masters are a Feng Shui Store. Their core business is not authentic Feng Shui.
But rather making big bucks by selling lots of useless commercial products in the name of Feng Shui.

Please give me a good reason not to buy such products. Here's one:

Okay, the above was written prior to the knowledge of COV-19. Here’s to another reason, why.

Many Feng Shui Masters and their shops are FAKES!

On Saturday, 14 March 2020, a WhatsApp from a past client

P.S. Frankly, I was just being extremely polite. Actually if one got the hint, as the British always say just throw the "bloody" thing away!

ASK! MUST I BUY FROM YOU?
