Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 17, 1999 Staff Share Posted August 17, 1999 Dear SandraPlease see below:- Quote On 8/16/99 10:11:01 PM, Anonymous wrote:I am so new to Feng Shui, butI'm tryingto learn as much as possible. The mainentrance opens directly to thestaircase.I've read this is not good FS. Yes, it is inauspicious to have the entrance open directly to the staircase. The best neutralizing `agent' is using a partition or decorative partition `shielding' the staircase from the door. Other than this frankly, other methods are not effective. Quote What arethe remedies? I now have aconsole witha mirror above with a floralarrangementsitting on the console. Do you mean that you placed a console below the stairs or at which specific location. Is this related to the top question.ThanksCecil
nrross
I also have stairs facing the front door and have tried a remedy. I put an end table at the bottom of the stairs, against the wall.It has a colorful arrangement of silk flowers on it. Opposite this wall is a face level mirror which holds a smaller arrangement of flowers. I think it is working because people who come in have not even noticed the stairs when I've mentioned them shortly thereafter. Does this sound sufficient, Cecil? Thx.
