Hello ~

I would like your advice on the most auspicious numbers for the suite # that will be used as part of our new address for our business.

We have a variety of choices -- however, I've been reading that 2's, 6's. 8's and 9's are auspicious. Several numbers that we're considering are: 208; 116; 278; 268 and 186.

Many thanks!

Georgette

Generally, for auspicious numbers, there are many many ways to look at it. Finding numbers that contain the numbers you mentioned are generally good.Particularlly, 6 in hokkien prounciation which means luck. 8 is Fa in cantonses prounication which is prosper. 9 is for like jiu or longevity. Thus, anynumber which has these numbers tend to be more auspicious.

Most of the time people try to link the numbers together to get the meaning (if possible), or as long as there is the 8 or 6 these are already considered good like 86 - prosper and luck or 68 luck and prosper. Most will definately like 88 (fa and fa) is like Prosper and Prosper.

4 to chinese especially cantonese is die. But to some western like the lucky 4 leave clover is good. So really there is many ways to look at auspicious or inauspicious number.

There is also another way is use your Kua number ie 9, then you add up the number 208 = 2 + 0 +8 = 10 = 1+0 = 1 so if this is the same as your Kua number it is auspicious for you.

So there is really thousand and one ways to look at auspicious numbers. It is really ultimately up to you which is better for you. As long as you like the number, it really does not matter too much how you interpret the meaning. It is really a matter of personal preference.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards

Number 8 is considered auspicious to the Cantonese dialect group.

Thus #08-08 sounds auspicious especially in SIngapore and Hong Kong with a percentage of Cantonese.
