Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 8, 2008 Staff Share Posted February 8, 2008 Dear Anon, So far, so long as the specific site has properly converted mother's western date of birth to lunar calendar, you can then use it to "predict" a baby's gender. However, there is a question mark - personally have not fully reviewed the accuracy of the model as to whether there is a need to further fine-tune your date and time of birth towards Beijing time or not. In such a situation; could result in either baby being considered as a boy or girl. Thus the two major considerations are: 1. Convertmother's date of birth to lunar.2. Have to guess whether or not to fine-tuneone's date of birth. If so, again there are so many variations. As it is not so simple to covert time based on GMT timing. For example, in Singapore, previously a few decade ago we changed our GMT timing to follow Malaysia and it happens to coincide with Hong-Kong-Beijing timing. In US, there is also the day-light hours etc.. In this modern age; best to consult own doctor... and use methods like ultra-sound etc... insteadWarmest Regards,Cecil
