Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 14, 2018 Author Staff Share Posted December 14, 2018 Question on Move-in custom:-- Hi Master Lee, good morning. I'm moving in tomorrow. May I ask: I'm referring to the handbook u shared: 1. if i not bringing a charcoal stove, a piece of charcoal wrap in red paper ok as well? Do i need to keep this piece of charcoal in the house? 2. the items such as pineapple, fa gao etc, after bring in house, put at stove? When can discard if not eating? 3. if i following religious procedures from parents to burn the gold paper, these praying items to put in house before move in? As in don't bring when move in? Reply:- 1. if not bring. then no need piece of charcoal. But make sure that tomorrow the actual kitchen stove must be used. Can be boil water or cook something 2. Pineapple can anytime consume. Such as keep in the fridge and makan anytime. Fa Gao if it is new and edible, each family member just get a small bite. and can throw away. but if it does not look appertising then two or three days later throw, throw 3. Can do so. But becareful of smoke detectors around. Such things based on common sense as no bible or procedures for these

Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 6, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted March 6, 2019 Burn incense not compulsory right? (Newly TOP CONDO UNIT) Response: If you are non religious. no need. Anyway, if so, better check with them (Developers representative/facilitator/MA) where to burn. Because, outside the corridor of all unit lobbies got such thing as a smoke detector. If need to burn, then inside your unit and close doors. No need for most people. Other than the religious fanatic
Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 6, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted March 6, 2019 hi master, do the kids need to be around when we move in? Frankly, this is based on common sense For example if the children are schooling.. and if move in is on a weekday, poor excuse to ask children to absentee from school. Or if the children has an important exam etc... on that day.

Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 23, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted November 23, 2019 Hi Robert, With reference to the house move-in procedures posted on your website, " CHARCOAL - A red charcoal stove (Optional) - A charcoal (representing gold) wrapped in Red paper. One can bring this in and need not light it up. But if one wants to light up, then do it before the auspicious time. And bring in the red charcoal stove into the house. In this option, the stove has to be kept permanently in the house e.g. kitchen cabinet and must not throw it away.(Optional) An alternative is to light up the charcoal red-hot and when it is time, transfer the charcoal from the outside of the house to the kitchen stove-top. " 1) Does it mean that charcoal stove is optional but charcoal wrapped in red paper is needed? 2) There is no need for" light up the charcoal red-hot and when it is time, transfer the charcoal from the outside of the house to the kitchen stove-top.", right? Thanks! Reply: 1. Optional. If no charcoal stove, charcoal wrapped in red paper is also not needed. This is because, when time to keep the charcoal stove, good to place wrapped charcoal on top of the stove. 2. Nowadays more and more skip this for safety reasons. And also for ECs or condos, there is a smoke detector outside each lift lobby at the common area
