Hi Anon, If you have some rock garden landscaping, you can still benefit from activating the mountain star. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
-
Dear Henrietta, Cecil will be reviewing this for you as he is currently doing your house analysis. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
-
Dear Regina, 1. This sector is generally balanced on its own. For this year in particular, you can add additional cure to reduce any influence of the bad yearly star 5 for additional safeguard. 2. Since the bad yearly star is star 5, then it a windchime is more ideal here. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Joan, 1. If this is a landed property, then normally you should take the facing of the house which is South East 2. 2. Do check the layout vs the star numbers. Since, period 8 star chart is also not as fantastic. The only advantage here is the water star #8 is located at the frontage, while the mountain star is located at the back of the house. Otherwise, there is no really other incentive other than this two to fly to this period. Since many other sectors are not as good. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Vincent, 1. Our report does shows you as a Yin Wood person as your Heavenly Stem of the DAY is Yi. http://www.geomancy.net/online/hsnew_yi.gif Check your ba zi chart and you should also see this in the Heavenly Stem of the day. 2. However, what you do not understand here is that Yin DOES NOT mean that that person is a WEAK. Neither do Yang mean that that person is STRONG. Yin can also have Weak or Strong Yin and Yang can also have Weak or Strong Yang. So it does not mean that because your heavenly stem of the Day is Yi (Yin Wood), that you are automatically a Weak wood person. 3. Whether or not you are a weak or strong person, is ultimately determined by several other factors such as seasons of birth, number of elements in your chart as well as clashes and combinations. Only when you know this portion, will you be able to know for sure if you are a Weak Yin Wood or Strong Yin Wood person. Our report determined you are a Strong Yin Wood person simply because you have 31% of your favourable elements compared to 22% unfavourable element. So because you have more favourable then unfavourable, you are a Strong Yin Wood person. 4. So point here is that:- - Yin Wood IS NOT EQUAL to Weak Wood - Yang Wood IS NOT EQUAL to Strong Wood Yin and Yang can both be Stronger Yin or Weaker Yin as well as Strong Yang or Weaker Yang. That is why there is the Yin and Yang Symbol which present as follows:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-yinyang.htm 5. Also, you need to understand that if you do not do a comprehensive ba zi analysis by considering all factors that goes into determining whether you are a weak or strong person, then the person doing your calcuation will determine your chart differently. For example, say if a combination was not considered which convert 3 of your earthly branch from say wood to fire, and you are a weak wood which needs wood, but because of the combination that took place, you no longer have wood presence and thus, this makes you weaker. So if such consideration are not taken into consideration, you get different ba zi element result. Meaning that before such combination took place your chart may be considered a Strong Wood, but because of the combination it became a weak Wood. So such issues can cause a big difference in analysis. Our free report (though free), does all these analysis as comprehensively as the paid report. Just that in the free report we do NOT show you all the details and only show you 1 favourable and 1 unfavourable element to avoid. But anyway, you are strong because you ultimately have more favourable elements then unfavourable. 6. As mentioned different masters / consultant may not do a comprehensive or use different analysis tools to analysis so results may be different. You are highly advised to follow advice from a single master/consultant which you feel comfortable with. And you should NEVER mix advises from two different person as you will not know what theories or concept where used to advise you. Reason I say this that even for ba zi, there are so many different issues such as people applying timezone difference, or even breaking up Zi hour into earlier or later Zi, etc. All these different controversial issues, will cause different person to use analysis a ba zi differently. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee Geomancy.Net - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Ivan, If the analysis is done correctly in full detail, considering all clashes and combination as in our Ba Zi Premium, then that kind of chart to me will be considered unbalanced. And more of a type of chart where there likely more health issues then normal. Each unbalanced element will relate to certain body part like fire is heart and brain etc. However, if it is not done properly or there are analysis missing, then it will be hard to say. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee I am My birth data Wood=0 Water=-18 Fir Ivan A. Parra

Dear Joan, 1. In general, one have to look at the core skills in a particular job. For example, if the secretary does lots of coordinations, then often this may involve wood element. 2. If the secretary is involved highly in PR or customer relations (internal or external customers), this area has to do with fire element. 3. The industry relates to Earth as especially since paper comes from trees and from the earth. However, a sub-category is the wood element since paper is literal wood. 4. In the past, a butcher is a butcher, and a merchant is an merchant. But nowadays, a butcher may use a computer etc. So multi-skilling in often involved in all jobs. So it is very difficult to just fix one particular element for each career. For example, although, a secretary may do coordination, but some secretary may need to use their mouth or PR (reflect on the your boss image), while others secretary have to do word processing. So word processing comes under water element. Therefore, if you were to do lots of typing etc, then in the ba zi being strong Water, then it isn't the ideal choice. 5. In the case of the bedroom, the shapes and form placement of the bed is equally important. There is no way to be to get everything perfect. Of course it is ideal or nice to have your bed or sleeping direction in the best direction, but most of the time it you have to compromise with other more important analysis. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear John, This has more to do with one man's meat is another man's poison. This is because even if you want to apply numerology, there are so many different formulas / rulesets etc. In addition, to the Chinese, apply phonetic sound-like to say whether the number is good or bad. This is especially true for numbers like 4, 44. To some perhaps 59 is ok, for others the additional 0 doesn't seem to be good. Actually, what matters most is since you or your partners are really going into business. In terms of numbers, see if any of them are neutral or adverse to it. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Fiona, 1. For situation for pearl string and parent string or whatever, it is always best to match the layout to the flying star chart. For example, key numbers like #8 mountain and water should be in an appropriate sector. Therefore, ideally as many sectors can be activated for the pearl string to benefit from it. This is where hopefully, good sectors are not locked at toilets / storeroom etc. Thus, this kind of charts must specifically be located at the rooms most beneficial. The saying goes " a miss is as good as a mile " 2. You will still have to cure the star 2, 5 etc. The difference is that the pearl string combination is all about enhancement but this does not mean that bad sectors does not need to be cured. 3. In each period, the each of the period, the reigning number ie in period 8, stars 8 are most auspicious, while the number just below becomes the fading prosperity. So in this case star 8 in period 8 are excellent. In addition, star 9 is the future prosperity. 4. And it so happens that star 7 reverts back to its original status of being Robbery Star. Thus, that is why most people say that star 7 might have more issues. 5. In additions, stars like #4 which is often considered inauspicious by many practitioners in period 7, becomes a better star between mix-blessing to auspicious. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Carina, Frankly, as you mentioned since you are unable to put wind chime or something to block it. Hopefully, your chair is with a high backing to help block off some of the Sha Qi. Alternatively, is it possible to have another cabinet to extend the corner push sha qi further away. Otherwise, not much else you can do. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee regards, carina tien

Dear Desmond, 1. The most important for a house is that the main door must be suitable for the breadwinner. Less important for the other members of the family members. For them it is more important that their bedroom is suitable to them. It is alright that their main door isn't as suitable to each family. As for them luck comes more from the bedroom sector they stay in. 2. It depends. Your description is too vague for us to comment. 3. Owner should actually stay in the master bedroom whenever possible. This is based on symbolisming on feng shui. 4. There are so many different concept. In particular, where are you sleeping now. Where you sleep have an impact on you. So if it still auspicious for you, then the overall impact will be lesser. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Nghe Kwang, You may like to consider applying flying star feng shui to check on these two locations. As mentioned, in previous messages, your "Cai Wei" or wealth position can either be the activation of either a mountain or water star in particularly for period 8 star 8. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi Anon, 1. If there is no favourable view, then simple thing like a day curtain or blinds will help to screen it. And as the saying goes if you cannot see it, it is not a threat. 2. Alternatively, check your eight house to see if you can sit facing in particular your prosperity or excellent sector which may not necessary be this current table placement. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Sualeha, You should instead check whether (truely or not) if really under period 8 (flying star) whether there is/are #8 or double 8 at this sector. If it is not, how did you come about that this is the prosperity? If this prosperity is based on eight house, then you can look at other schools to improve your situation. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Rory, It is good to find out more about the 3 Step approach. 1. Please try to do a SEARCH for " three-step " to understand more about what Eight House Concept can or cannot do. Clue: It is better to use other theory then just Eight House on such an analysis. Especially on analysis on this areas. 2. Eight House has more to do with how suitable a house is to breadwinner, suitable facing direction as well as if you are spending time at a specific sector. Otherwise, if you do not spend time in the sector then it is not so much of an concern. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Joan, 1. Usually, flooring of this nature has more to do with the ideal of "Health" and "Relationship" or whatever. 2. Often, parquet with or without it being considered good or bad, is much favoured then hard cool floor tile. This is because, wood is a very poor conductor. And the ideal here is that for those who sleep on the floor (floor mat), or if one just wake up and step on the floor tile it is not cold as compared to ceramic floor tile. 3. Therefore, for the Chinese, the parquet flooring is preferred in a bedroom condition. *joke* Hopefullly, the home is never near termite infested area else it is pure enjoyment for the termites. 4. For relationship, there are a few considerations. Once is to find the ba zi binding element between the two parties and/or in the flying star make sure that locations ones spend time in does not have star 3 or star 4 which affects relationships. Here it is good to neutralise it. 5. Activating Mountain Star. In particular under period 8, check to see if you can activate the mountain star such as star 8 or star 9. This is supposed to help improve relationship / networking / health. 6. In addition, try to apply the holy trinity, in particular human / man luck. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Alice, 1. Yang Water usually refers to the use of real water like Water fountain or fish tank. 2. Yin Water usually refers to placing 6 coins into a 1.5 litres plastic bottle like an empty bottle of coca cola / pepsi etc. 3. Here firstly 6 coins is placed into this plastic container and plain water is poured full into the container and the bottle cap is closed. This is place at the specific corner. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Joan, 1. This is a common sense feng shui approach to feng shui. Image this, for example if someone it not familiar with the home, or if you lack concentration, or if there is a black out etc. Normally, that place where you come up and down the passage way should be a clear space to avoid getting knock when you through it. This is especially if you have children or someone falling down from the stair case. So in such cases you will hit the table. 2. Just make sure that at least there is sufficient light around that area or the sufficient space to walk. That is about all you can do. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Joan, Here basically keeping the toilet door will reduce any influence. But again this isn't a very major issue to be too worried with. Please check one more recent posting on similiar topic, not sure if it was by you. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Maria, 1. Usually, the worst scenario is when you open the toilet door is where you can virtually see it from the dining table. If it is just an opening to the toilet, then it is not as bad. But the only way is keep the toilet door close especially if you have toilet bowl you can see directly from the dinning table. This is usually the only solution for such a situation not really going to be anything much you can do. Hope that help. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Henrietta, Please do a search on "Salt Water" and you should be able to find several previously posted info by Cecil in the forum. The forum contains an archive of lots of answers and a search can help you find them. This answer is also found if you search for "Yin Water Cure". Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Julie, 1. Usually, if you are able to hire a competent practitioner you may be able to tilt the door to one of your favourable directions. This is killing two birds with one stone ie. from inauspicious sector to a good facing direction favourable to the person's ba zi. 2. Alternatively, on this same issue, there could be a possibility you can use another door that is more suited. 3. But, this is not the worst case scenario, where it is at the death or disaster sector. 4. In addition, you might like to see if you improve other areas using shapes and forms and compass school feng shui to improve your luck further. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Gary, Glad you enjoy our website http://www.geomancy.net/wbimages/smiles/icon_razz.gif 1. Under the water classic, when water can be seen flowing gently towards the house/office is generally auspicious. 2. If if water can be seen from the house/office flowing outwards, then it is no good. Then it is that it is a covered drain which can hide it. 3. If water flows out from the back it is also not good. This is all under the water classic concepts. 4. It depends. Your description is not clear so unable to comment here as I am unable to really visualise what you are describing. 5. This again depends. There are so many factors:- a. like how big or deep is the canal b. how fast is the flow of the water c. Yang water and Yin Water. Under this point, you have to see if the water flow from right to left of your home/office or left to right. As this has an indication as the type of water. d. Exactly is it parallel, or does it cut in etc. So it is very difficult to tell you as different situation may mean different issues. 6. All these kind of shapes and forms question, there is not true right or wrong or exact answers. It is best to be physically there to do a proper assessment so as to see whether it is good or bad. Just like the above water classic, if the road cut into the office then it is likely to be inauspicious then auspicious. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear James, 1. Always in situation where you cannot alter or change your eath luck, then you have to follow the holy trinity concept, where you try to increase as much of your other Heaven or Human Luck as opposed to your Earth Luck. 2. This means that you can at least ensure that you are always having your favourable elements as defined in the ba zi and try to improve your heaven luck. 3. Or at least improve your Human Luck, where you need to keep a positive work attitue, good work ethics, being confident etc. So as to make sure that you remain a valuable asset to your company. 4. For example, where we compare life with that of Nelson Mandela who was imprison for so many years and when we think about this, our life isn't as suffering as these people. http://www.geomancy.net/wbimages/smiles/icon_wink.gif Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
