Generally, it is not very good to have the bedroom door open out directly into the front door. So few things you can do is keep your door close or to have some kind of partition which blocks the chi from going from the main door directly into the bedroom, it should be allowed to circulate the living room etc before it goes out of the house. As for your best sleeping direction, you can make use of the Bed and Bedroom position free report found in the My FengShui (http://login.geomancy.net) and see where is the best placement for your bed / bedroom position. Sometimes you may have not much chooce for the placement as your bedroom is limited in size, so if you cannot adjust your bed. Just make sure that at least you are sleeping in the bedroom which is favourable to you and if you are the breadwinner to have the house hopefully in one of your 4 good directions based on the Eight House report. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Sheridan, For example, if you are a strong Wood, then the few colours that are good for you are based on your favourable elements. Favaourable Colours for strong Wood is Fire and Metal, so colours are red, white / gold. For example. So you have to use the Pillars of Destiny report in the My FengShui website (http://login.geomancy.net) to help you determine your true birth element. Well, few things you can do. Using the Eight House Report where you will determine all your 4 good and 4 bad directions try to face in the directions which are your 4 good directions. This will bring you good luck especially if you can face in your Prosperity or Excellent direction. Next thing you can do is to create favourable elements which help your birth element using the colours of the work area or shapes of objects or background object which are your favourable elements. These will help in ways to make you feel better and bring you in harmony. Hope that helps Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Harry, Please use the Free Pillars of Destiny Limited Report found in the My FengShui (http://login.geomancy.net) to help you determine that. Since such tools are readily available, please use them to help you. This will save a lot of time for everyone, allow us to help users explain analysis rather than calculating the results for them. Dear Shriram, Please use the free report at:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports The two reports:- a. Find out what your 4 good & 4 bad directions? b. Finding your personal element? Report a. will tell you whether North is one of your 4 good direction or 4 bad directions. If it is your good direction, then on a general note the house suits you very well. Otherwise if it is your bad direction, then it is not good for you. Especially if the bad is Death or Disaster which is most unfavourable to you. Report b. will tell you your birth element. Eg. wood person. Given North house facing is Water element. Water produces Wood, so it is good for a wood person. Please use the free tools available to help you and not simply post a message expecting us to do an analysis for you. We will help you in explanating areas you do not understand, but will not do the analysis for you when there are tools available that already does it for you. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Shelly, Sorry, I don't understand here why you must counter the Metal. Even if you are say a weak wood, it is not necessary to be so specific and get rid of all Metal objects. You will need a little of all elements in your life (good or bad elements). What you need is to balance everything else. This means that for example if you are a weak wood. Then simply enhance yourself by wearing more Water based element colour that will help offset the balance. If you are refering to East bing Wood element direction or influence, and that the Metal will disturb it, I think you have nothing to worry as the objects when compared to directional influence, is of no great importance or threat as it occupies a small area in the room. Not necessary to counter everything. In what you have mentioned below, I personally do not see why you need to move the sets away. Usually when we do something in Feng Shui it is for a specific purpose. However, normally cures are placed in such a way it will be sufficient to create a balance without having to remove the problem at all. Everything should be able to co-exist together with a little of what I call a "binding" element. I think before you do anything, you must really know what and why you are doing it. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Angeline, Well, in order to know this you have to understand how the Flying Star works and know how to analyse the details of the numbers. It is best to use the anlaysis from teh Flying Star report if you are not sure how to do it yourself. Generally, you have to relate the two MS and WS and then later to the base star to know whether the sector is good or bad, and not simply just based on one or two star numbers that are found in the sector. For example if the sector is 656 then the sector is not so bad even with the star 5. However, if it is 528 then you will be in a lot more trouble. At this point, the easiest way is to apply a little of your Five element knowledge to the numbers to at least give you some understanding of the relationship. You can do that, as that is part of the analysis method, in addition you need to know the Nine Stars explanation as well as th 81 unique interpretation to tell for sure whether the sector is good or bad. However, if you understand the Five Element properly, you should be able to deduce whether the sector is good or bad. However, if you are really unsure, please use the Flying Star report to assist you. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Yes, you see most of the problems stars are usually Wood or Earth. Metal is thus the most commonly used cure for either of the Wood or Earth cure. This is not necessary. It does not mean that at all. You can have the existing items in place such as Plants. Because in one way of looking at it Plants are wood. In the Five element relationship, Wood does also help to destroy Earth. Although, the more recommended cure is Metal because the problem star 2 or 5 is usually of Strong Earth, and Metal is the best to exhaust suchh elements. So it does not mean that you should remove all Wood elements in the sector. Simply adding the Metal cure will help to balance the sector. Usually, if there is a Triple Combination, you can ignore the use of any cure, because the sector itself has the necessary stars to combat the problem. But there is no harm if you wish to add a little more cure based on the suggested problems as sometimes when the yearly star comes into the sector the influence may be out of balance again. So far we find that the 6 metal coins tied with red string or placed on a red packet is rather effective, simply because the number 6 represent Strong Metal. While the coins is Metal which adds further strength to the Metal element. The red thread or red packet is Fire element which helps to destroy Metal which in this case Metal is considered Strong Metal, so it helps to control and bind the Metal from being overly strong. So because of this is considered the most effective cure as compared to using say 6 rod wind chime which brings in other side effects etc. Simply, the more effective is to have the Chinese coin the circle coin with Square in the middle as it allows a red thread to be tied through it. However, if you can't find it simply get 6 coins of same value and size and place them on a red packet. This will do just fine. You can put the metal vase as it is Metal represented but when compared to the significance of the traditional cure, it is less effective. Actually, the report does not specify that you have to remove your existing plants. Yes, when it meant that there is a strong presents of Wood, it does not mean that your plants have to go. Plants are two element based, Wood and Earth. So it is not considered 100% wood element. All you need to do is simply to create balance in the house by adding what is recommended to the house. That will do. Hope that helps:)

Dear Madi, Micro Flying Star is when Flying Star is applied to a smaller area such as the House or a room only. Macro Flying Star is when Flying Star is applied to the Exterior surrounding of the House taking into account the House as an object as compared to just analysing the house itself. Hope that helps. Regarding this Analysis of the Grand Duke 2001 by Zheng Dan. Most of the analysis are correct as he as based it on the Ba Zi Feng Shui concepts of the clashes / Harms / Punishments which occurs between each of the 12 animal signs. This is just another good example of how powerful Ba Zi Feng Shui can be. Usually, any clash / harms / punishments will often result in some problem unless of course there are sometimes "good clashes" / "good harms" / "good punishments". Though often, most of the clashes are usually bad unless they help to reduce the unfavourable elements. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Translated Chinese Article written by Zheng Dan:- " This Snake Year (2001) has Four Major Animal Sign / Earthly Branches offends the Grand Duke (Tai Sui). " This Snake Year sees many animal signs offending the Grand Duke due to the Snake Year which is represented by its "si" Earthly Branch under the Pillars of Destiny. They are the Pig/Boar, Tiger, Snake and Monkey animal signs. There are three categories of Grand Duke:- (i) Direct Conflict with Grand Duke (Zhi Tai Sui) Snake is in Direct Conflict with Grand Duke, meaning that this year will result in making rash and/or irrational decisions and/or actions. The character "Zhi" represents harm / danger, with temper in such a way that once you blow up there is no way to stop or correct your mistake. Usually the Grand Duke is in motion. However, during the Direct Conflict with Grand Duke the stars does not move much. Because of this it causes a unnatural influence creating problems. Besides the Snake animal sign that is in conflict, those whose surnames bears Guo, Yang, Wu, Xu, Zheng are also in conflict, plus those who names contains ya-something etc. (Please refer to the actual Chinese characters for accuracy) (ii) Clash with Grand Duke (Chong Tai Sui) The most severe clash is the Pig/Boar. This is because the Year of the Snake clash with Pig ("si" clash with hai"). This is because of the hidden stem "geng" (Metal) in the "si" (Snake) destroys the "jia" (Wood) in the "hai" (Pig/Boar), and "wu" (Earth) controls "ren" (Water), making "hai" (Pig/Boar) lose its balance and fall down. This results in changes for the Pig, such as moving house, migration, changing jobs and feeling nervous of changes. Rather unlucky and likely to have lots of health problems, and traffic accidents. Pig/Boar is represented by "hai". Because of the Chinese characters on the left of the word Pig/Boar (in chinese) looks similiar to the word "jia" (Family), and the character "hai" is part of the right hand side of the character "hai" (Children), thus it means that Family and Children also clash with the Grand Duke. Surnames such as Wu, Xie, Gua also clash Grand Duke, plus a few specific names such as ya bao, ya cheng, ya shou etc (Please refer to the actual Chinese characters for accuracy) (iii) Punishment with Grand Duke (Xing Tai Sui) Tiger Animal Sign is in Punishment with Grand Duke. while Monkey is in one of the 6 join combination with Snake, therefore is not a serious Punishment combination, but it must try to counter the Grand Duke to bring luck. Punishment with Grand Duke means many obstructions, bringing gossips or lawsuits related problems, therefore much prevent. Surnames Hui, Zhang, He are also in punishment, plus names like ya guang, ya dian, ya chao etc. (Please refer to the actual Chinese characters for accuracy) The method to cure / counter Grand Duke is to add a Grand Duke Tablet in your Home's Ancestor / Worship Altar or simply worship to Grand Duke for forgiveness. " Worship Grand Duke on the 8 day of the Chinese Lunar New Year " In this Snake Year:- (i) Pig/Boar sign is in Clash with Grand Duke (ii) Snake sign is in Direct Conflict with Grand Duke (iii) Tiger and Monkey who is in Punishment with Grand Duke Monkey who forms a 6 join combination with snake is the least serious of the four animal signs. Those born in 1935, 1950, 1959, 1968, 1977, 1986, 1995 are regarded as Grand Duke Followers should avoid seeking the source of illness problems. Those who offends grand duke need not worry. China has a culture / method to cure Grand Duke offenders. Besides worshipping or praying to the Grand Duke for forgiveness, you can reduce the problems by praying to the grand duke on the 8 day of the Chinese Lunar New Year between morning 7 to 9 and from afternoon 5 to 7. Dear Kathlee, It is only bad when placed in locations where there is inauspicious flying star (which will create more inauspicious influence). It is also bad for bedroom when the mirror can be seen when you are say lying on the bed or when you get out of the bed. This is partially due to the "shock" you may get when you first get up still not awake. Seeing an image of yourself can create a shock which is bad for yourself. Otherwise, having a mirror which is used say when dressing or inside the wardrobe hidden when not in used is not really an issue. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi Bharat Mayani, Generally, your problem here is regarding door facing each other. Well, generally for such situation most of the only cures you can use is really to put a bagua on the door. However, personally what exactly are problems you have with your current situation? Is it that you often have conflicts with your neighbour? It looks to me like the neighbour is basically not around most of the time. So what other problems are you actually facing? If there is nothing, then basically nothing much to worry about. There is a saying that goes if nothing is broken do not try to fix it. If you facing problems with areas such as financial or sickness then, you should look more within the house. So unless you have a specific problem to solve personally don't really know how or what to advice you on. But based on what you have provided, you need to cure only when you have problems with your neighbour otherwise you can leave it. Hope that helps:) Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi Henry, Generally a wind chime should have hung on the outside rather than inside. However, please take note about wind chimes as different number or rods or the type of materials the rods are made of can greatly have an impact if hung at the wrong location of the house. Usually wind chimes can be used as a cure to cure different problems. But if hung at wrong locations where the elements are not needed etc, may cause more problems than good. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi, Generally, you should not have any object blocking your main door, as it will divert or split away the Qi (C'hi) from flowing into the house through the main door. Also, if you can see the threat it is often considered a poison arrow. However, may I ask how long have you moved into the house. And whether since you move in did you encounter any problems? One way to see if the tree is really bad or not is to see if you have any major problems (sickness, accident etc.) Also wether or not you should cut down the tree also depends very much on whether it helps you block other more dangerous poison arrow. For example if there a street lamp behind the tree, then the tree actually helps you block the Sha Qi from the lamp post. You should check out the surrounding after the tree to see if there are any other such more dangerous poison arrow. In another way to look at it, having a tree direction in front of the main door is not very good due to say if a lighting strikes onto the tree and it collapse, there is a high chance it will fall onto the house, thus not very good either. But you have to decide to see if there are any other poison arrow it helps to deflect before you decide whether to cut it down or not. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi, Well, the problems you have seems to be from either some lacking in elements in your Pillars chart which is why you got such sickness. And it could also be increased with the association of certain unfavourable elements which you should avoid or the house in which you stay in also contain sickness (2/5 stars) which may worsen the problem. Generally black funitures represents water element. It will be bad to you if you are a strong water, weak Fire, weak Metal person etc. Basically, at this stage where I do not have much details (eg. true birth element, house chart etc) from you nor any analysis of your home etc. It is difficult to advice you or help you identify the problem. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Rose, Generally, for house number there is very little you can do as I believe no one can just change a number just like that. However, from what you have described, it would seem that the Flying Star of your house at one of the key sectors (either main door, bedroom where you and your husband sleep, or a room where you and your husband spends a great deal of time in) contains combinations of two stars which results in robbery etc. Generally, in order to cure the problem you need to know what is the cause. Without it, it is difficult to advice you how to cure the problem or make improvements to the home. If the problems lies with the Flying star applying the suggested cures to the problem sectors does help. In addition to Feng Shui, you should also check to see whether other security aspect of the house is secured. Eg. basic stuff like keeping the door lock etc. Feng Shui can help but it is not a miracle cure by itself. In addition, the neighbourhood you moved in does it often have this problem? If so, well even how well you protect it, some day similiar incident might happen again. Generally, as weak metal, you will be able to given either other strength. That is a plus point (provided that weak metal are your true elements). But also take note that spouse with the same element may also occasional create competition with each other due to similar element characteristics. As for the clashes, where is the clash located. There is a difference. If the clash occurs in the day or year, these are a little more to be concerned with. Generally everyone will have some clashes with each other's pillars chart as there are after all 8 different characters being analysed with another 8 different characters. So we are usually concerned more with the day and year clash. Usually a binding element will help to resolve most of the clashes. But of course in any relationship there is bound to be some ups and downs, you cannot expect to have smooth sailing all the way. Generally, for weak metal the binding element would be earth. So having more earth will help reduce the fiction if any. (This is taking that both elements are weak if one is weak and another is strong metal, then the binding cure will be different). Hope that helps.

Hi Kaushal, Generally, you are refering to the fact that your house has a base star forming the Luo Shu square where adding the numbers from each of the direction gives you 15. Yes, I have not doubt that your chart looks like a luo shu square. And it does have number combination influence. However, Flying Star is not so simple as to just looking at the numbers of the base star. It is even more important to understand the interactions of the Flying Star when encountered with two important stars that constantly fly around the base star every 20-year and yearly. The monthly and daily stars are often not so important as quite difficult and also not to mentioned tedious to work out cures for each month and day. Whether or not a cure needs to be applied for each sector, will depends on the interaction of the three stars in each sector. Also, in any case, the influence of each direction of the sector is still NOT balance even in a Luo Shu combination. Eg. 1 4 7 is auspicious, but 2 5 8 is not exactly very auspicious for example. So the auspcious aspect is only the fact that it follows the luo shu pattern. However, it does not mean that you have triple combinations. Usually triple combinations is where you have elements such as combinations that flow, directional combination etc. In a luo shu layout only the numbers add up. But the elements in the direction of that follows does not. Also whether or not you continue to enjoy the auspicious influence of the house solely depends on whether you have made any major renovation to that place since it was built. For example, if the house was built in period 5, was any major renovation made in period 6/7? If so the house chart no longer takes the period 5 chart and the influence of the house is entirely altered. So generally, there is no such thing as eternal lifespan. There is only when you leave the house unchanged. Meaning that a house built in period 7 with good stars will continue to be good throughout the other periods. However, will change when a major renovation was done. Basically, what you have done is NOT considered a Flying Star reading, but rather the flying of the Nine Stars (or the Purple-White stars for the 9 sectors/palaces). Until you chart out and analyse the impact (81 combinational impact, Five element analysis of each sector and other flying star analysis). What you have is does not really tell you much. Personally, a really auspicious house is where you have the main door for example (double 7 in period 7 or double 6 in period 6 etc). And that at least 5 of the sectors are found to be good or excellent sectors of the house. It is not possible to get every sector good but to get 5-7 sectors out of 9 sectors being good sectors is considered an EXCELLENT house. If not, you cannot consider the house excellent. Most average houses have about has usually about 1-3 good sectors only. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi Joey, You might want to investigate the matter more using the Eight House Report or Flying Star report to see what's going on. If the problem lies with the Eight House, you can try to reposition your beds into better directions. If the problem lies with the house Feng Shui itself, then you will likely need to apply cures to the sector depending on what are the problems stars in that area. Please see my above recommendations for removing the mirror, closing the bedroom door or adding some screens to block it. Otherwise, without other details, it is difficult to advice you on other solutions. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi Miss Quiss, So long as it is not Death or Disaster under your Eight House Report and that you really like this house, then just make sure that the bedroom you stay in is in a good sector to help you offset the problems from the unsuitability. Since suitability of the house is the issue here, I am afraid there isn't much you can do even if other areas are good. Especially since you mentioned here that you cannot even find a bedroom which is good. This makes the house even more unsuitable. So my advice is best not to rush into getting this house, there are always other better one to come as you search longer. Hope this reaches you in time. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Start Here:- == Older Resources == 1. Why Ba Zi Life Reading is essential in applying Feng Shui? A person's luck is influenced by 3 forms of luck:- a) Heaven Luck - Luck you are born with and supposed to have from your given Ba Zi Heaven Luck. b) Earth Luck - Luck from the Feng Shui of your home and surrounding. c) Human Luck - Luck from your relationship with others and own hard work. Each luck influence about 33.3% of your overall luck. Hence, knowing how you relate to your environment and the changes in the 10-yearly / 5-yearly / yearly / 6-monthly / monthly / daily / hourly luck can allow you to better take advantage of your overall luck. 2. Ba Zi Life Reading helps you determine your True Element (ie weak water/Strong Wood etc) Reference: https://www.geomancy.net/demoreports/ba_zi_premium/bazi_premium_expert_review_report.pdf In our Ba Zi Life Reading, this is Five Element Breakdown section, is to the most useful and important section in the entire ba zi. Why? 2.1. Your True Element (ie weak Fire/Strong Fire), determines your favourable elements and unfavourable elements. In the above example, this person lacks Fire (9%) and Wood (12%). This person also has way too much Water (46%) and Earth (31%), so you want to avoid more of those since they are your unfavourable elements. Metal element is by default unfavouable to a weak Fire person, but as there is too little at 0%, some Metal when there is enough Fire and Wood is good for overall balance. The goal is to get 20% of each of the five elements. 2.2. Five element can determine your favourable Colors/Shapes/Directions/Career etc. You can refer to this useful Five Element Characteristics Chart:- URL: https://talk.geomancy.net So for example, a weak fire person:- 2.2.1. Improve your overall luck with Colours Would like to have more Fire (red/purple) colors or Wood (green/brown) colors for clothings you wear, colours of personal objects you own, colours of the car you drive, colours of the Home/Office decor should be in such colors. 2.2.1. Improve your career luck by choosing suitable career/business In terms of career, Fire element careers (ie are Sales and Marketing etc), Wood (Distribution, Engineering, Electronics etc) 2.2.2. Improve your luck by choosing a suitable house facing or suitable country of work Fire (South), or Wood (East/South-East) facing house. Or even if you deciding if you should better work in a certain country Wood (East - China / South-East - South-East Asia Country ie Singapore) etc. 2.2.3. Improve your Ba Zi Luck through a suitable Chinese Name Reference: Learn More about Chinese Name at our Chinese Name Blog Especially for newborn child, you can improve the person's ba zi luck by balancing the five elements through picking the most suitable Chinese Name that contains most Fire or Wood elements. This is why people do a comprehensive Ba Zi Life Reading Review, as it helps them plan their career/business path (such as deciding between this career and that new career to see which is most suitable), whether they should work in this country or that country. Especially, for newborn baby, this is essential to picking the most suitable Chinese Name to help balance their five element since a Chinese Name will be with them for the rest of their life. 2.3. Ba Zi chart's out a person's Luck Forecast Reference: https://www.geomancy.net/demoreports/ba_zi_premium/bazi_premium_part3_report.pdf Luck changes every 10-yearly / 5-yearly / yearly / 6-monthly / monthly / daily / hourly. This is why there are ups and downs in your luck as it keeps changing as you enter different luck periods. So knowing when are the good and bad periods, you can better plan utilise the good and be extra careful of the bad periods. 2.3.1. Knowing when is a good period helps you plan when is the best time to change a career / start a business to maximise your luck. This is essential, especially for example, say you plan to change a career or start a business, you probably want to pick the better luck period where luck is with you to do it. As things are more likely to go in your favour if luck is with you. While, if it's a bad period, then you want to exercise caution by not doing this too aggressively. 2.3.2. Through the luck forecast, it helps you identify potential Health/Money/Finance/Romance/Nobleman luck etc. Years with a Health warning usually indicate either Health issues or possible accidents. Years with Money/Finance indicate years that have potential issues especially relating to career/business etc. Years with Romance indicate when are good/bad periods for romance relation luck etc. Years with Nobleman Luck will help you through the tough time especially if it's a bad year. 3. Avoid using Ba Zi for Fortune Telling aspects 3.1. While ba zi can also be used for Fortune Telling, it's recommended that you avoid it. As fortune telling can sometimes cause Self Fulfilling Prophecy, where you believe in it so much that you yourself make it happen. 3.2. A Ba Zi can chart what kind of luck you are supposed to have, however it's not a chart of what you will encounter. So it's wrong to believe that a Ba Zi Chart's prediction is supposed to match exactly what you have experienced in your past history. As I have indicated above in Para 1, a person's luck is influenced by 3 form of luck Heaven, Earth and Human Luck. 3.3.1. So essentially, ba zi only affects 33.3% of your overall luck. This means that whenever a person's ba zi luck is determined to be very good, if he / she stays in a bad feng shui house, this can have adverse affect to your luck as the earth luck affects 33.3% of your luck as well, which will result in you experiencing a very bad period. 3.3.2. The reverse is also true. A person that is determined to have a bad luck, but if he stays in an excellent feng shui house, it will significantly improve your luck for the period. This is why ba zi forecast can never predict your past history 100%. However, majority of the events should pretty much fall fairly closely the the forecast.
