  1. If you are doing D.I.Y. Feng Shui, it is best to follow this advise.
  2. Do you think that it is wise to bring your family along to view your potential new home? Is this wise?
  3. If you want to find out more on a specific topic, simply do a search either in this forum or under the main site: www.geomancy-forum.com www.geomancy.net You will almost certainly find out what you want.
  4. A special word from the deity " Longevity ". Please listen closely...
  5. This is article about a ghost and trees. I hope you find it interesting.

  7. Dear Anon, 1. In my opinion, I share the same view as what you had mentioned. 2. Based on observations, I do notice that many Chinese do not display deities like Kwan Imm in closed display shelfs. 3. This is like `imprisoning' the deity. 4. In some of the earlier replies, I have also mentioned:- 4.1. Do not place the statue in the bedroom or on the same wall as the toilet. 4.2. I have not mentioned this but some believers or Feng Shui practitioners do not advise that the statute be placed facing the main entrance door. To these practitioners or believers, it is to them, `disrespectful' to `employ' or `misuse' deities to "guard" your main door. Well, the above are some of the taboos associated with keeping a deity at home... Warmest Regards, Cecil
  8. Ranking by importance is usually one of the best method to determine what is more important.
  9. " May the force be with.... "
  10. Dear Glyn, 1. From what I understand, it does not have anything to do with the planetary line up which occured on Friday. 2. The interesting thing is that it is once a year occurence in Korea. Frankly, I find it quite `scary' to stand at the centre or close to the middle. Although the tide will slowly recide, by imagine if water suddenly pours in and covers it up. Yes, I believe it happens only in a specific period and by chance, it occurred on that day. It may happen, a few days prior to it but this could not be predicted. One must be lucky to be there on the occurence. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  11. Dear Kaushal, 1. Can I check with you: Is it that when you enter the main entrance, you see the staircase or is the staircase facing the main door. 2. If the situation is that when you first enter the main entrance door and see the staircase (inside the house), then: 3. It is best to (if you) can use a partition to block the view. 4. If it is the `second' situation where the staircase faces the main door, then what you do is thus acceptable i.e. placing a mirror to deflect the sha qi. 5. As the impact is on the main door, it implies that Qi is `distrubed' when entering the home. In this senario, where possible, it should be rectified to ensure that life is `smooth'. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  12. Dear H Kt, 1. Thank you for sharing with us the confusion that arises with wind chimes. Plus the various types of wind chimes. 2. Furthermore, there are so many books written on how `effective' it can be used to enhance our lifes. 3. Generally, in life, we should not have any taboos i.e. if we happen to see something we really like go ahead and get it. However, the `confusion' arise usually, when we INTEND to purchase e.g. the wind chime for the sake of improving our luck etc... 4. Here, more often, we may want to purchase more than 1 wind chime or on the advise of some Feng Shui practitioners, place wind chimes at several locations. In my opinion, I have encountered many cases cases before, where, home owners unfortunately, after having followed the advise, came into problems because of such placements. The remedy would be first to remove them and then do a full FS audit ... 5. In my opinion, usually, those who have a love or just enjoy buying it without Feng Shui considerations (fortuantely) do not usually encounter problems. 6. Thus in my opinion, it does not matter if it is a 5 rod wind chime, a wooden / metallic wind chime. If you ask any Feng Shui practitioner today, he or she would not be able to describe to anyone what is the consequence or even the characteristics of a wind chime. For example, you never see a book written with:- Use 5 (hollow rod) wind chime to improve on your career. Use 6 (hollow rod) wind chime to improve your love life. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  13. Dear Kaushal, 1. Salt is commonly used more in western countries or `western' practitioners (not necessary FS practitioners). 2. You can certainly try using salt although it is not `proven' or used widely in Traditional Feng Shui. Warmest Regards, Cecil
