Feng Shui concerns for top floor condo
Cecil Lee replied to Jack Teo's topic in Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)
You wrote: Is it a concern if the owner of the unit has passed on a year ago (although the owner has not stayed in the property for many years but has been renting it out)? Frankly should not be a concern. As Feng Shui is about earth luck. If owner did not stay in the unit, no issue. Is it possible to use feng shui to help to counter the above concerns? All these are not direct Feng Shui issues. How to counter? Check out the 12 Habits of Feng Shui. What are other things that we should look out for? It is so easy to write a one line statement like this. The question is too..... WOW! How about first summarizing your life history in the same one liner? -
Feng Shui concerns for top floor condo
Cecil Lee replied to Jack Teo's topic in Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)
You wrote: How auspicious is it for the main door to face the staircase with door, about 1.5m to 2m apart? How can this be auspicious? Hmm.... Anyway, by law all stair-well doors must be closed at all times. This is because if a fire occurs e.g. at a lower unit, smoke will not flow into the stair-well making it unsafe for people to use this emergency exit. The development may be fined if this is not done. Also, the development is also responsible to make sure that the stair-well is not cluttered with some resident's items kept or thrown into it. -
Feng Shui concerns for top floor condo
Cecil Lee replied to Jack Teo's topic in Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)
Is it auspicious to buy a unit with water leakage from the ceiling (it is a top floor unit)? the agent shared that this happened 1 month ago and they are contacting the management to fix it. By law, it is the responsibility of the condo to repair any water leakages no matter how old the development is. A few years back. A client was looking also at a TOP floor unit for purchase. When we went into the unit, there was traces of leakage. The owner/occupier did not really wanted to mentioned more about. We went up to the emergency stairwell and managed to see a water tank above the unit. From what I believe one possible issue could be the water tank is bolted onto the roof-top. And most likely due to daily expansion and contraction the bolt(s) could have moved. And even if the roof is tar / or water proofed. It is possible due to wear and tear that the leak may occur regularly. What is most concerned is that such leakages may damage what is down under. Such as parquet flooring may be damaged or electrical items around that area. Again 100% the MCST must do the necessary repairs. Talk is easy. But may need time and damage may already been done. -
Attending friend's ROM within one month before my ROM
Cecil Lee replied to TiongCJ's topic in General Help
The Chinese belief is that two auspicious events that are close to each other represents a clash. Resulting to inauspicious luck or 冲喜. Thus in the past people will try to avoid such events that are close to each other. And 1 month between the two events is considered too close for comfort for some. How close or how many days under this is rather subjective. Some have a tendency to quote 100 days. (100 days has more to do with the later. See below.) However, some liberal Chinese argue that they are more concerned if it is/was a traditional wedding date vs ROM. Or rather ROM is just a formality. Since most Chinese only recognise a traditional wedding. Maybe you can check with a grandmother or mum. If they don’t have any issues or rather don’t have the faintest idea, then, it may make you feel at ease. Touchwood! Frankly, Chinese taboos of either marrying within 100 days of a (demise) or 3 years later .. has a higher weight age then the above. Personally, I feel that the younger generation of Chinese like yourself, can dispense with such “ ROM” traditions. -
No choice, you may have to get a contractor to demolish the site. If you are doing other renovations inside your home and employing a main contractor. Take this chance to ask the contractor to help you out.

Sunville Condo at St Michael's Road Site plan

Would you believe that firstly this is not my hand writiing. Secondly it is most likely a previous client's attempt at finding a unit for themselves. I believe you may have to ask that client. That client says: "I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you" MAC, BTW, come find me in Russia. My name is PUT-IN. Yes, I am the butcher of Ukraine. -

Master, good morning, I have question regarding toilet facing. We now have 3 main door: - west door for daughters - southeast door for me & husband - north door (current old door, will be used only for guests) And currently: - daughter toilet is facing the southeast door - our toilet, guest toilet both are facing west door We have heard that toilet is forbidden facing main door. Is that true, Master? Yes, more a taboo, here. Thus yes

Huat Kee Kway Chap $6/- (assorted intestines only) with two bowls of noodles. Very reasonable price. Flavours just right. Not overpowering unlike some others. Very good chilli sauce with a tinge of dried prawns. Not sour, compliments the intestines very well. Killer chilli sauce! Excellent! no smell, just perfect + fresh unlike from some other stalls where there were left to seat for a long time.
