  1. Today, 7th February or 7th day of 1st lunar month. Is considered as everyone’s birthday!
  2. 1. Welcome to the world of common sense Feng Shui! 2. Well isn’t this better. Than going into a “flight of fantasy, unnecessary stress of what if? - hearsay information.” 3. Yeah, and forget about “Nayers” who tend to generalise the negatives without much knowledge.
  3. “Forms (Shapes & Forms) prevail over the stars.” What this simply means is that the forms accounts for 70% of the total consideration. This the bulk of your question depends on this. Thus with or without the parent string, the above holds the major key…
  4. Hi Master Lee, received with much appreciation
  5. Happy New Year to you too! 新年快乐! 万事如意! Source & Credit: Google search results…eg. Of famous Siheyuan.. In Singapore, there is a well preserved Chaozhou county China (Teochew) style house with a central courtyard… Such homes, benefit from good all round circulation of the home. Many period Classical Chinese Kung Fu movies also show many homes with such a concept. In fact, just last two months, saw clients new home having such a “mini” courtyard which brings in light and ventilation to some of the homes… On the contrary, one should be proud to have such a home. Instead of quivering like a “a scathy (scared) cat”. LOL Go tell others.. I have. You have or not?
  6. These are some considerations: 1. The main concern is the sewerage pipe? Under common sense Feng Shui, ideally the sewerage pipe should not be directly above the front door. 1.1. The main reason is that should there be a leak, it will flow downwards... 1.2. Considered a taboo to walk into a home with the sewerage pipe directly above one's head. 2. Not perfect, here. But lesser of a concern e(then above Para 1) even if the toilet is above the front door but often it could be a bath tub or walking area of a toilet. 3. In addition, hopefully the sewerage pipe runs along the wall or perimeter side of the house instead of running parallel to the front door. 4. Here, it is why some generally say no issue with a toilet about the front door. But others saya NO NO. 5. In addition, Flying Star Feng Shui is also used to determine whether a sector is good or bad. For example, if the sector where the front door is location has auspicious wealth luck "stars"; it is a pity to have this wealth luck fall or trapped / wasted at the 2nd storey toilet area. 6. In general, IT DEPENDS! Thus there is no one size fits all.
  7. Happy New Year master. Ask a general question: old flats nowadays their exterior building looks old, never paint, etc... is this bad fengshui compared to brand new flats? I recall that in 1990s, every 5years Town Council paint the outside building. Since 2005 and after 15years i dun see painters come anymore.. Feng Shui is just 33.33%of the total luck. The others are Heaven Luck (individual ba zi) and Man or Human luck. Each also accounts for 33.33% each. Even if Feng Shui may not be affected… but Human or man luck is equally important. As isn’t it great to feel good and equally proud to live in a clean, bright (exterior) home vs a sloppy Aged looking building. And this accounts for also for a whopping 33.33% also!
  8. 1. If the home is not new or rather "born" before e.g. 2004, then the Feng Shui may differ from period to period:- 2. Here, if the 1st owner's luck may be different from the next owners as the years past. Thus by 2021 onwards, the above score can change. 3. Therefore Kua (GUA) is not the MAIN consideration.
  9. Related - Showing examples of how house hunting is done. And why Kua (GUA) is not always the most important considerations.
  10. "You wrote: " We found a nice house" 1. Location, location, location (L x 3) accounts for a whopping 70% of the total Feng Shui score. 2. Often a nice house would mean that the L x 3 may be above average score say at least 50 marks or more onwards.. 3. This thing about Kua (GUA) or how suitable to a person only accounts for the other 30%. In Feng Shui, we call this as "The Three Major Considerations" (Based on Kua (GUA) of the Main breadwinner. 3.1. Thus even if say the Frontage: "He's kua n.3 and I'm kua n.2." Accounts for a miserable 10 marks! " 3.2. The other 20 marks are for: - Master or Main bedroom ? Suitable for whom? 10 marks - Kitchen Location? If it falls under Mrs (or wife's) bad Kua sector), here, add an additional 10 marks!
  11. Frankly, Can’t tell from this statement .
