  1. At Block 324 Bedok Road Prata is acceptable. But the mutton curry gravy is full of small splintered bones, very salty and dry. Even at lunch time; kinda like having indigestion... never again from this stall/shop.
  2. In Food Park...better than the Kimly chain of stalls version
  3. Under Water Classics, it depends: 1. Shape or contour of the river; 2. Flow direction (most of the time); 3. Proximity to the unit (even not visible); 4. Flow rate; Related:
  4. Hi I hope you're the right person for this, My name is William and I’m acting on behalf of a company focusing on cataloging all new condo pre-development as well as providing up-to-date news on existing condos. We have been featured on sites such as The Toronto Sun, Freshbooks, The Calgary Sun, CanadaDotCom, and Business Matters UK. We found your website among the top sites linking to Facebook through the keyword Condo Developers. Our target audiences are related. If we collaborate, I’m sure that we can reach even more of them. Placing authoritative links (our client is DR56) can get your site more exposure. Furthermore, we can add or suggest carefully researched keywords that are very easy to rank for to help pull your current ranking. Hence, I just wanted to check: do you allow link placements on geomancy.net’s existing articles? If your answer is a YES, how much do you usually charge for third parties like us to place links on your website? Stay safe and well. Cheers,
  5. Saturday 30 January 2021 ST LIFE With Chinese New Year round the corner, home owners are snapping up lucky plants such as pussy willow, bamboo saplings and chrysanthemum. But, fengshui master Cecil Lee points out, the practical benefits of greening the home are more important than superstitious beliefs. “If buying a plant – whether it is real or artificial – makes you feel happy, then according to fengshui principles, you benefit from positive energy,” says the founder of Geomancy.net, who is in his 60s. Especially with pared-down celebrations this year, Mr Lee, who has been giving geomancy advice since 1996, notes that buying a lucky plant or two can help lift spirits. During the periods of isolation last year, Singapore and several other countries saw a botanic boom as many turned to plants to cope with pandemic- induced stress. Mr Lee says: “Fengshui principles state that there are three types of good fortune – heavenly luck, which is endowed at birth; earthly luck, which is gained through fengshui; and Man’s luck, which is obtained through actions such as buying plants that make one feel good.”
  6. I love all ur comments - they are perfect for ST readers!
  7. I got lots of Lee’s T-shirts to sell to you! LOL!
  8. $4.80 char Siew and Chinese sausage rice. Fatty char Siew with aromatic barbecue taste Chinese sausages. The problem is that there is no meat on the char siew. Totally charred fat sides.. I seldom eat this unless I have a heavy schedule and or the next location does not have any favorable food.

  10. These are some considerations: 1. There are some Feng Shui Masters (FSMs) who will always "demand" of their clients to change the position of the toilet door. (Not withstanding that between the devil and the deep blue sea) to them it is better to let the toilet door face the lower half of the master bed than the situation that you had described. 2. Frankly, in my opinion, all this boils down to it being a stigma than Feng Shui. 2.1. Be it a FSM or an ordinary person or persons who felt that it is inauspicious. 2.2. Worse off comments is when someone says that the WC is directly facing the toilet door. 3. The best is to simply close the toilet door when not in use. Related:
  11. A simple solution for the kitchen would be to make use of opaque film like this... If something is out of sight, it ceases to pose a threat. When something is no longer visible, it is no longer a danger.
  12. THE ORIGINS OF CHINESE WEDDING SEDAN The chair-like wooden sedan lined with coloured silk was popular mode of transportation in ancient China. Just like a donkey ridden by the poor, the sedan was used by the rich around. However, no special occasions like wedding, the poor would also use a sedan to ferry the bride.
  13. Chinese assorted rice stall. Got a good kick out of it’s chilli sambal. A bit sweet... but nice. “Chope” culture... but with a huge wet tissue pack..LOL Often enjoy pieces of cucumber soaked in the chilli sauce.. kinda like pickled cucumbers.. LOL
  14. On 27 January 2020 Majority of the small food court space was taken over by Hom Aroy Thai Food Popiah $1.80/- each fair value. Nice.
  15. 1. In my opinion this has more to do with a stigma than Feng Shui as almost every single thing is often "pushed" to it. 2. For example, the main common sense reason as to why it is inauspicious is that of privacy. As common sense says either often one has to momentarily loiter at the lift lobby for a while until the lift door opens. 3. A tendency of human nature is to gaze one's eyes at our surroundings especially if a unit's front door is opened. How often many of us would peer curiously into a home... see it's decor and or see what activity is happening within? Having a dinner and dining table in full view etc.... 4. Thus all these sums to one word: Privacy or lack of it if one's front door is opened. Or that because of this, some who would like to have the front door left open to make the home airy.. now.. have to think twice or thrice about it. 5. Often some architects try to avoid having a front door facing a lift opening is because, there is a higher incidence of a fire engulfing a home than vice-versa. Which may result in smoke engulfing the lift lobby area or flow into the lift air-well and as well as into the lift. 5.1. Good that it is mandatory that front doors facing a lift or near to one has at least a 1/2 hour fire rating. 6. As one can see, all these are really purely common sense. 7. But when it comes to a potential resale of the unit, some may get low-ball offers or rejected because of or especially that of Para 3. Thus no amount of convincing can sway some that this has merely to do with a stigma of sorts. And really, really nothing whatsoever to do with Feng Shui.
  16. Frankly, there is no right or wrong answers. For example, this has more to do with one’s job function. What is the element of a CEO? Just because this person is in charge of things like Finance Dept (Metal), Sales & Marketing (Fire) etc. One has to look at this person’s core job function. That of your GROW the company. Thus the main element is WOOD. If one’s job in an Advertising agency is for example a Google sales representative or reseller of it’s advert, then this is under the Fire element. But, if the core job function is to come up with CREATIVE ADS, then it is classified as the Water element. Tell me, does this makes sense? A CEO of an Advertising agency, can instead be classified as a WOOD element. In my opinion, yours is most likely that of a Water element. If one had studied the field of Strategic Management and the works of Professor Michael Porter (Harvard); there is such a thing as 1. The Industry one is in. 2.A person’s job description. Thus there is such a thing as the industry eg. Banking = Finance. And if one is a teller person in this Bank. His/her job is FINANCE - Earth element. so what’s wrong ... go ponder over this. +++ In Summary There are no definitive right or wrong answers to this question. It all depends on the individual's job function. For instance, the primary responsibility of a CEO is to grow the company, making the main element associated with this role WOOD. Similarly, a Google sales representative in an Advertising agency falls under the Fire element due to their focus on sales and marketing. On the other hand, those responsible for creating creative ads are classified under the Water element. It is essential to consider the core job function when determining the elemental classification. In the case of a CEO in an Advertising agency, they could be categorized as a WOOD element. Based on my assessment, your elemental classification is most likely that of Water. By studying Strategic Management and the principles of Professor Michael Porter from Harvard, one can understand the significance of the industry and job description in determining elemental associations. For example, working as a teller in a bank would align with the Earth element due to the focus on finance. Take some time to reflect on these concepts and see how they resonate with you.
  17. From a traditional perspective, it may be considered a threat. However, I personally do not believe it poses a significant risk.
