  1. Dear Sophia, Sophia Chia wrote: Many tks4 reply. Well, anyidea what arethe different the price tag withcents or without cent tag on the item (eg cloth with price tag $19.90 or $19.00). I'm not very sure off it but I believe it is also deal with 00 ending sound inauspicious. As most shopping selling price tagthe cents is always included in it. Please advice. I believe this is more marketing than feng shui. You see the reason why most people will price at 19.90 or 19.99 is that to the person buying it it does not seem like $20 as it is like or within the $10 plus. But in actual fact, it is actually $20. Just like if you price $99. It seems like it is less than $100 so more like for people to want to buy it. Of course, if you want to look at feng shui perspective? 9 = Jiu. So 99 = Jiu Jiu. Forever. So maybe there is some portion of Feng Shui to explain why more people will buy the product if it is price in such a way. Hope that helps. Simply means that the 3 elements form a compatible element flow to control or stop the inauspicious star. ie star 2 and 5, will form a triple combination if the 3rd star is say Star 6. where star 6 helps to exhaust/control the star 2/5. 4. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: My daughter's birth element is weak wood and her five element breakdown is as follows: Anonymous wrote: 5% water, 20% wood, 0% fire, 75% earth and 0% metal. What this means is that:- As a weak Wood, her favourable element is Water and Wood. Since she has only 5% Water, water is the element she lack most. Therefore, water is more preferred than Wood (20%). Her unfavourable elements would be Metal because it destroy Wood and Fire which exhaust her Wood. Hoever, as she has 0% Fire and 0% Metal, some of these element is good but she will need to first have the element she favours first. Then only then can you have a little of some of the unfavourable elements. You see in order to achieve perfect balance, that means she need to have 20% of each element. But to obtain that perfection, it is very difficult for anyone to tell exactly how much of each element you have at any one time. In general, if you are weak, it means you do not have enough Water and Wood to make you Strong. So priority must go to having the favourable element first. This will make you strong enough, so that when you do add some of the unfavourable elements like Metal and Fire, this will help create more balance into your life. Anonymous wrote: According to her report, the career suitable for her is of water or wood elements. Since she has 0% metal in her chart, is accountancy (metal) suitable for her then although this is one of her dislikes? She will first need to have Water first, only then will she benefit from the Metal. So it is still more advisable that she goes fora career that is Water element (IT/Arts/Design etc). Then having some colours or shapes or objects that has metal. This is more ideal than having her go into her unfavourable career and trying to enhance the water. You can make use of the free Gua/Kua Number analysis in our member area under the free personal reports:- URL: http://login.geomancy.net The Kua Number (Eight House) isn't probably the right tool or analysis to check on compatibility. In general, the major exterior wall of the floorplan will define the shape of the structure. The roof usually follow accordingly. Unless in very special layout where the roof covers some of the missing corners but unless I am not wrong this is quite rare. In most cases, we based on which is the exterior wall to form the shape of the house. Those which is beyond the exterior wal, we normally will classify it as extentions. sophie corcoran wrote: also is a deck seen as an extention? 9. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I hope you can help clarify something for me. Under personal Ba Zi / Feng Shui element report, it showed at the beginning that Kua type is wood (right next to the heavenly stem and earthly branch). But under it, the birth element indicated I am a weak Yin Fire and I don't want to be too weak otherwise I cannot take advantage of my Wealth Element. Generally, there are a few theoriesthat can determine a person's element. ie. Kua Type Element - is based on the Eight House personal kua concept which is based on your YEAR of birth. ie. Ba Zi Element - is based on the Ba Zi analysis of your date of birth (ie day/month/year and even hour of birth). Since this concept considers even the day of birth, it is actually better than Kua Type element. Therefore, the Kua element you see, is just the Kua Type Element. Whereas the ba zi determines your element based on the day of birth as each year will have different element sign depending on which day you born in the year. ie You can be born in a Fire Pig year, but you can be a weak water Fire Pig or a strong Wood Fire Pig. Anonymous wrote: I am confused. Am I belonging to wood element or weak fire element? Most important, I am trying to determine what career is best for me. I am having difficult time to change my career for the last few years. Sadly to say, I am very unhappy with my job for years. In your case, your element is a weak Yin Fire person. So this is the true birth element that you should consider yourself. In general, a weak Fire person generally lacks Wood and Fire. Exactly how much percentage you lack depends a lot on the balance of your five element. ie say if you have 5% Wood and 10% Fire, then it means Wood is what you lack most followed by Fire element. This portion is not in the free report, but in general, it means Wood and Fire element will be favourable to you. Therefore, you can attempt to choose for career in Wood or Fire or a mixed Wood-Fire career from this link:- URL: http://talk.geomancy.net Hope that helps. 10. Dear Diane, Diane Price wrote: can you please advise me on what to do? We are in a south facing home which is bad for me, a west person, but, good for my husband, an east person. Any suggestions on what I can do to make this home suitable for both of us? I have searched for a front door cure, but, have had no luck. Thanks very much for your advise, Diane First question that you should be asking is, are you the breadwinner or your husband? A house must fit the breadwinner. This way the house will bring luck to the breadwinner who provides for the entire family. It is quite difficult to get a house that will fit family members. So the rest of the family members just need to ensure that they stay in a suitable bedroom to get luck from the bedroom. In most cases, the chinese still believe in that the male of the house tends to the considered the breadwinner. Of course, in the modern world, there it is also possible for the female to the breadwinner. But by deefault we still consider the husband in cases of equal earnings. So if you based on my above point. Then if you are not the breadwinner, I won't worry to much as it is very common to have a completely opposite personality between couples. What is more important is to prioritize who should get luck from the facing of the house, and who should get luck for the room.So if you based on that, then if the house isn't so suitable, then at least try to ensure that you havea suitable bedroom. So priority goes to breadwinner drawing luck from a suitable house facing, while the rest of the family draw luck from the room they stay. In Feng Shui, there is no way to correct a suitability issue. That is why choosing a good house from start is important. As it is very difficult to change the facing after you get the house. So you normally can only attempt to fix up whatever leaks possible, choosing the right colour scheme to improve your ba zi luck and balacing out the unbalance flying star sector. Hope that helps. In general, any home/office that have "living" creatures (ie toad, birds or in this case tortoise) that like to come and stay in the home/office/garden etc. Generally, these are always auspicious and sign of Sheng Qi (Life). I mean unless your place is good or can support life, I don't think any living creatures will want to come. That is why such signs are often considered good. As for your other point on the 4 digit point. Since you mentioned that there isn't any number, you can be well assured that is is not one has intentionally carve a number on the tortise. So definately not abandoned by some unlucky gambler, right? Warmest Regards Robert Lee Geomancy.Net - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

  13. Dear Allan, Please make use of the free comparison report in the member area:- URL: http://login.geomancy.net Under the Free Reports | Comparison. If you see lots of major clashes especially between the year vs year and day vs day, or too many minor clashes/harms(ie greater than 5/6), then there might be some conflicts. However, most can be at least minimised by choosing the right element to harmonise. Beyond that, will depend on the two of you (ie. how much you are both willing to give and take in order to make a relationship work.) Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: my master bedroom is in south palace of the house and has 1 mountain 3 water and 2 period star, since 1 and 3 combination is good, i am not able to get benefit because of 2 and 3 combination and 3 water star feeds the fire of this sector. Unforunately, everyone like to be able tobenefit from any goodcombination of stars. But often when there is an additional star that breaks the combination, then the priority is to just neturalise the impact of the star 2 so that the remaining stars can still give you the benefit of the combination. So apply metal cure to attempt to balance up the sector especially to neturalise the star 2. Then it can be converted to some good use. Would changing the main door to face either N or S be more beneficial to us both, since we belong to the East group? The main dooris facing W at present. Since this is a double storey detached house which will classify it as a landed property. In general, for landed property, the major qi will still have to be considered from the facing of the house and not necessary where your main door will be. This means that the qi flow for the house is based on where the house faces on the plot of land. Change the door (or choosing a different door enterance)will only affect the interior flying star chart but such changes many not be enough to make the house change from an West facing house to an East facing house. If the flying star chart for that is better, then no harm. But to truly change the West facing house to a East facing house is to knock down the existing house and rebuilt it so that frontage is facing East.Otherwise, your main door may change location, but your facing will not change. 16. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Dear Master, I live in a N1, Ren home 348deg. Now to find the 24 mountain direction do I use the 348 deg as my facing directon or 0 deg from the center point of the home for my reference point ? In general, you take the facing direction of your home. ie I presume you have already considered that:- 1. Apartments (2nd-7th level), you take the main door direction (ie standing at the main door looking outwards). 2 Apartments (8th level and up), you take the living room/balcony direction (ie standing in your living room looking outwards). 3. Landed property, you take the frontage of your building. So say if yours is the landed property and your facing or frontage is 348 degree, than you take that as your facing direction or for the flying star sector. The other method of taking the main door from the centerpoint is for assessing the interior flying star of the house. Not wrong, just that this analysis will be limited to only the 4 walls of your home. You cannot extend the chart to look at the feng shui of your surrounding. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  17. Dear Sophie, sophie corcoran wrote: i hav read that this year, there shouldnt b any building or disruption in the north or south east sector but we were planning on finally building our house in 2 months, the kitchen would b towards the north and bedroom/onsuite in south east. North/West and North must be careful because it is the Grand Duke (Tai Sui) or Location in Conflict. So if you can avoid having any major renovations, you should try to do so. South-East is not as bad but probably the concern is due to the illnes star in South-East sector this year. If you cannot avoid it, I recommend that you at least look for an auspicious date to start work, and do some simple prayer or offering to the deities or gods or spirits in the area that you are planning to start work and apologise for any inconvienced caused. Then, avoid being present during the entire renovation process until it is completed. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  18. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: However, I would like to ask another question. My houseposition is NE1 whichis not beneficial to my hubby as his suitable is East/South-East. However, you have advised us of his best sleeping, best work position to enhance his Fengshui. Our life are so much better after that. However, I think you did mentione tous that is not going to be good in long term. Will moving a new house according to the new house suitable to his gua be a better alternatives. In general, if the house does not suit the breadwinner, it means that the breadwinner will not be able to enjoy the maximum amount of luck from the house. So the only way to get a quantum leap in feng shui is to move to a more suitable house. That is why a suitable house is very important and very difficult to correct once you move in. Anonymous wrote: I wonder whether you can help us to review our case to see whether this present house can still stay on? To be frank, we have to many request/plea for help (so much so that there are lots of backlog of cases) that we are not able to provide help to each and every case on a one to one basis so no promises here. Anonymous wrote: Will it affectsmy hubby as his health is not too well recently. In general, health issues are more likely that the bedroom that you are in may have some illness/misfortune stars that is creating unbalances. So probably that is something that you should check out using the free flying star reports available in our member area. Quote: Is it necessary to have Fengshui read every year? Usually a proper feng shui analysis should focus on the long terms issues and solutions first. If this is fixed, then the only thing you just need to fine tune each year is to look out where the yearly star 2/5 comes in. And add some minor changes if the stars are affecting key rooms. So a good feng shui analysis done, need not necessary have to review each year. Only until you do plan to have any major renovations or major changes that might affect the existing qi. Otherwise, only need to watch out for the minor yearly star changes which might need some additional balances for the star 2/5 especially. Hope that helps. 19. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: About 4 months ago, i had my sitting position at work changed to this current one where it's facing a big square pillar. Didn't really thought much about it until recently. But looking back at these 4 months I realised that my projects so far had been chocked full of obstacles and barriers. All of the projects, even the smallest ones, had a problem or another. Basically nothing went smooth and I don't know why. I've become more aware of the pillar in these few weeks and I am beginning to believe that all my obstacles at work were in some way due to the bad feng shui created by the pillar. It is likely the corner from the square pillar on the whole is cutting into you so it is a shapes and form sha qi. The only way you can do is to attempt to see if you can put anything to block or break the sha qi towards you. Unfortunately, in an office environment where you are ownly an employee (not the boss or holding some key position), to be frank it can be very difficult to have the flexibility to fix such aproblem. The best if you can have some plants or tress at the corner to break the shape, or have some partition that can shield you or to move to another better location. But often this is difficult if you are just an employee of the company. As for placing other items such a mirror or some small plants on your desk if it can act as a shield maybe still can help, but a great deal unless the object can break the shape of the sha qi. So probably the only other way is to correct other areas ie boost up your ba zi luck ie if you are weak wood, then wearing more of your favourable colour to attempt to boost up your individual luck. This may offset some of the influence from this problem. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

  21. Dear Norman, Norman Leonor wrote: I would like also to know if there is also Feng Shui for names? If there is what would you recommend an auspicious name for me coz I am planning to change my name becoz I am having difficulty to do my signature with my present name. I think changing my name and signature will help improve my business. Yes, there is a chinese name analysis which incorporates the five element analysis into the chiense name. English name there isn't a such a conversion, in the concept. However, in general, there are several books that mentioned that the english name can still be analysed by considering the element by the number of character, and the alphabet that of the 1st character of the name is the element for the name. As mentioned, there is a name analysis, but for our service we only do the chinese name analysis as this is the true traditional analysis. English analysis service isn't available as there is yet to be a consistent analysis method that is as chinese name analysis. In general, the one thing to note is that usually if you already an adult, changing name does not really bring you major luck changes. However, as mentioned if it is due to difficulties with your signature, then probably it will bring you some ease if you do change it. But in terms of luck changes, you will have greater luck change from other areas such as improving the luck of the home or office as compared to a name change. Hope that helps. 22. Dear Sophie, sophie corcoran wrote: r u saying that i shouldnt bother using the bagua? I was saying that these isn't the most important leak. There should be other more important things to consider first. What I was implying was that you are making this which I consider say severity of 100/100 where it is only a rated 1/100 in terms of severity. I mean, it is like saying that everyone who has the bedroom in this sector (ie Children/Sernity& Joy ie West) will mean that the house is bad? Sorry, but what this is only saying is that if you happen to have a bedroom which is west for your children, then you can benefit it. If this room is for other purpose then you can't enjoy it. The same goes for all the other eight aspiration sector. Furthermore, like I mentioned this problem is rated to be say 1/100 in severity. Do you think that you will really get a major luck boost even if you correct it? Where if there Qi leak from the house to the back door which rates as say 70/100 that you completely ignore? Fixing which leak do you think will give you a greater change in feng shui luck. Of course the qi leak from the house to the back door. So my point was that you are putting the effort to fix leak on an not as big deal problem compared to a MUST FIX problem. sophie corcoran wrote: iv read that ur reputation, wealth, marriage etccan go down the drain if u hav a bathroom in that area. If that is so, that means that everyone with the toilet in that sector will have the encounter that problem right? Sorry, but that is not the reason why a person will have wealth or marriage problem. Wealth problems for house are where there is a major wealth leak such as Qi Leak or that star current prosperity star is trapped or destroyed (is star 8 for period 8) Marriage problem for house are where there is like conflict or disput stars in the bedroom or main door area which may cause conflicts in marriage. Locating the true cause rather than very general tips such as by not fixing such sectors you have this problem etc is more important. Always remember that many sites that post TIPS are generally very general. Just like when someone tell you the romance corner is South-West as you to activate the sector with 99 roses. It won't work because firstly, they do not consider personalise the analysis. It is just a very general tip. Most of such general tips can really do more harm that good really simply because most people just blindly follow it. However, such tips are the easiest for most author to write simply because it is a general tip. But as to being able to give you results, you can ask most of people who tried it. All most all will tell you that it does not really work. The only way to apply feng shui is to assess the home and your ba zi in all aspects. Identify the major leaks and fix it. Also you must know which is really important and which is not important. Like I mentioned, non-important or very little impact type of leaks will not really boost your luck. So unless you really get the right principles and fix up the major leaks first, you will never really see results. I think you should read this link first:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/consultation/consult-resources/leakinexistinghome.htm It tells you why it is important to fix up major leaks first. There are also many other combinations you can choose:- ie. either wood & fire - ie wood strengthen weak wood, and fire strengthen weak earth. ie. either water & fire - ie water strengthen weak wood, and fire strengthen weak earth. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I dont have much idea of Feng shui... But my husband belives & follows it. I was stucked up at one thing whether Indoor cactus are good or bad? He says it brings bad fortune. Is it true? Plants in general is good. Especially those with flowers. Plants that have torns or sharp branches can indirectly create posion arrows (sha qi). Therefore, like your husband said, it is not as good simply because the it creates lots of torns. What you want in a home is harmony rather than conflicts. Therefore, for this reason it is not so good especially if it is the only plant around. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  25. Dear Sophie, sophie corcoran wrote: its a bathroom so its not good 4 feng shui. As mentioned in my earlier post, the eight aspiration is the least important concept. As such, it does not mean that just because the toilet is there that you will not have children/creative luck. This is because under the bagua (eight aspiration), it is said that everyone's children/creative sector is at this sector. This means to say that the million of human all have this same sector. Does it make sense? It is just like saying the the romance sector is South-West, to active it you need to put 99 roses there. So I personally will not consider as bad as say if your auspicious flying star (ie star 8 for period 8 house) is found in this toilet sector, it means that your wealth will be affected by it. Which is why I said that it no really as bad as you are saying it is. Simply because that is just a static and should be the last thing you activate. Priority goes to External Shapes and Form, followed by Flying Star, followed by Eight House and last by Eight Aspiration (bagua) for any house. Such advises won't bring you any results simply because it isn't personalised nor really where the true wealth area of the house is. True wealth sector is always changing. Therefore, the good sector can never be the same for all sector. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
