  1. Dear Michelle, Michelle Goh wrote: Wish to ask, from the baizi reading, you can tell about your spouse right? Actually, there is very limited amount of information that you can tell from analysing only one person's ba zi chart. It can only tell us whether in general will your relationship with your child, spouse, parents & grandparents. Will it be generally good or bad. Whether there may be potential conflicts that will arise. To know more, you really need to compare the two ba zi chart together. As depending on the compatibility of the element and horoscope, plus reading the individual's spouse pillar. Only then can more relationship analysis be truly analysed. Michelle Goh wrote: But for me, I am a strong earth person, I read somewhere that Wood represents my spouse and Metal represents my children. I dont have any Wood element in my baizi, but I have low metal element. May I know if there is no wood element, means that I will have no spouse? But why is there Metal element? One really need to analysis your chart in order to comment more. However, in general, each person's chart defines which element as your wealth, your deities differently depending a lot on the element of birth. So relationship between your various pillars will also differ from person to person. So what you read need not necessary be relating to your own chart. It is because each person is different, that is personalisation is a key factor that we always stress. And that is why we do not try to simply advise people on general tips or comments. This is not right and only confuses people. Yes, though general tips and advise is very easy to give, but ultimately will it work for all? Often it does not and in fact it will cause problem if you apply it blindly without considering all the facts. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  2. Dear C C, C C wrote: In general:Is both 6th May 2006 and 12th May 2006(Vesak Day) a good day to choose to deliver my BB? If it is for a baby boy, then either 6th or 12th May will be born with a fairly good ba zi luck for the baby. Except for 12th May 9-11pm. If it is for a baby girl, then either 6th or 12th May will be born with an average baby luck for the baby. As mentioned you wanted to know in general, different hours will have different luck and some differences. So I will not be sure unless a more indepth analysis is done. 3. Dear Leena, Leena Abraham wrote: In our flat (home) we got a fish tank. We kept it left side (middle of theroom)of the sitting cum dining room. Please advise me the best place for a fish tank at home. 1. The best location has to be determined by where your auspicious water star is found for your house facing. Please make use of the free flying star report to generate the flying star for your home. URL: http://login.geomancy.net Once you generated the report, look at your chart. In general, the best locations to place the water position is where the water star is the current or future prosperity number. So for period 7 houses, look for the star 7 (current) or star 8 (future) numbers on the water star sector. While for period8 houses, look for star 8 (current) or star 9 (future) numberson the water star sector. These are the sectorsthat will usually generally benefit from activating water stars. Of course there will be other factors to consider but usually for users wanting to apply feng shui on their own, these are the best locations to consider placing your water feature. 2. Also, you must consider your birth element (especially if you are the breadwinner). Usually, weak fire or strong water will not benefit from having too much water feature. It will overkill you rather than benefit you. So use the free ba zi report (which is also found in our member website) to confirm your element. 3. Only caution I have for you at this point is that never place water feature at the center location of the house. This will cause a major unbalance in house and result in loss of wealth. So far you only mented it was middle of the living/dining room which does not necessary mean it is in the center of the house. So just double check this and avoid it where possible. Hope that helps. 4. Dear Aloysius Chia, Aloysius Chia wrote: Having browse through your information over the facing direction of a apartment block especially HDB unit, I have a query or rather confusion over this area. Some FS Mastermentionedfacing direction of a apartment should be the facing direction of the whole building regardless which floor you are staying. If you do this, you are evaluating the entire block rather than the unit that you are staying in. This is often used if you need to evalute how is the luck for the entire building. However, even in a block there will be some unit which has better luck than another unit. That is why taking the individual home's facing direction will allow you to determin that. Flying Star can be applied to a small area (ie unit in the block), then entire building or block, or even to a plot of land. Thus, the type of facing you use determines this. Aloysius Chia wrote: While some say 10th floor and above should take the facing from the living room/balcony looking outwards. The reason for this is that when you are on a higer floor, it is less likely that other building or surrounding block will block your view. Thus, is deemed to have virtual water (clear space). In our website, we have defined the facing for apartment as follows:- Apartment (2nd - 7th level), you take the main door as your facing direction. Apartment (8th level and up), you take the living room/balcony or where most light enters into your home. Aloysius Chia wrote: I'm confuse over here as for example a HDB buidling is facing the main road with heavy traffic so I took the compass reading at the ground floor 6 feet away from the block and it read 240 degree (SW3) but compass reading at the 11th level balcony looking outwards show 256 degree (W1). You should use the one from your balcony ie W1. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  5. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I u/stand that this yr 2006, the Grand Duke is at NW 292-307 which happens to be at my living room and I hv told all family members not to sit facing this direction. It is more important that you do not disturb the grand duke by having any major renovation done in this sector as this will immediately disturb him. As for facing him, though it is not advisable to facing him, this has lesser impact than having renovations done. So where possible avoid it, but more importantly avoid any renovation being done in this sector forthis year. Anonymous wrote: My concern is how about the bedrooms and dining room, as each room has its own tai chi. Shld I also be concerned with the NW in each individual room so that we do not sleep/sitfacing the NW sector inside each room. In general, when we apply feng shui concepts we need to remember that there is a macro level and micro level application. When you further breakdown your individually, you are applying micro level to the analysis. While when you breakdown your home into the direction, you are applying a macro level. The more important is to avoid have renovations done in the living room since this affect the macro level of the NW sector of the entire house. The individual room corner NW is considered minor. Not practical to be applying all these restriction to each room. Otherwise, you will end up with absolutely no freedom to do anything at all. Furthermore, like I mentioned above. The more imporant thing is to avoid renovation rather than worrying about facinghim. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  6. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I am having an architect design a house and I want to incorporate feng shui. My front doorshould facenorth, but my garagemust facesouth or east. My lucky number is 1, I am an eastern person, and water is my symbol. How can the design be maximized according to these parameters? I would strongly recommend that you seek professional consultation services to help you on this. It is difficult to provide analysis on such queries simply because a lot of factors have to be considered in order to be able tell you what is the best way. I mean for example, you mentioned the front door should face north. But in your eight house (4 good and 4 bad direction) concept for example, there are at least 4 good directions. So is there one that will be a suitable direction that you have your garage and facing be the same direction? Also, since you are building a house from scratch, it means that you also have to consider the best facing that will give you the best flying star house luck. For example, in period 8, houses generally built facing North-East/South-West gives a better Qi and luck for the house. Besides that, one will also have to consider what are the external threats available from other houses that surround your home etc. With so many factors to consider, it is hard to just advise you on what to do as you need to really consider all the different point of views then arrange the home in such a way that you are selecting the option that gives you the most amout of auspicious luck. This is why I mentioned that it is probably better you seek a professional consultation to help you make changes to your architect design so that it will in corporate the right design and layout for best qi. 7. Dear Suat PG, suat PG wrote: I would like to seek your advice on how to neutralise the poison arrow inmy office. You see, I am sitting directly below a sprinkler on the ceiling. The sprinkler is sharp and pointed. Yes, any pointed arrow is considered a poison arrow. However, in feng shui we also have to consider whether is it a big or small threat. Big threat are usually large like a corner of a wall that cuts into you will create a much more larger posion arrow. So this is considered a small threat by comparison. suat PG wrote: Short of changing the position where I sit, which is not possible, what can I do or use to neutralise this? In your case, you mentioned it is not possible to shift, so I don't really think there will be any thing much you can do. As the way to block poison arrow is to have something to block ie (ie screen/plants etc). Since it is from the ceiling, it is going to be difficult to put anything to block it. If you can you can try to sit in the position that the sprinker cuts only a small portion when you sit and work. If not, then since it is also a small poison arrow and nothing much else you can do, just leave it. Try to focus on correcting other more important areas in feng shui such as your home, the colour your wear. Often the luck of a person is most significantly affected by the house (Earth Luck). So once you get that right, even if there are other smaller threats around, it won't weally affect you as much as the major luck from the house luck for example offset it. Hope that helps. Altar

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Is it ok to place the altar(Guan Yin)facing west? I believe it is not generally bad to place facing a certain direction. In fact it depends more on what the altar is actually facing, or what is behind the altar etc. Like for example, it is bad to place any altar where the toilet is directly behind it. These type of rulesets are more important to follow, than compared to a fix ruleset that altar can never face west. Anonymous wrote: is it true that the suspended type of altar is not so good? Of course the most ideal is to place on a table where there is like support and often most altar table size is often of a standard size that is of an auspiciosu dimension. In fact it is still ok to place a suspended type altar but you need to make sure that the construction of the box or suspending support is made of a material that will not break easily. ie do not use glass or materials that can crack or break easily. The ideal is to ensure that there is a solid foundation so that the guan yin statue you place will not fall or drop. Hope that helps. 9. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I do not think of myself as a weak person, however, I have learned that I am a weak Fire. What exactly does this mean? Frankly, a weak person does not mean that person is weakling, nor does a strong person mean you are a strong person. It is just one of the two classification for what element you belong to when you relate yourself to the environment. For example, an element like fire can either be a weak fire or a strong fire. That state basically helps to define what kinds of element is good or bad for you. In turn, once you know this proces, you can easily relate the what careers, what colours, what direction, what people will be considered favourable or unfavourable to you. For example, a weak fire means you lack wood and fire elements, so these two elements is considered your favourable elements. When you related to the career, that means wood can mean teaching is favourable, while fire is like sales and marketing. So the weak or strong state, just helps you make sense about what you belong to in the world of the five element. Anonymous wrote: Does it mean that I should avoid certain colors/elements/people or else they will weaken me? For example, should I never wear my unfavorable colors? It seems silly to me. It seems silly to you, because you do not really understand how to use it. Elements that are favourable to you, just means that having more of such elements will benefit you. While, elements not so favourale for you, just means you should have less of it. The ultimate goal is to have 20% of each element. As a completely harmonious person is where you have just the right porportion of elements distributed in various parts of your life (ie your home, your career, your favourable colour, the people around you etc). So it does not mean that unfavourable for you means you completely should not have it. Just that you should have as little of it as you possibly can. You will still require it to help balance everything as you need all five elements to balance yourself. The only difference is how much or how little of such element you should add to make it a perfect balance. In feng shui, the goal is for perfect harmony and balance. Anonymous wrote: Also - how to avoid unfavorable elements/people when you usually don't know this type of information about people. Frankly, you will always be meeting different people, so you do not have to check up on each and everyone. But rather check up on it for important things. Such as if you do wish to go into partnership with another friend, your success will be greater if they are your favourable element. So it is for important partnership or comparison then you really go and check on this. Otherwise, it is really impractical to check on everyone. No one does this. Furthermore, like I mentioned, relationship with others is one factor. Often we consider this as Human Luck factor which is harder for one to control. But there are always ways to improve it. I mean that is why having good people to people skill will allow you to be able to make friends easily. The area you usually have more control is choosing the right house (Earth Luck), the right decoration in the room to improve family harmony, the right colour to boost your own individual luck, the suitable career to boost your career luck. Anonymous wrote: I also found out the my fiance is a strong Earth and from the Feng Shui perspective we are not very compatible, so this is disheartening. Should couples that are not compatible focus on surrounding themselves at all times with favorable colors and elements? Like I mentioned, it is more about trying to harmonise the relationship. In any two couples, there is always an element or two elements together that you can use to harmonise them. The best way for couples would be the room colour and house decor. If the common area the two person share have favourable colours, this helps to reduce potential conflict and improve harmony. The rest will depend on your own Human Luck effort. ie how much each of you are willing to give and take to make a relationship last. So in any relationship, there is always a way to attempt to improve the relationship by assessing the five element. The rest will then depend on individual effort. Hope that helps. 11. Dear Terry, Terry Yuen wrote: My house is having the a stretch of windows alongside inthe whole side of my Living Room wall. Death, Irritation, Disaster direction. Actually, the most important factor for eight house application is for:- 1. Ensure that the breadwinner (I presume yourself), has a suitable house facing direction ie if North is your facing and it falls under your death, irritation direction that it is deemed unsuitable for you home.So in long run, the solution to get a quantum leap is to move to a more suitable house etc. 2. The next important thing you use this concept is to locate the best room for you to sleep or work in. It should be a room that falls under the favourable sector of your eight house. 3. Last thing is to assist you to find the best direction to sleep or to work. This is usually what this concept is more for. The rest you do not have to fix unless it poses as a problem. Terry Yuen wrote: Will it be good to put a fish tank to block this angle? For fish tank/water feature, it is more important to place it where you can activate the auspicious water star in the flying star (ie in period 8, water star 8 or water star 9 are the better locations where the water feature or fish tank would benefit the rest of the house). So for fish tank placement, it is better suited to find the right position to boost the luck for the entire home. Hope that helps. 12. Dear Wong Hong Heng, Wong Hong Heng wrote: I currently brought a well-known hand crafts Black Pi Xiuat Taipei from a Fs Master and was advise to place it next to my bed facing the bed door to enhance my luck. Eg. 4D, Toto, gambling Etc. To be frank, all these items are really more of decorative items ratherthan real feng shui. Meaning that no matter where you place, there will not be any mystical powers that will ensure that you will get a windfall. We often classify such items has improving the Human Luck (ie if it makes you feel better, by all means go ahead) Ever wonder why most of such items being sold as feng shui items never come with a guarentee that after using it you sure to get a windfall etc? Because they do not work. In fact, the manufacturers are the ones who will profit from the sale of such items . Such items can be bought in China for a small price, but often sold at high prices. True feng shui is nothing at all to do with items or products. It is more about getting to know your own luck, choosing the right career/business, the correct home, the best placement of furniture and colour scheme in the room. So true feng shui is about knowing your given heavenly luck (ie ba zi), getting the right house (Flying Star/Eight House), as well as relationship (ie Human Luck). Feng Shuireally does not depend on any items. Most of the so call feng shui itemswhich are often for decorative purpose. However, because some items often has some symbolic of something auspicious. It is often being branded as having Feng Shuieffect.Just like during chinese new year why do most people like to buy those auspicious couplet, it is just to seek a good beginning. That is all. You should notice why our website from 1st day it was up until today never ever sell any items except for consultation services. Simply because such items never really has anything to do with true feng shui. A successful person's house often does not have such items, except for decorative purpose. Feng Shui like I mentioned is choosing the right house facing, having the right colour scheme, best placement and a harmonious. If done properly into your renovation designs, one may not even know that there are feng shui enhancements done. And the result is a very comfortable home that the family will like to live in. If you sleep/enjoy better in your home, you will naturally be able to focus better when you work. And the rest depends on your own human effort. We have seen so many of our clients who will come back to us several years after theirpreviousaudit to review their new home or offices that they upgraded to. And none of them was advised to put any such items, yetthey can see good results simply by following the advice given on the right colour scheme and placement. Some even had feng shui so cleverly incorporated into their interior design that none of their friends or family member even know that the house had been feng shui. This is what true feng shui should be. So our advise is not to display such items. Wong Hong Heng wrote: I had see some details of placing Pi Xiu in the house listed by some Fs Master in the web listed that Pi Xiu should not place in the bedroom. Wong Hong Heng wrote: 1. So Who is correct ? This item should never be placed in the bedroom. So the one you read on other website is more corrcct. Wong Hong Heng wrote: 2. 14. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Could you please throw some advice on How to find the House Number and Cures for the Bad Numbers. Your advice will benefit all the members of geomancy. I won't go into the calculation details as it is all done by our free report. This report basically is an extension of the Flying Star concept. It's purpose is to assist users to determine which unit number is deemed more auspicious. This is especially useful when there are two units layout exactly the same, except one is one 4th level and another is on 7th level. So this report will be useful to determine which unit wil have better unit number Qi. Since this report is basically an extension of the flying star, the analysis results is more to tell you how good or bad the unit number would be like. As it is said that unit on different level, will have different luck as well. That is about all. As to whether or not the predicted effect will happen, it will depend a lot more on the actual flying star sector rather than on this unit number. So I won't worry too much about the unit number predicted analysis. Just use that description to gauge how auspicious or not is it. You should focus on fixing the flying star or shapes and form problems within the home. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  15. Dear Marilyn, marilyn o wrote: Does Bazi Depends on Place of Birth?? I remembersome fengshui mastersask for my friends' place of birth before he do their ba-zhi. For example, im born July 29, 1980 at 2:16pm. My bazhi will be different if I was born in US from if I was born in HK. 1. Theorically, if you can factor in your exact place of birth (ie especially through theexact long. and lat. of birth), this would IDEALLY give you a more accurate analysis. But it has to be done via the exact long. and lat. of birth. Other methods that are currently used (ie the timezone differences etc) are not really good way to factor location due to the simplication of timezone and many reasons. 2. However, realistically there are many people who don't even know the exact time of birth let alone the exact place of birth. So if one really want to consider the long. and lat. factor, I personally find that you will end up with ahigher degree of error rather than being more accurate. So I find thisfactor does not necessary mean that you will get a more accurate analysis, in fact, it is more likely you may make the analysis less accurate if information are not 100% correct. 3. Furthermore, if you really know the mechanics behind the ba zi chart is derived, you will know that it was designed such that even if you leave the time of birth unknown, you can still get a fairly accurate analysis. Why? Thus, for those that attempted to factor in the timezone different, this factor really significantly affect much of the luck factor. Only the characteristics and breakdown of five element percentage will differ. The rest will have minimal impact except maybe the presences of like clashes/harms in different luck pillar which tells us whether you will have a difficult period or not. Essentially, not much will have much impact from the hour pillar. That is why you find that often when it comes to really famous personalities being analysed on their ba zi, you find that most just use the date of birth (without the time of birth nor location factor), and yet it is able to get a good forecast on that person. 4.The ba zi is only a heavenly given luck, so it is supposed to forecast only what is supposed to happen. A lot of people have the misconception that ba zi is able to 100% predict past events. This is actually not true. A ba zi can forecast the type of luck, assuming that there are no other external factors that influence you. However, in the real world, your home/your environment/your relationship with people around you/your education etc will have direct impact over your home. Especially your home (Earth Luck) and your relationship (Human Luck). It is these changes/factor that often result in difference in predicted luck and what you exactlly experience. For example, when your luck period is bad, but your home feng shui is good and your environment is good, your luck will often be better than your predicted luck. So it does not mean that having factor in the exact long. and lat. will mean that the ba zi will be more accurate. On the contrary, it is likely to make the chart less accurate if you do not get the long. and lat. correctly. 5. In fact the only way to get a very very accurate fortune told, is not just to focus on one single theory. The reason why feng shui when applied correctly is so powerful is not because it is so, but rather because of the numerous feng shui theories that work together to give a very well rounded analysis. Each theory has it's advantage and edge, so only when you really take advantage of it, will you really get a full and all rounded analysis. That is why to get a really accurate fortune, you cannot just depend on Ba Zi analysis. A really accurate analysis is done using several concepts such as a combination of (ba zi analysis, horoscope/astrology/zi wei dou shu analysis, palmistry analysis, face reading analysis, i-ching/oracle, etc). It is the use of all these concept together, that one can really get a really accurate analysis. This is because each theory will reinforce the other, and as the saying goings the more concept you use, the more accurate the analysis because each theory will cancel the weakness of the other. So to get a more accurate analysis, you should be using the different tools (taking the best analysis result of each tool so as to get the best possible reading). There is no way to get an accurate just by depending on one single concept. 6. So more important, I find that focusing on intepretating the analysis based on how the information balanced up is ultimately what makes ba zi so flexible and yet able to give a good prediction. It is how the chart balance up that gives us an understanding as to why this year is good or bad. This is why though there are different variations in concepts, when the consultant/master does a very good analysis of the chart, you will find that they will still be able to pinpoint what's wrong and how to correct them. So it is a good interpretation of the chart that tells a good forecast from a bad on. So it is for the above reasons and many other reaons which I haven't touch on that is why we DO NOT require the place of birth information. As we really find it unnecessary and only adds more room for error rather than making it more accurate. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

For a Kua 5, quite similiar West/North-West for the bed and workingt table to be South-West/North-East. For wardrobe, you don't need to check the feng shui as it is the bed and work position that you need to find the best location. As for the toilet, don't think you can do much as this is usually built along with the house. So ideally, if they can be located it should be located in any of the 4 bad directions sector. Beyond that, a detailed analysis on the actual layout plan, ba zi and flying star needs to be considered to be able to tell you more. Sometimes, it is impossible to get the best of everything so one need to know which is important and adjust accordingly. Which is why I said it is better you seek professional help to advise you. Then you won't have so much worry or drama on the renovation. Ultimately, the final result must be such that you like it otherwise, you will never feel comfortable. However, this house is situated on the end of a T intersection and faces a short cul de sac street with 6 to 8 houses. Is this a bad homefor feng shui purposes. The original owner built the house but does not want to live in it per the advise of their feng shui advisor. I can send yousome pictures if needed. I am hesitant about renting the house because my father is in poor health and I don't want this to further affect health if he moves into the house. It is best if you can look for another house. As it is never a good house if it is at the end of T intersection and faces a short cul de sac street. Always remember that the reason why the previous owner sells the place can give you some indication if the house is god or not. If it is a good house, the only reason why the owner would sell is to move to a better one. So if it is for other reasons, then often it is not a good house. So I think you should skip it and find another one. Anonymous wrote: Also, the current rental house that I am living in has astairway that ends directly at my front door. This stairway also leads directly to the upstairs bathroom. And the upstairs bathroom (toilet)directly faces my bedroomand bed. What are the effects of thesesituations, and are there any remedies? Generally, this isn't the most ideal placement for the stairs and the toilet location. If you are able to put a screen the stairway and door, this would help to block the problem you are facing. If this is not possible, then probably keeping the toilet door close and toilet seat cover down would be the most pratical way to minimuse the situation. 21. Dear Anon, Nntp Guest wrote: Flying Star vs 8 Hse FS... which is weighing more heavier ? Each concept is meant for a specific purpose. ie. Flying Star is about the luck of the house. ie. Eight House is about how suitable you are the house. Though, it is good to go for the best house luck facing for the period, but if the house is unsuitable to you then you will not be able to get the maximum amount of luck from the house. Most importantly, you should avoid getting a house that is not Death or Disaster at least. So it is good to get the best house luck, but you should make sure that it does not fall under the Death or Disaster. This I would believe would be the best balance. So at long as the house is not Death or Disaster, then you are free to choose the best flying star otherwise. The most ideal would be the best eight house direction and best possible flying star if possible. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

And the most important thing is that sprinkleror detctor can correct my feng shui or is it just for safety precaution???? The smoke detector would be most practical for homes while sprinkler for any larger complex commercial type building. There are some guidelines to the best placement of the smoke detector so you should follow those guidelines when installing it. So you should not just install it over the stove, but usually some location ie a room beside the kitchenthat does not get the alarm activated falsely but yet able to detect once a real fire get out of hand. Usually the manufacture ofthe smoke detector or even a comprehensivehome security and firealarm packagecompany can give you better advise on thebest effective placement. In any case, the main problem about the kitchen below the bedroom is due to the high probability of fire. With modern technological advancement, smoke detectors is the most ideal solution to this problem. At least it will be much better than using any traditional solution such as 6 coins or bagua mirror etc. All of which will simply burn in the flames, whereas the smoke detector will give you some warning to be able to allow you to escape. Dear Alicia, Alicia Tan wrote: If my wealth luck is againt me, what can I do to improve it? In general, most people either have big luck with them or against them. When luck is with you, things is likely to go in your favour whatever you do. If luck is against yoou, then things are likely not go favour you. There will always still be 5-yearly, yearly luck which will change in each period. So some years will be better others will not. In general, you will simply need to make sure that have more of your favourable elements that you lack. The more you have in as many areas of our life the better your overall luck. ie favourable colours/career/house/people around you etc. You can refer to the free report and this chart for example:- URL: http://talk.geomancy.net Hope that helps. 24. Dear D'Natalie, D'Natalie Smith wrote: Can someone explain to me how is it that someone with a strong metal element would need to use fire as a booster when I read that it should be earth? A strong Metal means that you are strong due to too much Earth and Metal. Therefore in general Earth and Metal are considered unfavourable. Water is the best solution to help Strong Metal given that is exhaust the excess Metal. Fire is also good because Fire destroy Metal. However, Fire is more a double edged sword as it also strengthen the Earth. Therefore, I mentioned that Water is most effective. Wood is simply wealth to Strong Metal. Therefore, in general Water, Wood, Fire are generally good. However, ultimately the percentage of the element is what you need to consider to know exactly what elements you need more or which you need less. For example if you have 40% Fire, then it means you already have quite a lot of fire, so more fire may not be good. D'Natalie Smith wrote: Since you are a strong yang Water, you don't want to be too overly strong otherwise, you will not be able to control yourself. I am not sure what this has to do with the above question. But again as a Strong Water, wood and earth is favourable, while metal and water is unfavourable. Again, the exact percentage should also be considered in order to know exactly which element you need more. Hope that helps. 25. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Doeskeeping a picture or statueof a leopard or other wild cat carry the same significance as keeping a tiger picture or statue? When it comes to pictures, it is more the symbolic representation that matters. For example, picture of fishes/horses/flowers etc or non violent pictures tends to be more welcome thantiger/dragons which is often considered fierce. Ideally, you want a home to be welcoming and therefore keeping pictures of more harmonious pictures are often better. Pictures such as tiger/leopard can still be displayed but should be avoided. Or if you do wish toplace such sha qi, it should be used to counter some some poison arrow. Ultimately, it also depends on yourself. If you do feel confortable about it there should not be a major issue in displaying them. As mentioned, anything that has sha qi shuld be minimised if possible. Hope that helps.
