Dear Pam, Once a house has some water feature (ie drain etc). Then you have to consider the impact of the water course feng shui. Especially, the direction of the water flow as well as the shape of the drain. URL: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-wcourse.htm Generally, a drain near a house, poses a couple of problems typical problems like smell / flooding etc. Most of the time if you have a choice, it is best to avoid houses with such a drain if and where possible. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, There is a logical reason why anything higher than a side table is not advisable. This is because if you look at the shelf at the side, the scorner closer to the bed will form a poison arrow which cuts into the bed. Since both side cuts into the bed, it is like an X. Which is bad feng shui. So not recommended. Even if you replaced it with a table, the same effect will be created unless you ensure that where you sit the poison arrow will not cut you. And/or at least if the corners are rounded, then not as bad. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Samantha, You will need to apply the Eight Pie rather than Nine Grid form of the flying star. This is because flying star does not define a room by a square, it actually sector by sector. Grid form has its benefit for simple layout, but for more complex / irregular, the Eight Pie sector divison can let you know which sector falls under what influence. This means that a room can be divided into two different influence. So you have to apply the cure according on the sector that is covering that portion of the room. Hope that helps. Dear Samantha, If your house is a landed property (ie bungalow/semi-bungalow/terrace etc), then you have the option of taking the frontage of the house itself rather than the main door. Flying Star's facing/frontage can be defined differently depending on the type of house and where the main door is located. For apartments especially on lower floor, taking the main door is often better as long as the door is not located in a very odd sector. But for higher levels, it is better to take the frontage from the living room/balcony where most light enters. But generally, whichever way you decide to take the frontage, the main bulk of luck comes from the surrounding, as for the flying star, as long as you balance up the various influence properly, whichever frontage you select will eventually be harmonised. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Pam, In feng shui, you should not attempt to force an activate of a star. Since you have a situation which isn't possible you activate the mountain star, then there is very little you can do. A mountain star can only be activated in a sector where there is no window. Otherwise, it does not create a solid backing which is what the Mountain symbolise. So what you can do is attempt to fix up and/or activate other sectors that is possible. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.

Dear Charity, Basically, there could be several factors which may go wrong. What I can do to help you here is give you free paid reports that may help you understand what could be causing your problem. Most of the the time many areas such as:- 1. Feng Shui luck of existing house could be bad (please use flying star report to check) 2. External shapes and form (ie any sha qi from buildings across the home cutting into your home) 3. Ba Zi element / career (ie weak wood but having metal career which destroy your weak wood). 4. Ba Zi colour (ie weak wood dislike metal - white/gold which destroy your weak wood) 5. Unsuitable House (ie house face North water element, but if you are a weak fire for example, then water destroy weak fire). Unfortunately, there are so many people asking us for help, and we are not able to help each and every one personally. So if you are willing to do alittle work yourself with the paid reports, we can always guide you a littleon questions or areas which you are unclear. Please e-mail support@geomancy.net (Attn: Robert Lee), if you wish to have these paid credits. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear KL Tan, There is very little you can do to correct a eight house suitability issue. Anyway, it is still very common to have a house that is Spook / Irritation which is still acceptable. At least it is not as bad as having a house that is Death or Disaster. As long as you have a bedroom which is in one of you 4 good directions. This will help to offset the unsuitable facing direction. Other that this you should try to:- 1. Fix up anyleaks in the home. 2. Correct as much of the problems such as flying star bad sectors 3. Choosing suitable colours that match your ba zi so as to improve your overall luck. Just because one analysis is bad, does not mean that it is end of the world. This is even more so especially when you just bought the house. But at least it is not the worst issue. Just that you cannot enjoy the full benefit of the house. Hope that helps. Dear Rose, To answer some of your question:- a. For the poison arrow from street lamp, if you have aday curtain keep it close so that the lamp does not cut into your home. b. A house with missing corners is typically not good. There is very little you can do to fix this given you are on the 2nd floor. But such corners does make decorating it quite a challenge. c. As for the clutter, unfortunately too much items makes anyone feel uncomfortable. You should try to do some cleaning to clear some of the unused item. Also having lots of storage space can help keep such items out of sight. It seems that you had posted several posting. And seemed quite desperate. The best I can do is give you some complimentary credits to help you check on several of these areas:- 1. Feng Shui luck of existing house could be bad (please use flying starreport to check) 2. External shapes and form (ie any sha qi from buildings across the home cutting into your home) 3. Ba Zi element / career (ie weak wood but having metal career whichdestroy your weak wood). 4. Ba Zi colour (ie weak wood dislike metal - white/gold which destroy yourweak wood) 5. Unsuitable House (ie house face North water element, but if you are aweak fire for example, then water destroy weak fire). Unfortunately, there are so many people asking us for help, and we are notable to help each and every one personally. So if you are willing to do a little work yourself with the paid reports, we can always guide you a little on questions or areas which you are unclear. E-mail us privately at support@geomancy.net (Attn: Robert Lee) for the credits. That's the best I can assist you at this point. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, This really depends on a few factors:- 1. If it is a home/office built anytime after 2004, it will automatically be a period 8 house. 2. For houses built in period 7, it will remain a period 7 house until a major renovation is done to convert it. Please note, that a major renovation typically means changing of the house structure by knocking down some wall etc. Such renovation will take effect amost immediately. Most other renovations that are less major (ie painting of wall etc), or morelike repair work typically are not enough to constitute a major renovation, so it may or may not change depends on how much works are done. Most of the luck from home comes form the external feng shui. The rest comes from the home itself. Often if the external feng shui isn't good, no matter how much you change the interior, you will not be able to see a significant change in luck. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, In terms of this question, with regards to Grand Duke and sitting direction. If possible, you should avoid sitting facing the West. However, where you have constrain in this, then this Grand Duke issue is the least concerned. There are many concepts but not everything has to be followed depending on priority. Since you have a choice of direction North, then it would be advisable to sit facing North. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Pam, At first glance, it doesn't look good because if you consider the shapes and form, the corner bend of the road (close and far) on the opposite becomes a sha qi cutting into thehouse. So not really a good house in terms of shapes and form. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anthea, Yes, under the fortune telling analysis, Moles on Face is one form of analysis:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-face.htm In our website, we all along do not emphase on fortune telling portions for even ba zi. This is because, we believe that a lot of such fortune telling if any only create fears for people. And it will create this self-fullfilling concept. Where a person believes so much in the negative prediction, that you actually make it happen. Frankly, any form of even cosmetic surgery (how small), carries a risk of danger. So is it really worth the while to do so? The best way is to try to be in harmony with your envrionment, by knowing more about yourself, your home, your element, your colour, your career etc. This way, whatever other problems, can be balanced up. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, You can make use of the Auspicious Dates Analysis reports in our website to find the best date for your needs. URL: http://www.geomancy.net/products/po-dates/po-dates.htm Our auspicious date analysis requires name, gender, date and time of birth to be able to tell you the most personalised date that is best for you in addition to the Tong Shu. Since each person is unique, there is no single date that is good for all, unless you justlook only at Tong Shu. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Generally, grand duke does not affect a person much unless you refer to renovation work that happen in that sector direction. For bed or sleeping position, priority goes to the shapes and form placement of the bed within the room itself. Followed by, if possible best sleeping direction. Since grand duke isn't so much to worry in this case, thus you can choose to sleep with your head facing East. Please note that as mentioned you should also consider other factors such as the shapes and form of the bed. Hope that helps. Dear Pam, I really can't get a good look at the picture. Only could see a little bit of the roof, not even sure what colour of the roof. If blue/gray, not very ideal colour for roof. As it blue/gray represents water element, and in I-Ching water usually represents difficulty. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Rose, Generally, all feng shui items/gifts only help you feel good. Which means it will only improve your human luck. As long as you feel good about it, there is no harm buying such items. However, they are by no means items with a guarentee/warrenty that will sure to do what the seller claims. However, any items when given by a friend is always better as it contains the well wishes from your friend in addition to the item's own significant. That is why probably your friend said it is better if someones gives it to you as a gift. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, Glad that you enjoyed the website Please use our free ba zi report in our members area or via this link to determine the element of both of you:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm As I always mentioned, everyone should just try to enhance their own luck by wearing more of their favourable colours (ie weak wood, wear more blue/black/gray colours etc). Or having a career that is more suitable for you based on your element, and get luck from a suitable house. These will improve you luck. Dear Micky, The period 8 built house can be generated by selecting period 8 period when you create a flying star profile. The house will not fly to the period automatically unless you effect a change. Thus, any report created under period 7 will remain a period 7 house chart. For the yearly flying star, the 2005 stars will be available once you pass the Chinese Lunar New Year. The current year is still 2004. All our concepts on the website follow a standard calendar format ieChinese Lunar Calendar. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, This is actually a very common problem for a lot of people. This is where you need to adopt a give and take approach. When looking for for a home, you give the best facing (ie excellent/prosperity etc) to the breadwinner. In our traditional chinese culture, the man of the house is the husband or father of the family. Then the breadwinner will enjoya less suitable bedroom (ie spook/irritation etc). Given that the breadwinner gets his luck from the house, he can now give a better bedroom to his spouse. Thus, the spouse can have a less suitable facing of the house (ie spook/irritation etc), while a better bedroom ie (excellent/prosperity etc). This way you can each get luck from the house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Hi Anon, There are no such mircale items that can help you. Most of these items are created with the intention to make money. So they will of course tell you it is best you buy this item to protect yourself. However, these items does not come with a guarentee/warrenty card that say that if you use it, you will sure to be protected. The best way in our view, is as what we have been always been asking users to do. Enhance whatever element that you lack through, colours ofclothes/car/bedroom, a favourable career, house etc. If you can have as many areas of your life with more favourable element, this will help you reduce any inauspicious influence or impact for that year. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Karen, The problem with auspicious and inauspicious number is that there are many many different ways at looking at it. For example, 4 in cantonese sounds like Die, but 4 is used in like 4 leave clover to represent good luck. So auspicious numbers to different people may mean differently. Some people like 4 others hate it. It is really subjective. In terms of feng shui one way of checking if any large number is good or not is to convert it to a single digit. ie 39 = 3+9 = 12 = 1+2 = 3. If 3 is an auspicious gua number for you, then it should be fine. ie 44 = 4+4 = 8. If 8 is an auspicious gua number for you, then it is fine. Or it represents the current flying star period ie period 8 it is also good. But as mentioned there are numerous ways at looking at it. most people will not want 44 because it is like Die and Die. But often, the most important is not the number of the house, but rather the feng shui of the house itself. Hope that helps. Dear Cassendra, The important thing about bed placement is that you should try to place the bed in a position if possible as shown in this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-bedroom.htm It is very common when you apply the sleep position that you are both exact opposite (ie what is good for you isn't good for the other). So the only thing you do is to check out the eight house to see which side of the bed you should be sleeping. (ie North side which is closer to the left side of the bed is disaster, while North-East closer to the right side of the bed is health. Then you should opt for the right side of the bed.) This way each of you get to sleep on the side where it is closer to your favourable sector. Usually where bed arrangement is out of the question, then you can only opt to make sure that at least the side of the bed you are sleeping is better for you. No need for any other items. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Pam Landin, Generally, a house with good/excellentshapes and form is often more important than many other analysis. But because the house is your disaster, this may signify that this house isn't the best most suitable house for you. You can counter check this with your ba zi element, ie if you are a weak wood, and this is a North facing house Water, then this house has an element that is favourable to you. Even if the North sector is disaster, this will not be that of a bad. However, if the North is disaster, and ba zi element for that North is also unfavourable, then you should totally avoid this house. As both analysis are telling you that it isn't suitable. Our general advise, is that always try to ensure that the house isn't death or disaster where possible. This is because suitability related problems are not curable. Hope that helps.
