Dear Kathie, Firstly, you should understand a few issues about house number:- 1. House number isn't the most important aspect of a home. Meaning that the more important factor about luck of a home comes from the surrounding and the interior layout of the house itself. 2. Auspicious Number can be explained in many different ways. ie 4 to the Chinese especially Canonese is Die, but to some like the 4 leave clover is good luck. So how you perceive a number really depends on the individual. Some people like 4 others don't. 3. Sometimes, people look at house number the way it sounds or looking for numbers often associated with good luck like (6 in chinese is often means luck). Or in period 8, 8 is considered a very good number so it is ideal. 4. Usually, house number is looked at after you confirmed the house layout and location. Meaning that say if you are still looking for a new house, and here are two units available which is exactly the same. Then you look at the house number in attempt to see which is sounds better. Thus, there are many ways at looking at a number. Unless, you have the luxuary of changing the given house number, then there isn't much you can do about the number. But as mentioned, house number isn't the final determining factor for a house luck. So don't worry too much about it. Focus, on the house external surrounding and interior layout. Make sure the house fits and suits the people that is going to stay there. This is much more important. Hope that helps. Dear Mieke van der Wijngaart-van Dongen, In your case, whether there isn't much of a choice available to choose from. Then I would East would probably be the better choice. I mean at least directly behind is the sink rather than the toilet bowl itself. This is at least better than having a toilet bowl sharing the same wall as your bed. Furthermore, since it is your own toilet, you will be able to keep it clean, control keeping the toilet bowl cover down and keep the toilet door close when not in use. Often a home toilet will not be as dirty as a public toilet. The reason why toilet is considered least auspicious is often it is would be considered the most dirty place in them home, as well as a potential wealth leak (ie when you flush the toilet). So most of the time you would not want to have a toilet located near your main door where it is said that you will dirty the Qi. Neither do you want to have the toilet at the center of the home, where it is like you flush all the wealth out of your home given that center of the house is where all the major Qi influence will meet. Otherwise, there isn't much you can do about it. Of course, it will be ideal if you have other bed placement options but when you do not, you can only choose the least problematic option. Usually, this is only one issue amongs the rest of the issues. As long as you attempt to fix up all other major leaks, than it won't matter too much. I mean failing to answer 1 question out of 20 will not cause you fail the exam as long as you are able to answer the rest. So same here for feng shui, is is impossible to get a home with zero flaws. So all you can do is minimise whatever problems in the best way possible. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.

Dear ed Gin, Flying Star house number is only used to check whether a house unit is auspicious or not. This is particularly useful in determining which of the two units say #13-79 or #11-79 has better luck. The descriptions of the impact does not really occur. Whether or not you have such stars depends very much on the flying star analysis of your home more than a house number. So there should be nothing to worry about. Hope that helps. Dear Romila, There is no easy way to improve relationships, especially for office or in large organisations. This is because, often you do not have the luxuary to be able to have your own personliased space where you can plan where you can sit / face / colour for your area. Often, area is given to you. So you just have to make do with what you can correct and try to be more tolerant to avoid conflicts. In terms of Feng Shui:- 1. Just use the compatibility report in our members area. URL: http://login.geomancy.net Find out what element do you each belong to and what element is common to both persons. Have more of such elements such as the colour for the common areas both of you share. 2. At least try to have more of your own favourable elements so that it improves your luck. This may also help to reduce any possible conflicts from arising. Otherwise, the other will be your own people to people skill. You have to learn and find out the best way to deal with different people. Then apply them to the different people you handle. Remember, that Feng Shui is no mircle cure for every single problem. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Marion, We do not believe in applying location factor to a ba zi analysis for several reasons:- 1. In the past, feng shui or ba zi is mostly used in only Chinese country. At that time, no one use location factor in the analysis. It is only until some modern practitioners who want to make ba zi more accurate by adding location factor. However, my point on this is that as it is most people can't even remember or have exact hour of birth. What makes you think they will have the long. and lat. of birth. Even one degree off is as good as making the chart even more inaccurate. 2. Ba zi can be done without any time of birth factor anyway. If you noticed books about ba zi case study on famous people, 80% are done without even the hour of birth. So what does this imply. Hour of birth isn't absolutely necessary. Of course, if you have it will be better. 3. Simplified Time Zone modification, ie +/- hours based on the GMT for example. This is also in accurate application of location factor. The best way is just to apply ba zi based on your local time. No additional modification is needed. Ba Zi is only a heavenly given luck or map of what you might have assuming all other factors remain constant. However, in reality, your environment is always changing, as such what ever luck predicted in your heaven luck need not necessary be exactly the same as what you may encounter. A simple example of this is say a twin with the same ba zi. Imagine if one has PHD, the other only have primary education, do you think the two will have exactly the same luck? That is why I keep saying that even if your ba zi luck is very good this 10-year, but if your earth luck influence is bad, you will have bad overall luck. And thus, whatever predicted in your ba zi will never be correct. Furthermore, there are fortune telling aspects in ba zi. But a true fortune teller for example, does not just use ba zi, he will use ba zi, palm reading, his own experience to see how you talk and look in order to make a prediction. But a prediction is just a prediction. Often, it is those people who believe in exactly what the fortune teller tell you that you eventually make it happen. Ba Zi should be use only as a heaven luck prediction, to help you better understand yourself and how it fits to your environment. As such if you noticed, on our website we do not do any fortune telling. What we do is just to let you know what are the type of luck you should be having and what are the possible stars which might be present at which time so as to give you an guide or indication to maximise your own luck. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Romila, For the Eight House or Kua, it is not really possible to improve the relationship. For example, if North is Excellent for you, but North is Spook for your spouse, then it is not possible to make North the best direction for both of you. This is a limitation of this concept. However, what most people can do is ensure that you apply the give and take concept. Meaning, priority of a suitability to a house goes to the breadwinner, while the breadwinner gets a less auspicious room. Then give the spouse a better more suitable bedroom, since the spouse does not get the luck from the house. The only way you can improve any compatibilty, is between your birth element. Say one is weak waer and another is Strong metal. Then the best binding element is Water element. Which can then mean that you should choose colours such as blue/back/gray as a common element for the bedroom etc. Please use the free Compatibilty analysis in our Members Areas:- URL: http://login.geomancy.net To help you determine what are your individual elements as well as the common binding element to improve your relationship or compatibility. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, This is a very common issue for most couple. But the way to go about doing it is to apply the give and take principle. In the case of Eight House when what is suitable to you isn't suitable to your spouse. Then you should ensure that the house should be first suitable to you as the Breadwinner. Even if your wife isn't that suitable to the house, it is not too bad. If you can ensure that your wife has a suitable bedroom instead. This means that you draw your luck from the house, while your wife will draw the luck from a better bedroom. So even if the bedroom is like Spook/Irritation for yourself, this is acceptable since your luck comes from the house and not the bedroom. Hope that helps. Hi Anon, With regards to whether your first posting was ok, you can always use the Posted by Me link to check whether you have post it. All new postings will not appear for everyone to see until we have approved it. I would like to remind all users to avoid posting duplicate.Generally, it takes time for us to get to each and very postings. Duplicate post does not make reply faster. Unfortunately, I must say that when ba zi was originally used, there isn't any geographical position applied to it. In fact, it is modern practitioners who push for such an application. But I can tell you that there is actually no need for this. Why? 1. Ba Zi is able to give you a fair prediction even if your time of birth is left unknown. This is why if you read some pillars of destiny books written by some masters. You will find that they always like to use popular people as a reference about how accurate they are in their prediction or that they can see something in the chart that makes an event happen. Often, you find that they do not use the hour of birth and yet they can tell you this and that about what they see in the chart vs what has happened. 2. The application of such geographical difference into the ba zi can make a ba zi reading even more inaccurate. Why I say so? Simple. As it is, may people don't even know what hour they are born. Don't you think it will be same that they will also not be able to give youthe exact long. and lat. of birth location? In applying the long. and lat. of birth to ba zi, even 1 degree off will mean a completely different chart as compared to a ba zi chart done without any location factor. Furthermore, this is again a modern invention not what was used in the past. 3. Even if you apply the ba zi with time zone difference, this is also bad. This is because:- 3a. Time zone are simplified now-a-days to an hour difference for example GMT +0800, GMT -0500. In the past, the time difference can be a few minutes or half an hour etc. Now it is all 1 hour difference to simply the time zone. 3b. Time zone changes only influence either the long.or lat. direction. As such the only true way to apply such a difference is to calculate the moon position to your location rather than just add or minus the mins. 4. The hour of birth will only impact how accurate you can determine whether a person is weak or strong. But it does not impact how the luck period will look generally, because the luck period is deduced from the month pillar. 5. The ba zi analysis only gives you heavenly given luck. Meaning what you see on your ba zi may not be exactly what you have gone through. Why? Because there are many factors not being considered in the analysis such as the house luck (earth luck) which will have adverse influence over your given luck. This iswhy sometimes when what is analysed in the given luck does not fall exactly to what you experience. This is because another factor is adversely causing this deviation. 6. As such a ba zi will NOT give you 100% accurate analysis of what you actually experienced. It is only supposed to give you a chart of what luck you are SUPPOSED to have. It is often a great mistake for many practitioners to say that the ba zi gives you a very accurate prediction of your past and future events. But how can it when it's main goal is to deduce your heavenly given luck. As such, if any users do any analysis with ba zi on our website, our advise is to just use your local time without any modification of your time zone. In fact, if in doubt, it is often better not to put in an hour of birth. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Karen, Firstly, you should understand that fortune teller users several tools for to guess a persons fortune. Such tools are ba zi, palm reading, face reading, horoscope, i-ching etc. A good fortune teller with lots of experience, also uses their experience to be able to guess how is the person's character by observing that person's behaviour. That is why when you want your fortune told you must see the person face to face. Most of the predictions comes from the master's own experience and judgement. So ba zi is just one of the tools that a fortune teller will attempt to make use. And ba zi has two aspect understanding a person's given luck for use in Feng Shui as well as some fortune telling portions. In our website, we do not do any fortune telling, this includes adding any of such fortune telling aspects into our analysis. This is because, fortune telling can be dangerous and often it is because the person receiving the advise believes so much in the fortune teller, that the person makes it happen. ie if a fortune teller tells you that you are a jinx, and because of that you are so worried about it, that you will make it happen. As such all fortune telling aspects are just fortune telling. The only good thing about ba zi is it helps to depict a person's heavenly given luck. This is what we call the Heavenly Luck. A person's fortune and fate is often said as pre-destined. As such, the ba zi is supposed to be able to help one understand what kind of luck you might have. But such luck may or may not happen depending on how is your environment (Earth Luck). So the only good thing about the ba zi is the ability to understand what kind of luck you are given, what elements you belong to, how you may attempt to maximise the luck etc. Once you know that, you can then attempt to make your Earth Luck more suitable for your given luck so as to get the best amount of luck for yourself. So the main limitation is that ba zi only tells you what luck you are supposed to have. It may or may not be exactly the same all depends on your surrounding factors. Hope that helps. Dear Hoa, 2. Toilet is also the one major water leak in the home. Thus, it is why when a toilet for example is located in the center of the house, it considered a major wealth leak. So because a toilet location is deemed as least beneficial, it is often good when bad stars fall in a toilet location. It will help to dispell such bad influence. Just like other less important uses for rooms such as storeroom etc. Since you don't use it that much, if bad stars falls in such rooms, it will not harm the people there as no one lives there. As such, if you image if there the sector is good but it is located at the toilet influence, how much wealth can you expect to get? Furthermore, even if the wealth isn't leaked out, it will be made dirty. So does a water star in the toilet represents an open space. No, so it cannot be activated. I mean, it is much more effective if you focus on enhancing areas which will be beneficial to people who stay in the sector. ie your bedroom, living room, study room, kitchen etc. Hope that helps. Dear Ian, Usually, for relationship, you try to harmonise two persons by the element rather than animal signs. Animal Signs of conflict can be hard to bring them in harmony. But because each animal sign has a different element like a Metal Monkey vs Wood Tiger or can be a Fire Monkey vs Water Tiger. Thus, the elements of the animal sign can be harmonised. You will need to find the binding element of the two. Metal Monkey vs Wood Tiger, can make use of Water as intermediate binding element to help smoothing relationship. As it will create Metal -

Dear Anon, The easiest way to see if any elements is not favourable for you is to list out what each element favours and not favour:- 1. yourself: StrongMetal Favour: Water, Wood, Fire Not Favour: Metal, Earth Generally, your husband makes you too strong, as such you need to have Water (your son) to help exhaust your excess Metal. While your son weak Water will be your wealth. 2. your husband: Strong Earth Favour: Metal, Water, Wood Not Favour: Earth, Fire Generally, you (as a wife - Strong Metal) and your daughter (weak Wood), helps your husband reduce the excess Earth. While your son weak Waer becomes your husband's wealth. 3. your daughter: weak Wood Favour: Water, Wood Not Favour: Metal, Fire, Earth Generally, your daughter can draw strength from your son (weak ater). 4. your son: weak Water Favour: Metal, Water Not Favour: Earth, Wood, Fire Generally, your son, will draw strength from you (monther - Strong Metal). Once you know the five element, you can more or less deduce these relationship and find out how one family member helps another. When trying to reduce conflict. You should look between only two persons. Otherwise, it is very difficult to apply any solution because more than two the solutions requires a combination of element. For example, between you (Strong Metal) and your husband (Strong Earth). Then, binding element is Water and Wood. So your children happens to be your binding elements. Otherwise, you can make use of room decor which is Blue/Black/Gray (Water) and Green/Brown (Wood). Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, You should follow these priorty:- 1. Based on the birth element, ie a weak Wood person for example would generally mean that having more water and wood will help you improve her overall luck. 2. Use the Balance of the Five Element chart to help balance her elements so as create a perfect harmony. Say she has 10% Water and 20% Wood. It would mean that she would find water being the most favourable element, as the ideal percentage is 20% of all five elements. 3. Then once you balance up the element that make her better, you look at like the elements which have 0%. Only after you enhanced the favourable elements, then you can look at what elements you entirely lack to try to have a little bit of them. Not too much as it will also make your favourable element less. But a little bit will not harm. In fact a little bit will make it more balance for your daughter because the ultimate perfect balance is to attain 20% of each five element. But this is really very difficult, because it is tough to be able to tell how much element you have at any particular time. Thus, it is safe to always enhance what elements that make you weak. Followed by adding a little element that you have too little off. 4. Once you understand that, then just relate the elements to the various colours (bedroom/clothings etc), career, shapes etc. 5. Remember, that ultimately the perfect 20% of all five element is the goal. As such that is why no matter what, even the unfavourable elements, you should still have a little, just not too much. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Dragana Vilinac, Year 1957 (ding-you) is made up to Heaven Stem - Fire, Earthly Branch Metal Rooster. Year By default, if you take the Rooster without the Heavenly Stem it is yin Metal Rooster. However, when you are looking at a year, you should be using the Heavenly Stem element which is yin Ding (Fire). As such the year 1957 is a Fire Rooster year. There are 5 different kinds of rooster depending on the year. ie a Metal Rooster / Water Rooster / Wood Rooster / Fire Rooster / Earth Rooster. As for the birth element, you take the Heavenly Stem of the Day pillar as the element for your birth element. Just like there can be10 different element weak/strong Metal, weak/strong Water, weak/strong Wood, weak/strong Fire or weak/strong Earth person born in a Fire Rooster year. So you are a strong Metal person born in the Fire Rooster year. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anthony, 1. The fact that we have been using an online analysis, is already a clear indication that a mathematical way to determine the weak and strong throughmathematical calculation. There is no publication of such a mathematical formula from what I know so far. You can always use our online report to assess any person to see if they should be considered weak or strong. http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm 2. There are two ways to go about that once you determined whether you are weak or strong:- a. By default as a weak metal for example, it would naturally mean that you either lack earth or metal, while you have too much of fire and wood. As such, the easiest way to make you strong is by assuming that you need more earth and metal to make your weak metal stronger. b. The other way is by the Five Element Balance chart where you breakdown how much of each element you have and then further fine tune the the elements by attempting to create a perfect balance of 20% for each element. This is ultimate perfection, but of course because it is the ultimate perfection, it is also the hardest to achieve. As it is frankly, not possible to be able to calculate at any time how much influence you have and how much you luck. As such as long as you follow point a you should be safe enough. point b is for the fine tuning. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET- Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Mark, This is one of the many "Concept Names" given to a situation in flying star concept where the problem star is also a wealth feature for that sector. For example, as everyone knows Star 5 for example is a Strong Earth star. On its own it is an inaupicious star. But when there is like a Star 8 (Earth Auspicious Star) and Star6 (Metal Auspicious Star) and that when star 5 occurs in such a sector especially as an annual star, this star 5 because it is Earth makes Star 8 stronger. Thus, is something like giving more wealth to the sector. This is further enhanced if a Five Element Combination Flow can be achieved either by:- Fire - This is why on our website from day one, we simply employ only the five element as the primary concept in analysing the flying star as well as the suggestion of cures. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, The most important thing is for the 6 rods to be all Metal, especially brass. The rest of the support is fine to be non Metal. The point is because 6 rods is Strong Metal. So it is most effective when the rod are metal. If you use like 5 rods it is Earth element. And if you use like 3/4 rods is Wood element etc. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, Flying Star imbalances must be corrected regardless of what element you may be. After you work in the cure for the sector, then you can work on creating the necessary influence for you and your husband. For a Strong Earth and Strong Metal person, you will need to have Water (blue/black/gray) and Wood (green/brown) elements to keep the Strong Earth and Strong Metal in check. Once a cure is placed, just focus on other decoration in the room to ensure that they are favourable to both of you. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.

Dear Kay, Often there are many ways at looking whether a number is auspicious or not. ie. For most 4 - Cantonese sound is Die so most people avoid it. But if you look at the Iris - 4 leave clover is a lucky symbol. ie. Alterntaively, you can also add up the numbers to be a single number to see if it matches your gua/kua number ie 6779 = 6 + 7 + 7 + 9 = 29 = 2 + 9 = 11 = 1 + 1 = 2. So there can be 101 different ways at looking at a number. What is good for one may not be good for another. However, what you should also remember is that ultimately, what makes a house/plot of landgood or not is ultimately, the feng shui of your environment as well as the house that you plan to build. This will have a greater impact as opposed to just the house number. Often the house number is only looked at when there are say two identical units and you want to see which of the two units is better off. The only thing you can do now is not to worry too much about the house number. But rather to ensure that there are no other major leaks in the house feng shui. So by fixing up all existing leaks and enhancing individual's luck by following what elements they favour. You can then reduce any major impact that you might have. Hope that helps. Dear Pei Yi, Generally, in a big luck analysis, it is only a general summary of whether a person's luck is with or not with him. Of course, it is ideal that luck is with you during the different 10-years in your life. For some very luck people, luck is always on his side, meaning that for a large bulk of ten-year period, big luck is always travelling in the same direction that favour your birth element. But for some, luck isn't on his/her side. This means that a person will have to work even harder to succeed. This is why we say ba zi, can only tell you what kind of given luck a person have at birth. However, luck is always changing. Even if 10-year luck isn't that good, there will always be some 5-year/year/6-month/month/day which will be good within that year. That is why there will always be ups and downs for everyone. Some year have better luck some bad luck etc. Even the environment will always be changing so luck may or may not follow the given luck. Regardless, of what kind of luck you have at different time. It is always good to always have as much favourable elements in your career, life, house so that it helps to offset and improve a luck for the individual. As long as everyone knows what favours and unfvourables them, then you can know how best you can improve your overall luck to reduce any major impacts. Hope that helps.
