Dear Anthony, Each person ba zi is unique. When what stars occurs will have different influence an impact. So not possible to just explain what each influence will be as each stars also have to depends in the Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branches of each pillar. Generally, for such stars, the most useful of which are the Nobleman, Arts, Academicstars which are what most people will look for to tell you if a person is very fortunate or not. This is because, the presence of such stars especially nobleman will mean that this person is extremely fortunate as no matter what happens always people will be around to help him/her when in need. Some of the other stars such as death is usually focused more towards fortune telling, which is one area which we will never go into as it will only create a situation of panic. While other stars such as movement stars (career etc), are more useful when it is found in the luck pillars. A lot of questions posted by you relates more to detailed ba zi fortune telling learning or information which does not benefit the rest of the users. If you are so interested in Ba Zi as especially predictions/fortunes, pleaseget a professional fortune teller to advise you on your individual fortune. We do not do fortune telling as such our ba zi excludes any area related to these as it only induces what we call self-fullfilling prophecy. We only focus on analysing the heavenly given luck so as to allow corrections to be made on your earth luck for feng shui purposes. Dear PG Tan, Please note that flying star though only uses numbers, has lots of theories and concepts. As such for one to truely know how to read the information, you will need to really take an indepth course on the flying star itself to fully understand how the interactions of each numbers will mean in different sectors. There isn't going to be any easy way to explain it. This is why on our website, we already provided the free flying star analysis whereby the key stars to take note are already colour coded so that you can tell whether a star is good or bad. For detailed, analysis, we have the paid version of the flying star which does all the analysis for you. In any case, most of the time you look at the 20-year and at most the yearly star. Monthly star is only needed to know which month is better or worst within the entire year. No one in the right mind will want to be applying cures every month. This is absolutely crazy. So cures if any should be focused on the 20-year period which influence the house luck for that sector and at most fine tuning the analysis to the yearly stars. Usually if a house chooses good colour scheme and positions the furniture arrangement correctly, chooses the right funiture material / colour scheme. These will all help to balance up the sectors. Remember that flying star is only one concept. One must not just eat and sleep on flying star, and ignore other concepts like the shapes and form arrangement, eight house directions, ba zi elements/colours etc. Furthermore, even how much you enhance or focus on one sector of the flying star, it can only bring about that amount of luck improvement. The biggest portion of wealth come from the surrounding environment. If your surrounding is bad, no matter how much you beautify your internal 4 walls, the maximium amount of luck will not exceed what your house is able to accumulate from the surrounding. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.

Dear Chee Kheong, Yes, when you have a wealth luck during the major luck period, it means that you have a greater or higher chance for wealth opportunities. How well you can take advantage of it will depend on yourself especially how strong your element is to be able to control or maximise the opportunities. In such periods it is the better periods for making investments. It is even better, if the current 5-year, yearly, 6-monthly luck are further in your favour. As for lottery, this is hard to say because when it comes to lottery, you are actually gambling against million of other people. Whoever's luck is highest will tend to have a higher opportunity of winning. So when it comes to lottery, it is anyone's guess as to who will win and how much you can win. Hope that helps. Dear Hoa Luong, Actually, that analysis shouldn't be showing as it isn't ready yet. I may have forgotten to disable it in the report template. As such, it kept showing that analysis header for all the sectors in the report. It was supposed to be released in future version. Basically, it is when the water star is trapped at the center sector where it cannot be activated in any of the 8 directions. Imagine this, a water star is useful when there is open space at any of the eght directions, but when it is found in the center sector, it means you cannot activate it to enable the auspicious influence. Hence, known as beingtrapped. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Hoa Luong, Star 4 is a Lawsuit star by default. However, in period 8, it isn't as bad as it should be thus, it is considered an average star. So when star 4 and 1 appear together it is still considered auspicious. Just like Star 7 which is a Robbery star by default. Under period 7, star 7 is an auspicious star due to the 7 period effect, causing 7 star for mountain or water star to be the current water/mountain star. However, star 4 itself is still a lawsuit star which still needs to be further balanced by Metal, given star 4 is weak star by default. So under 4 and 1 combination, having some Metal influence will create Metal - Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Mr. Foo, You see each section of the Luck flow is analysed individually. Meaning, that the 10-year luck is analysed only on 10-yearly luck. It does not use the 5-yearly luck to determine whether it is Auspicious or Inauspicious. So the same thing here is the yearly luck is analysed on it's own to give you a grading whether the year is Auspicious / Average / Inauspicious for example. A year can be Average, but have Very auspicious 6-monthly luck which only means to say that that year though is average is of a much better year compared to another year that is Average, but have Inauspicious 6-nthly luck. However, it isn't as good as a year that is Very Auspicious, and also have 6-monthly luck that is Very Auspicious. The way you use that portion of the report is to help you determine whether how good a period is. For example, if the 10-yearly luck is auspicious, 5-yearly luck is auspicious, and year luck is also auspicious, it means you are in the very auspicious year since both the 10-year luck and 5-year luck are also at it's best. As such, each section is analysed with it's own grading, rather than a compounded analysis results which may not give you the best way to judge a particular period or year. Hope that helps. Dear Users, NOTE: We have fixed a typo on the forecast report which kept showing Strong Water Rat instead of the correct element type and animal group for each section. NOTE: We also corrected a typo on the direction of the Illness star which is located in the East this year. The flying star number was located on the East sector, but in the explanation it showed as West instead of East. This has been corrected. It has been an extremely busy year, so we only had time to prepare the next year forecast this month. This forecast further improves upon previous years forecast. Dear Anon, Anyway, to make it easy, Cecil has already classify some careers into the five element relationship:- Water Career Advertising, Arts, Brewing, Communications, Computers, Drinks, Healing, Laundry, Literature, Manufacturing, Media, Music, Therapy It is not exhaustive, but it should serve as a guide. Just wearing colour isn't good enough. You will need to have more than that to make a weak wood stronger. You need to have as many areas in your life with more water element (ie colours, career, house etc). Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Sophia, This should not be an issue since you are using it as a Nursery, it is actually acceptable. In fact it allows for more ventilation especially for children. If the room is used as a store, it is obviously better to have a door to avoid having items falling out of the room. Hope that helps. Dear Catherine, Generally, whether or not a date is auspicious or inauspicious depends on lots of factors. In terms of ba zi, luck is always changing every 10-year, 5-year, yearly, 6-monthly, monthly, daily and hourly. So each person's luck is different from day to day. It is very difficult to tell you for sure which day would be good or bad for you. That is where the general tung shu comes in. Every year, analysis is done to generally tell you when which day is aupicious or not. So most likely what you have read from comes from something similiar. A lot of this also depends on how supertitious and how much you believe. To me anyway, Weddings is joyous occasion. Usually, there shouldn't be a problem if you wish to attend your friends/relative wedding. Night Wakes / Funeral on the other hand may arouse more chinese supertition, as such you might want to take extra caution. However, as a general note, it is always good to always enhance yourself so that you can reduce any inauspicious influence. This is by knowing what element you are and thus, having more favourable elements to improve our luck. Second advice here is that you can always check on the personalised auspicious date analysis of yourself, to see if this is a good date. If not you can always avoid it. Hope that helps. Dear Oliv, You have to balance up the sector with the element which would be most effective. In case of 7 2 2, then Metal will still be most effective solution. In period 7, 7 will still be a good star, so not much of additional cure is needed. In period 8, Metal and Water would be good solution as it will create a Triple Element flow (ie Earth - Hope that helps. Dear Carmela, Most important where possible for bed position, is the general placement of the bed to the entire room itself. This should always take priority, followed by when possible suitable bed placement based on your eight house directions. Sometimes the shapes and form placement does not permit you to place your bed in your best direction. This is not as important for example, if at least the bedroom sector is located within one of your good directions (ie North - Excellent, but if the bedroom is North), then even if you sleep West (ie. Spook), this is not as bad as you already get the luck form the North sector of the house. In your case where two person have opposite favourable and unfavourable direction 2. If you both sleep on the same bed, then you can only try to check out which side of the bed is better for each person. ie say Right side of the bed (closer to East sector which is Excellent for you, Disaster for your daugther), and Left side of the bed (closer to North-East which is Spook for you, Health for your daughter). Then it is best you sleep on the right side of the bed, while your daughter sleep on left side of the bed. Then each of you help sheild the other party from the least auspicious sector. This is usually better than say you sleep on one side of the bed with your feet North, while your daughter sleep on the same bed with her feet on the opposite side of the bed. Hope that helps. Dear Laura, This is similiar to saying that the wealth sector falls in the toilet / storeroom area so I must work in that sector in order to benefit from it. (ie. bring a notebook into the toilet and work). Unfortunately, when wealth stars are located in certain sectors of the house that isn't fully utilise, there is very little that you can do to fully take advantage of it. Rather than trying to see how you can activate such stars that are trap in less useful sectors of the house, you might as well spend more time activating stars which you can benefit from or fixing other leaks in the home. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Pam, Generally, in terms of shapes and form, it does not matter as much as how sharp the bend is. Any such curve bend, it is better if you are located inside the bend (ie on the opposite side of b for example), rather than outside. This is because a bend will look as if it is like a knife cutting or radiating outwards. These three houses (a), (b) or (c) will all suffer the knife cuting effect. All are not as ideal houses if you have a choice. That is why, I mentioned that at first look, it does not look good. This is because it is like the road cut out to the houses. Especially so with that corner house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Josephine, Firstly, N2 is a short form for North Sector 2. You see each direction ie North has a 45 degree angle. In flying star, each direction is divided into 15 degree sector, thus, you get N1/N2/N3. N2 simply represents 0/360 direction or true north direction. Based on what you mentioned, your home is a landed property. Why are using the backdoor as the direction? You should either use the main door or the frontage. For landed property we recommend that you use the frontage of the house. Furthermore, since the alternative backdoor is North is death for your husband, it means that will not be a good door for your husband to use. You mentioned, that your main door is NE75, so what is your husband's eight house for NE? If it is anything better than Death (N) or Disaster (E), then you should use that as his entrance. Since N and E are bad, what is NE for him? But you should know that, you cannot expect to get luck by remote control. This means that if this landed property isn't where you are staying, then you will not get the luck from the house itself. In fact, the luck you will be getting from is from the current apartment. In order to enjoy the feng shui of the house, you have to be staying there to benefit from it. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Kelvin, Flying Star can be applied to as large as a plot of land, or as small as an apartment or a bedroom. So where you decide to take the facing direction or main door will determine how the flying star chart influence is for. 1. If you are doing a feng shui evaluation for the entire plot of land at Haig Court, then you take the entrance of the plot of land. 2. If you are doing a feng shui evalution for the entire block, then you take the facing of the entire block. 3. If you are doing a feng shui evalution for your own apartment, then you either take:- 3a. The main door of your apartment especially if lower level (ie less than 10 floors). 3b. The facing from your balcony or living room especially on higher levels or anything which you are not sure, you can use this as a general facing of the home. I believe what you are looking for is just to do an evalution of your own home, thus use either 3a or 3b. Hope that helps. Dear Samantha, Basically, the applying of the Eight House or Flying Star is done just as in the Step 7 of this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-house1.htm Each sector is 45 degree in range. So as long as the bedroom or sector falls under that 45 degree range, then the cures or fixes should be applied within that sector. Usually at the wall or window that is in that sector range. The best example that I can give you is this sample report that Cecil does for his clients in a Full Audit. http://www.geomancy.net/consultation/consult-home/onsiteconsultationsample-layout.htm You need to break up the sectors into the different sectors, then evaluate what colours and elements you need to balance up the sector. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Resarch

Dear Wanjun, Please make use of the online analysis to determine whether you are weak or strong:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm Usually, ba zi day of birth is used to determine if you are what element within the year. As to whether you are a weak or strong element, that depends on quite a number of factors, ie seasons of birth, number of elements including the House of Conception & Life. The above link will analysed everything just as the paid report, so you will know for sure whether you are weak or strong. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Oliv, The problem with most of the problem stars like star 2/3/5, is that they are Strong Earth/Strong Wood/Strong Earth. In order to reduce the Strong Wood, fire is the most effective because it uses wood to make the fire strong, thus weakening the Strong Wood. If you use Metal, metal may not be able to destroy Wood as easily. Imagine using an axe to chop down a tree that has a trunk that is very thick. But fire can easily burn down the tree. So fire is effective in such situation. However, the problem with fire cure is that it does not work where sector have star 2 or 5 present, as fire will only make those stars stronger. As such, in these special case, Metal would be the best solution. Imagine this. Say you are supposed to be able to get 100% of luck assuming there are no leaks in the house. But because there is an unfixed leak you can only get 60% of the luck. Enhancements can only bring up your luck by say 25% more. Given that you cannot expect to get more from a house unless you move to a better location for example. So this is like saying that if you have a leak that you do not fix you can only expect to get 60% of the luck. Even if you enhance all the best sector, you get another 25% more which makes it 85%. But if you fix up the leaks allowing you to get the maximium luck from the house, then enhance it, you can then get 125% of all possible luck. Which is why fixing the leak is an important factor in improving luck. Any leak reduces your overall luck. So fixing them help to avoid any wealth leak. Hope that helps. Dear Oliv Sillivan, To avoid lawsuits, you have to check out where is the Lu Chun Xing (Star 3 - Wood) under the flying star analysis. If there are such stars present in areas such as your main door, frontage, bedroom or study room which you use. These are the stars you want to neutralise so as to reduce any such lawsuits/conflicts. The solution is to have more Metal.Fire is also possible so long as there is no Star 2/5 present. These are the stars normally associated with the Lawsuit issues. However, beside that, we always advise users to do a full assessment of your home, check out whether there are any major leaks such as:- 1. House is death / disaster to the occupants particularly the breadwinner. 2. Is there any Shapes and form leaks (ie Poison arrow from building across the road, or Qi leak from main door out to a window etc) 3. Are there other flying star inbalances (ie sickness/misfortune stars), that are still not neutralised. 4. Enhancing your own personal luck by ensuring that you have more of your favourable elements based on your ba zi in your career, house & around you. If you ensure that all these areas are fixed or enhanced, then it will help to minimize any impact of any lawsuits etc. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Samantha, One must not forget, that flying star is only one portion of a complete analysis. The most important factor to a good house isn't just the 4 walls of the home, but rather the external factors and surrounding. Regardless of whether you take the main door or the facing of the house. Both are not wrong, they are the actual flying star influence of the house itself. Even though, the charts may look different, they are the correct chart for the home. The important issue about flying star is to balance up all the sectors. Regardless of what is the chart, ultimately, the way to balance the sectors will not differ to much. Furthermore, as mentioned, flying star only affects the 4 walls of the house itself. How much, you enhance isn't going to make bring you that much wealth if the surrounding environment is bad. As long as your compass direction is correct, be it whether you use the main door or facing direction, they results will not go wrong if you balance everything correctly. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Alice, Please always remember that true feng shui does not really need to use any items. The best way to harmonise the environment is not by putting all sorts of 'feng shui items' but rather to ensure that:- 1. You fit the environment based on suitability. 2. Colours scheme of the home/decor/car fits your element so as to gain as much luck as possible. 3. Placement of furnitures such that there is no posion arrows etc. You will find that if you follow the above, it does a lot more wonders than just using any particular items. Of course, such items if it makes you feel good, then no harm in putting it. This is because the Human Luck (whatever makes you feel good), is also another factor of the Heaven, Earth, Human luck. Otherwise, all items are otherwise promoted with the purpose of making money. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, For practical reasons, if one must shift house during herpregnancy, it is best that:- 1. she must not see the masterbed moved over to thenew home at all. 2. one possibility isbuy a new master bedroom bed. In particular, for the masterbedroom bed, she should not (must not) see it moved or participate in the moving of the bed. If possible, on the safe side, she should not participate at all in the move while pregnant. Only after the shift has been completed and the master bed is firmly in place, then she can "move-in" or come into the new home. Once this is done, don't move the bed at all. Only after baby's 1 month. You should also read up on some other post that Cecil has written relating to pregnancy and move-in/renovation. http://www.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=14401 Hope that helps.
